Black Bear Beach Campground

It’s a hidden gem! The water is very clean, the place is not very crowded, and you can have access to public washrooms and playgrounds for kids. Love my visit this weekend while water was warm and the sky was blue! Definitely will visit this beach again next summer! Parking is free and if you want to go to beach, no admission or entry is required!

Great staff and welcoming atmosphere. Sites surrounded by trees as well as sites with an Ottawa River view. Clean beach. Washrooms scattered throughout, each a short distance from all campsites. Showers available.

A large and beautiful sandy beach with a lifeguard, on base. There were washrooms for you to use that included a large changing room.

Great family beach. Grab your towels, your sunscreen, some watermelon, a good attitude and you're in business.

Dropped in to see what the rental sites were like. A primarily seasonal campground, it has an incredible beach.

We love BBCG, we've been coming here for 5 yrs now. The staff is great, friendly and always willing to help. We feel welcome whenever we come, love the beach! Just a note, there's not as many amenities as other campgrounds, but the setting is great. There's a bath house - free hot showers, laundry, ice, wood, park for the kids, and did I mention the great beach!

Decent camp grounds. The sites are fairly close together but still offer a nice place to kick back and relax by a campfire.

Nice place to walk in winter. Quiet. In summer pretty.but packed. Everyone knows their neighbors
