Came in after a good round of golf, had the pleasure of being served by Amelia. Great service, great food, great atmosphere. Would recommend going during weekdays too as they have all kinds of activities running as well.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Black Swan, and I must say it was a fantastic experience, thanks in large part to our server Amelia. From the moment we sat at the bar, Amelia greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel like VIPs. The atmosphere was very relaxed and intimate Amelia made it feel like our friends home. CAN NOT WAIT TO GO BACK!

I absolutely LOVE the Marble Rueben! It’s not available on Brant Street but I think you should offer it! So yummy! Also Elizabeth was an excellent server-hope to have her in the future!

Great food and service. Our bartender Amelia went over and beyond what was in the menu to make us happy. Service with a laugh and smile. Will be back!

Had the wings. Very small to be called jumbo wings. Did not taste fresh. Service was good though.

Went there last night was greeted had some drinks and the buffalo blue chesse chicken nuggets 10/10 delicious!

The music was great and the severs were friendly and on their games! I had a great time and enjoyed the environment definitely will be making this my new watering hole

We went on a weekday in the evening. The place was almost empty. While the host was very friendly and helpful but the quality of the food and the dullness of the place isn't helpful.

My sister and I enjoy a wonderful meal here to day. Biggest thank you to Wendy for the amazing service!

Went for a drag show brunch and it was so fun! What a blast! The place is nice and clean and the food was delicious. Our server could have been better but I'll definitely go back. I would like to see how it is on a weekend night

Hi, I'm new to Burlington, my son took me to lunch yesterday to the Black Swan (it was a Thursday they there Thursday special is) beef on a roll with dip and fries. It was amazing and a generous portion of beef and delicious. My son enjoyed his sandwich and salad.we had beer, and the house beer Swan was great!
We enjoyed wonderful service from JYL she guided us through the menu and beer selections. She was attentive, cheerful, and really enjoys her job. Jyl has been at the Black Swan since it opened this is a great place, and we will be going back.

Enjoyed a great night with friends. Wings were pretty good and the trivia night was really fun. Service was really good as well. Will be revisiting soon.

A casual, laid-back joint to hang out. They host live music regularly as well so if you are up for catching some local acts, this is your place. The food is fantastic too!

It was our first time through. Popped in for a quick pint with an extra 20 minutes we had. Bartender was awesome and made us feel very welcome. Good selection of scotch to go with the pint. Would definitely come back when in the neigbourhood. Cheers

Went on June 10th had a wonderful lunch on the patio, our first time there. We were very happy with the service and the menu selection, and shared our great experience with friends recommending they try it.
HOWEVER, went last night-June 24 2022 for dinner and it was VERY VERY poor. (how something so good can change in two weeks- is beyond me!) We were told we could only select from the Pub menu, (very limited, and not even a salad option) as they were in the processes of changing menu's. After ordering Nacho's (do not recommend them- no toppings- a bit of veg no meat of any kind, the cheese through the middle was cheese-wiz I think-just awful- with some real cheese just grated on top for 22$!) we discovered other guests were receiving fish and chips, salads and other options. Asked our server why? Her reply was- this was the menu I was instructed to give out-sorry. Service was very slow, she was nice enough but didn't seem to care. I Was disappointed when we asked about other foods, she didn't offer to change our orders to something other then what was on the Pub menu, but other guests inside and out were enjoying. Unless they change things, WE WILL NOT Return and We will tell other's DO NOT waste YOUR time and money -Very Disappointed and was ashamed to have brought friends to the place after raving how good it was.

Went tonight with my wife, and kids. It was easy enough to provide proof of intelligence, I mean, vaccination at the door. Thank you very much for keeping us safe. There's a ton a fake reviews here because they have made the choice to protect us by enforcing the vax mandates. Very nicely spread out and the food and service was outstanding. It was nice to finally get out after a two year absence from eating out. Keep up the good work.

Hi: Brought 2 friends for a meal this afternoon. All three of us ordered meals with fries. The fries were disgusting. Tasted like they had been fried in the same old oil ten times. My friend thought they were sweet potato fries, the colour was dark brown, almost burnt. All of us left the fries in our plates. We mentioned this twice to the server who said they are always like that. 1. Please do something about this, your food preparer needs training. 2. Please train you servers properly, especially if there is a reasonable complaint on how to deal with it. The server was very young so we gave her the benefit.

Great little pub! Service is always top-notch and the drinks are reasonably priced. A couple items on the food menu could be improved but their wings, chicken fingers, fries and breaded cheese curds are delicious.

