Super professional. Got four ear piercings here and everything was very seamless. The staff made me feel comfortable - especially when getting the piercings them self. Mike did a lobe piercing on both me and my friend today: it was a great experience because of his patience and humour. We were very worried about getting pierced as it was our first time but he made it super easy and pleasant. It was also super easy to book an appointment via email. I would highly recommend!

This is the best piercing studio in Toronto. I trust them completely, they are professional, talented and genuine. I’ve gotten multiple piercings here and have called in to get jewellery put in and ever time is a great experience. Go here.

My friends and I visited the Black Pearl to get piercings the other day and it was by far the best experience I have ever had! Kat was absolutely amazing, and even though we aren't from the Toronto area we will definitely be back soon!

I hate giving low reviews to small businesses. I came over a year ago. This place was clean, and professional. Kat did my 5 piercings beautifully. Initally, they looked great.the quality of the jewelry seemed fine too.
I gave 1 star because ALL 5 of my piercings got very infected and eventually closed up, even though I took good care of them. For 2 of my ear piercings, Kat had to take them out for me since my ear had swollen up like crazy. I had to take almost 4 sets of antibiotics and felt like I wasted my money. She did suggest the face mask wearing/heat mightve been what irrated my ears but I was quite careful.
Ive had piercings at 2 other places in Toronto which healed fine.

Would give 10 stars if it was an option! Mike is a professional from start to finish. I did the buy one piercing get one free and Showed him the 2 style piercing I want and he made sure to double check that he had them aligned with the photo sample- I shared of the helix piercings! Great atmosphere, very relaxing, very clean, comfortable and made to feel at ease. You can tell he loves what he does! He’s really nice and informative of how to care for your piercing after and the other ladies were really welcoming and nice. Will be back to get more work done for sure!

The place is very clean and they are very good about sanitation. The staff are very polite, friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions and gave good suggestions for after-care. I had to get my peircing fixed and they did it very quickly and easily. I would definitely go back for more.

I never leave reviews, but I had to for this place! Very friendly and kind staff. I got my helix piercing which didn’t hurt at all. The guy who did it was super talkative and nice which helped with the nerves. Would 100% recommend this place if you’re looking to get your ears pierced.

Very kind people. Was in a tough situation but they helped right away. Extremely thankful to them. Will come for my next piercing. Also so easy to find and such a nice studio space.

Today I got my tongue pierced here. The procedure took less than five minutes. I thought it would be very painful, but no. I think this is due to the fact that the needles are sharp, and the master (Kat) is experienced. I came 20 minutes before closing, I did not think that they would accept me, but still, after about 10 minutes, I left there with a piece of metal on my tongue. Moreover, when they found out that I was a foreigner and my English was poor, they translated the recommendations for me into my native language and gave me printouts. I will most likely go there again)

After months of waiting for the GTA to allow piercings, I booked two piercings (my left tragus and a rook on my right ear). After getting to Black Pearl, the location was extremely clean, the staff were very friend and professional and the price for both piercings were amazing. I was a bit nervous to get the piercings but the guy who did them was very friendly and he explained the entire process and thus I was at ease. After the piercings, I did not get any redness or pain and was really happy about it. Fast forward to almost 2 weeks after the piercings, I was cleaning one of the piercings and the ball was loose and dropped on the floor and I could not find it. I reached out to Black Pearl and she advised that I can come in when I would like and they would replace the ball at no extra cost. The process to replace it was so quick, less than 5 mins from walking in. I am looking at getting two tattoos and the service I have received from Black Pearl has definitely influenced me to get my tattoos there. Amazing service!

My youngest went for her lip piercing here today. She also got her second ear piercing here a couple of months ago. Friendly staff. Clean place. Lots of customer.

Amazing experience from start to finish! Efficient process with choosing jewelry at the start with Julie and then going in for the piercing with Kat. We booked an appointment for three people and traffic was terrible so we were all running late. Yet they kindly accommodated us despite their busy studio. Kat still took her time to answer our many questions and ensure the positions of our piercings were exactly what we wanted (I was indecisive). My friend was getting her first piercings ever - super nervous - but Kat was phenomenal and made her feel at ease. Altogether we'd asked for three lobes, a helix, a faux snug, a rook, and a flat; Kat was quick and tirelessly kind throughout it all. I highly recommend coming here for all your piercing needs!

Went with my mum to get some ear piercings and had a great experience! The piercer, Mike, was so friendly and patient. All the staff were very comforting and the place had a really great vibe. Great pricing and jewelry options too!

I visited this establishment on Wednesday to get my septum pierced. It’s a great spot! Kat pierced me, she was very soothing and kind, she let me chicken out a few times and was very cool in letting me get a grip on my emotions. The piercing itself was very painless and quick, they have nice jewelry and it’s very clean. I’d recommend this spot to anyone looking to get a needle through their skin ️ it’s definitely easy to get to by TTC, and they have 2 for 1 piercings every day! Septum isn’t included though.

I’ve been pierced here 6 times and always had an amazing experience, so much so that I’ve brought my sister and friends here with me as well. Kat is an INCREDIBLE piercer! She makes you feel so comfortable, safe, calm, and helps explain every step of the way. Very knowledgeable in body jewelry/healing and has great styling suggestions. The process is always quick and smooth! They also have very sterile and aseptic techniques which is so appreciated. The receptionist at this spot is also lovely and very accommodating with booking. I particularly love that Black Pearl has a great 2 for 1 deal for a lot of piercings AND they have gold jewelry options which is so rare! As someone who only wears gold, it is amazing to see a piercing studio with such a vast array of jewelry options.:) thanks for your amazing work!

My 10-year-old had her ears pierced here. She was so nervous. The person who did the piercing was so kind and patient. He walked her through every step of the process and explained what was going to happen and what to expect. This is the best place to take a child to get their ears pierced because they make the experience very positive and not scary at all.

Came in for the 2-for-1 piercing deal. I called earlier in the day to book and it worked out well. Very happy with my piercings done by Mike!
