Biryaniwalla Downtown

We went for catering service and briyaniwalla served delicious food. Their service was outstanding and modified the menu based on our requirements. Would definitely recommend briyaniwalla for catering orders.

People that work here are fine, but honestly the food was pretty mediocre. Like the equivalent of fast food. The raita was like water. The naan was like grocery store pita. ¯⁠⁠_⁠ (⁠ツ⁠) ⁠_⁠/⁠¯

I'd rather go to namaste just down the street.

Kaju ghee roast biryani is an absolute gem. So much that while transiting in toronto, especially went out of the airport to eat it.

One of the worst experiences in Indian food restaurants. Visited the restaurant after hearing about it several times but highly disappointed with the quality of food, service, hygiene & hospitality.
Walked into a dining room with dirty tables with leftover food in plates and messy floor. Nobody was there to attend and take order. Kitchen staff came out to take orders (if you look at the clothes of the staff they were so dirty that it seemed like they were not washed for months). Taste and quality of food was negatively affecting spoiled our health. If a food & health inspection takes place here the restaurant is likely to shut down on spot.
Not recommended even for trying.

Ordered in and it was fantastic! Mutton biryani was top and the chilli chicken was so fire!

I order food they ask me to come after 15 min when I went there after 25 min the food was not ready when I ask counter person didn't told kitchen about my order so food was not ready very rude behavior look very messy behind the counter

Don’t get the tandoori chicken (half/full). That’s completely a scam. We got one full chicken and they gave us two chicken legs in 4 pieces (like two drumsticks and two thighs). The manager was kind enough to give us one extra piece of chicken (drumstick) while we had concern about this but yet it’s not enough to call it a full tandoori chicken. If you are doing that please add description to the menu so that people knows what they are ordering. And they are charging 23 dollars for those 4 pieces of chicken. I have attached a picture. Don’t waste 23 dollars on that.rather go to Naan Kabob and get the half chicken dinner, it has more chicken than that and costs 19 bucks. I have been to Nando’s, Ghadir meat and chicken, Mandi Afandi to try full chicken. So I know what full chicken is like and what comes in it. Yours is a complete scam where you charge 23 for nothing.
Apart from that we had ghee roasted boneless biryani which we liked. We also ordered Naan which was served cold to us. Like it was not soft and breaking apart due to hardness as it was served cold to us.
If you people want to try biryani, their biryani is good and quantity is satisfactory. But don’t get anything elsse

I ordered Mutton boneless biryani through uber eats. Tastes better than most but at the same price point Charminar is far far better in terms of quantity, quality, meat portion and additional chicken 65 with biryani.

This biryani tastes good but very less meat portion.less than what Charminar gives in a solo pack.

Biryaniwalla Downtown has become my go-to spot for biryani in Toronto. The food is consistently delicious and the prices are reasonable.

Tried kaaju biriyani and majestic chicken. Majestic chicken was soo yum and spicy. Biriyani was average. Great service and friendly staff.serves halal food️

My visit to this restaurant was quite disappointing. First off, the guy at front kept me waiting for a good 10 minutes, completely ignoring my presence. Instead, he seemed more interested in engaging in a lengthy phone call with what appeared to be his friend speaking in Hindi. I overheard him passionately discussing all the different masala items they could offer, completely disregarding his duty to attend to customers. Birwaniwalla's biryani is very tasty and spicy, there is no Restaurant like it around here, serving very delicious food and I am satisfied with its service.

I visited Biriyaniwalla with my family for dinner and ordered shahi chicken biryani and butter chicken with naan. Everything was so dilicious and yummy. Loved the place and kids enjoyed a lot.

Been here to have dinner, expected it to be like every other biryaniwalla but NO This place is different in every other way. First, The quantity is very less compared. And taste is not bad I would say we can get the same sort of taste for way less in many other restaurants, we ordered shahi chicken biryani, and konaseema chicken biryani which is ok, and then we found that

The food is a mixed bag. Really good biryani once, and raw, undercooked prawns after a long wait the next time. Then, I was told that the prawns could not be undercooked since all reviews for the prawns biryani have been positive. So I wanted to put this out there.

Awesome ambience and great taste. Visited this place 2nd time and had the great experience with yummy hyderabadi chicken biryani.