Great spot for some darts! Had our second championship at the Swan last night and had a great time. Great wings, good beer, and good times!

Went here last night, staff are doing a great job checking vaccines, if you want to eat out you know it’s the law to produce a QR code, if you do not want to produce one stay home, the food was great I had the taco bowl highly recommend it, only downside two glasses of wine were $28 not worth the price. It was nice but I was surprised at the cost. Still you live and learn, it wouldn’t stop me going back but I certainly would ask for a wine list first. I do not mind paying a fair price. Just a shock it cost more than my meal

I absolutely love the food here, wings are so so so good! The staff are super friendly and really hardworking. I usually get food delivered and will not leave the house when it’s cold, blk swan is the only place I will drive to even at -20 to pick up my food!

We had dinner at Black Swan and had the best burger, onion rings and soup ever! The burger was huge and excellent. Great and efficient service. Will go back for sure.

Actually some of the worst food I've had. I'd be happier with McDonald's. At least McDonald's serves their food hot. This place is 0 out of 10. Definitely avoid.

We were with our one son, who had the hot Hoserburger, which was fantastic!
My husband had the club sandwich with a side salad and I had the chicken parm with fries. Dessert was an apple blossom with soft ice cream. We all had different requests which were all handled with ease, pleasantness and professionalism.
We will be back.

When going to Black Swan recently I had ordered a Black Swan Burger with battered onion rings and was disappointed by the quality of the food
Overall the food could have been better with the price in consideration.
The employees were respectful when communicating with us and were quicker then expected during stage 1.
Also keep in mind that this review was taken during phase 1 of Covid-19 Mesures and the experience could change when the government opens up the next mesures.
I would return to this restaurant when stage 2 or 3 of Ontario’s reopening plan arrives.
Also please note that small businesses and employees are struggling right now so please ensure to checkout restaurants.

The Yorkie bowl at the Black Swan is one of the best I’ve ever had! The chicken sandwich is also a family favourite. Be sure to stop in if in North Burlington.

Discovered this pub after joining a FB groups page which advertises their take out after the pandemic started. Been a hit every purchase and will continue to support.

Placed take-out orders for fish and chips over the phone, was ready in about 15 minutes. Everything was included with the order including vinegar and ketchup, and lots of napkins. I was very impressed with the look of the order when i opened up the take out box. A large piece of Haddock presented with a bit of parsley on top, the box included a really good tartar sauce, coleslaw, a lemon wedge and fries just the way i like them (not to thick, but not shoestring). Usually takeout fish and chips = soggy fish, not in this case.the batter (although a bit thick) stayed crispy. I definitely look forward to sitting down for a pint at what looks to be my new local.

A wonderful evening with an "acceptable" number of patrons which gave the place a little pub like atmosphere. TVs, people talking etc. I had the club with fries and it was fine, beer was cold and a fair Cov2 price. Yes we would go back just for the service she was great.

My husband and I popped in yesterday for lunch. Service was great and food was awesome. We will definitely be returning. The owner, Dave, came over and introduced himself as well and was very friendly. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!

This is the bast place in Burlington! With the best owner EVER! There is always something going on at the BLACK SWAN! BTW. I happen to work here, and it’s the best place I’ve worked in 30 years, I ask you folks to please check us out. I’m Deb, and I’d be so very happy to look after you!

Attended their Robbie Burns Night and for the price it was well worth it! To commemorate the 18th Century Scotsman's birthday the Black Swan welcomed a full house piping in and addressing the Haggis (meat, potato & turnip) to the poet's famous verses. The set dinner menu began with a haddock chowder, followed by a selection of haggis, stew or fish entrées. Regular menu items could be selected if desired. A tasting of three different types of scotch whisky followed dinner. Live entertainment was provided by, "The Colonial Boys, " who kept the spirit of the crowd high all evening. All this included for the very reasonable price of $25.00 per person. We had been invited to another such gathering at three times the price but opted for the Black Swan's event instead. Friendly staff, band and crowd made for a memorable dinner event and a lot of fun! Family friendly. Convenient parking on site. Drink responsibly.

Been here dozens of times. But my first for acoustic night. Great local talent. Non professionals practicing their talent. Calm, no pressure, relaxed environment. Quite entertaining. And great wings!

Went here for a friends birthday on Saturday. They were super accommodating with reservations. The place was very busy to my surprise. The food was excellent, and drink menu had variety. Recommended.

