The owner is such a kind man. Have been here few times always so generous and friendly. I’m a nurse and come in to have a quick bite. Food is always good. Hidden gem
The Butter Chicken, Curry, and samosas were incredibly flavorful. The portions are generous and the man behind the counter was very friendly and pleasant. What more can you want.
Picked up takeaway Indian this evening - Aloo Gobi, and Butter Chicken. The owner was welcoming and charming and offered us a sample. The food was fresh and delicious, and the portions quite generous.
Very fresh tasting! Stopped in here for a evening snack, picked up some meat pies and a za'atar, ended up leaving with a full dinner. The Curry Chicken and rice is to die for. The rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The chicken had the best curry around. One bite from the meat pie, and I was hooked. Most meat pie places I visit are generic and bland. Most places have to load up on spice and lemon. Nor at this joint! Literally the best meat pie I've ever had. A must try in your in the area, what are you waiting for!
Most amazing beef samosa I’ve ever had! Fragrant spicy fried onions with a generous sprinkling of beef! Amazing. I’m glad I got hungry on my walk today
We were out walking our dog and came across this local gem! Friendliest owner ever! We of course ordered a couple pies- which were delicious. He had some pasta ready to go, and I'm never one to say no to pasta! It was deliciously savoury and so cheesy! Can't wait to go back!
Great guy who want his customers to be happy. A former chef in two "high-end" local restaurants who likes being independent now. Great variety: Indian / Middle Eastern / Italian / Sandwich - Veggie - Cheese Platters. All fresh and home-made.
I like the place and owner too. He is so friendly. Meals are really good. And good to find a place like that in the middle of town where can find prepared foods. Thank you Ruhul.
High quality cheese and meat pies, and a convenient neighborhood location. Lots of people seem to stop in for the curry at lunchtime. The owner and head chef is really charming and has some great stories about meeting some former Prime Ministers.
Absolutely amazing food, love going here and getting takeout to bike to the river and enjoy. The food is so well done from the aloo gobi to the fantastic Italian food. Super wide variety and all super tasty. Definitely going here for a long time!
Delicious zaatar and chicken korma off the beaten path. A great place to visit within an easy bike ride off the main roads and bike paths. Definitely worth the trip from downtown Ottawa. The place offers a mix of foods from an experienced, charming chef of Italian foods. Happy to find and support small businesses offering yummy foods while on holidays.
Food is good but I am suspicious about it. The food is so cheap I wonder if it comes out of the trash. It seems like the food is old, but it still tastes good. Maybe they overloaded the preservatives or substituted the chicken with soy. The lamb tastes like stale bread and the curry tastes like blueberries. Clean walls, though.
This place is such a hidden gem! I went here for the first time to grab dinner and Raul was so friendly. He let me taste the daily specials and even sent me home with some free samosas!
We ordered the tortellini and chicken curry, both were excellent and VERY generous portions. Can't wait to come back to try more dishes!