The Band you had here Friday January 17th, "One Row Back"was sensational.we would definitely come back and see this band.please bring them back!

Came here on AYCE wings night thursday and the leafs game.open mic night the vibe was nice.service was good until after eating just 20 wings between 2 people we went to order our next batch and were told the kitchen is closed.at 10: 15pm on thursday.the leafs were still playing (LA road trip) and the bar was full and they decided to close the kitchen without telling the staff or servers? While running a AYCE promotion. The bartender was nice but was not nice enough to drop some wings in the fryer but instead offered up beverage which he didn't need to do. We were there for wings and drinks but I appreciate his assistance. 2Star is for the bartender and open mic.

Had a great time for dinner! Food was great and the service was very friendly. Greeted at the door and immediately asked if we needed a high chair (we brought our son). Our server (Debbie) was fantastic! She was attentive and friendly. Overall, great food, great service, family friendly!

Dave and the folks at Black Swan recently hosted a private trivia night for a company team-building event and the team and process was wonderful. Dave was flexible and available throughout all communications, his team provided wonderful service, and the trivia MC was a hit. Food provided was served promptly as requested and was tasty. We would highly recommend the Black Swan for a corporate function - especially a trivia night!

My first time there the wings were half price it took a long time to be served for not only beer but the food and the food was good I would go back but they do need more servers than one person

I've been to a lot of bars all over the world. This is the best one that I have ever been to! The Black Swan is the greatest bar in the world! Also, they have the red Glutenberg, toughest one of the Berg's to find. Always puts a smile on my face when I walk through the door and everyone yells Mark!

As my home was without electricity due to a huge storm passing through I ventured out for a bite to eat. I was looked after extremely well by the barkeep Debbie. Good food recommendation too. The place was a tad busier than normal due to nearby outages but everything was grand. A really, really good Neighborhood bar. No Carla though, lol

First experience at The Black Swan yesterday. The ambience is very welcoming, love the layout! Great entertainment venue and Hailee Rose had the place rocking! Our server was pleasant and extremely attentive. The staff are a definite asset to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre, had far better pub grub everywhere else we have been. That being said, we would definitely give this gem another visit. Perhaps, it was an "off" day for the kitchen? We ordered nachos as an app. The serving was generous but lacked flavour. I ordered the Butter Chicken Yorkie, which was a disappointing serving size, very flat with little chicken. An added side to the dish, such as sauteed veggies would have completed the plate. The fish and chips were just okay. Chicken fingers were just average. For the price, we would have expected at least enjoyable dinners. I would be remiss if I did not thank the establishment for an otherwise fantastic time!

A Great Pub with genuine “local” feel and the number of regulars are a sign of the impact of new ownership. It certainly has had a positive turnaround. A must for anyone in the Burlington area!

Favourite pub in Burlington. The best wings and burgers in town. They have Great deals on each day of the week. The pub have really nice ambiance, service and food to spend some great time with friends.

The service was fantastic! They were very friendly, polite, great sense of humor. The interior was really clean and welcoming. The food came out hot, fresh, big portions and arrived quickly. Would certainly go back again

First off, I like to say this place has a chill/great vibe. The music is fantastic and service is great. Come here for a view of the sunset on their patio you will not be disappointed.

Service was awful! Couldn't even get a drink, although the restaurant was empty. We left after waiting for 20 minutes.

The Black Swan has delicious food at good prices. The fries are AWESOME! All the staff are extremely friendly especially Kim and Debbie.

I went to the black swan tonight for the first time and had a blast. I have never been and will totally be going back. Breaded cheese curds were amazing and the nachos were huge! My fish and chips were delicious. I had two friends with me and my friend ordered the chicken pot pie and wasn't that impressed. Drinks were great. Service was quick until around 11pm (we got there at 7). It was karaoke night and the place was packed once that got started at 930. Overall well done!

Service was great. We had the wings and they were fresh and hot. I didnt like the one seasoning (lemon pepper) but that's just taste preference. But the dry parm rub was delicious. Though they need to do something about the greasy fries. It is under new ownership. The new owner was very attentive. If you havent been in a while, make sure you go back and give it another try under the new management.

Large pub, used to like very much till a new bar tender came along! I ordered a pina collada and she said what size glass do you usually have? I said if we are lucky we get a large one! She poured the cocktail into a small glass and Threw the rest, that was in the blender down the sink have not and will not go back!

Great food clean and allot of fun if you like Darts poker or pool. By the way prices are good as well not to expensive with a good menu
