Lynworth was absolutely fantastic! He was personable and professional and helped me choose blinds that best fit my space. He had tons of samples and options for me to look through. Highly recommend having him come to your home for a design consultation if you’re in the market for window coverings!

I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Lynworth came out to give me an estimate and kindly came out again to meet with my contracter to ensure the blinds would be exactly what I wanted and that the contractor would install the trim accordingly (the trim on the top had to be flat to accommodate the valance). Then he had Jason measure and install my blinds. Jason did an outstanding job. I wanted my faux wood blinds to be inside the trim. (Why hide the trim?) The valance looked like a continuation of the trim. Both men were a pleasure to work with.
I picked Blinds to Go because their blinds don't have a button to raise and lower the blinds. With my arthritis, I didn't want to have to push a button.

I have always thought this place was a rip off, got blinds and the sizes where wrong and the two ladies who work at the back desk, need to learn how to treat there customers, they are rude and should not be working in this place.

The blinds we’re all supposed to be the same length, but arrived different lenghts, one of them re-tracks on its own, and all three of them were covered in clumps of glue from the manufacturing process. These were expensive blinds, and I would be very reluctant to recommend Blinds To Go to anyone or shop there again myself.

Very friendly staff and installer. Some issue with the product workmanship on the valances. Manufacturer cheaped out on the fabric finishing of them. Our installer immediately brought it to our attention and is being addressed. Only day 1, so far so good.

The service was good. The length of the dining room blinds was cut incorrectly by roughly 6 inches, their fault not mine. Took them back and problem was corrected right away.

I had a bad experience at blind to go after paying 50% I waited for almost 3 months to install and later on I discovered 1 out of my 5 roller shade/ blinds was installed wrong! I contacted the company and they schedule Timothy to come June 23 it's late afternoon I called is Timothy coming she answered he is not book to come to my place they schedule again today and just now I called and the lady answered yes you're schedule between 2 to 8pm and she called backed and told me it was rejected. I will never use this company again very bad experience!

They wanted to charge me for half my order before even coming out to measure. After pushing back, they agreed to only charge the $45 measurement fee. A guy came out, measured, and that was week ago. I'm sure someday they will get back to me with their quote but it's been a week and I've already ordered with a more reputable company that values my business. Brutal, would never ever use this company.

The staff at the store are pleasant and our initial purchase experience went well.

Shortly thereafter a 25% off sale came into effect and we called Jon and he said that he would call head office and let us know by the next day if we are entitled to the discount. We didn't hear back from Jon, therefore, we called Jon back to follow up. Jon said that we are not entitled.

Consequently, we called head office and reiterated the same explanation that we told Jon; that is had we known that there was going to be a 25% discount, we would have waited to make the purchase. We also mentioned that the invoice states that if we find a lower price the price would be at the very least be matched. Head office was very courteous and immediately gave us the discount.

We picked up the blind on Saturday and Jon processed a discount of $1.10 instead of $111.10. Luckily, we noticed Jon's error while we were still in the car. Otherwise, it would have been a 1.5 hour there and back.

We received two emails specifying refund receipt but neither contained the refund? The receipts were the original purchase receipt

Therefore, our overall experience is average which reflects on the sales person Jon and not on the store and/or company. We bought from Blinds To Go in the past and our experience was excellent.

The in-store staff were excellent in assisting me to find the right style blinds for my windows. Very professional and efficient in estimating the cost. The blinds are a great value for the money. Ben the installer is knowledgeable, prompt and communication was excellent. I will definitely go back to blinds to go for window coverings in the future. I was told blinds would be ready in a week or more but had them back in just a few days. All 3 of my blinds are now just as good as new.

Jon Patrick was so patient with me as I changed my mind a couple times before placing the order! Did not rush me showed me options! Everything promised came through! They are beautiful exactly what I was thinking!

One of the two blinds we ordered arrived damaged. Was told it would take one week for a replacement. It took almost 4 weeks and very poor communication in the interim. Happy with the product overall, but service is lackluster

Top-down, bottom-up blinds are great for privacy while allowing in light and the view. When they go up at night they don’t need to be cleated. After a year, one wasn’t staying up on its own. Took it back to Blinds to Go. They fixed it in a few days, no questions asked, no charge!

ORDER # 634279 (Stephen Hosier) …
Our order was completed in a timely manner and included installation! The installer was great but was given a defective track for our patio door blind. Had to reschedule a second install with a replacement track. The replacement track was installed but the valance that was shipped was supplied too short! We had to now wait to schedule a third install to correct the short valance and we are still waiting! None of this was the fault of the installer who was as frustrated as we are! This was my first experience using Blinds to Go and will likely be my last!

Update: ORDER # 634279 (Stephen Hosier) …The third install was of little value as well as the installer was given yet another valance that was too short even though his request was for one that was significantly longer! Fourth install was finally successful. The installer was terrific but dealing with the store was useless. I tried to ask for an earlier appointment for this 5 minute job was abruptly told that an appointment nearly a month out was all that was available …. When I asked to speak to a store manager or supervisor I was told that “WE DON’T HAVE ONE”!

Thank you to Tim, our installer for getting this looked after for me. Earlier I said this will likely be my last time using Blinds To Go … now you can rest assured that it will be the last!

We ordered new blinds for our new home and the whole experience has been nothing short of a hassle. After selecting blinds, we paid for and scheduled a measurement and install date. The installer came, measured and recommended the correct blinds for our home. The store sent 3 wrong blinds back to the installer. We needed to reschedule and have another install date made. The installer returned again, this time with 1 blind with an oil stain and 2 more with wrong measurements. I contacted the store and head office and was told there was no manager available and that they would look into these inconveniences. No call back. I am still waiting for 3 blinds we ordered in March. We are extremely displeased with the level of customer service here and the fact the we paid for a service they failed to deliver on 3 times. Go elsewhere, there are better options.

I ordered one vertical blind (replacement) july 6 2021. I was told it would take about a week so I call jJuly 12 and I was told it was not in. I went online and spoke to a customer representative and was told my order was not sent in till July 12 (I guess my inquiry call remind them to submit it). My completion date was now July 24 and it was in the store July 27… so I am really disappointed with this outcome (I’ve bought window coverings from here for 2 big windows and a patio door that took less time to get). Very very disappointing!

I'm writing this review so it is known what my experience with Blinds to Go is like.

This review is actually a ZERO star but in order to post this review one star was needed to be given.

I'm not the only one with these type if issues - read the reviews to see similar issues.

My time with Blinds to Go is still ongoing and I'm in my 10th month with no resolution. Our home was built in 6 months.

Granted there were a couple of lockdowns but still our time with Blinds to Go well exceeded the 6 to 8 weeks we were told it would take.

The entire process is frustrating and a HUGE disappointment.

FIRST, our issues are with both motorized cascade blinds (#2 & #3).
-#2, the protective plastic cover over the charger cord was broken and could cause a fire hazard.both #2 & #3 returned to factory
-#2 & #3 reinstalled but #3 now squeaks
-#2 & #3 reinstalled but #3 was never fixed and now #2 squeaks
- "new" #2 & #3 installed but both have a clug noise and #3 when closed is on an angle and is not aligned with #2
- #2 is squeaking again
- I was told first #2 & #3 would be ready in a couple of weeks
- now I'm told #2 & #3 would be installed same time as hinges as the bottom bar was supposedly on backorder.so another month
I can't believe I'm the only customer who has these problems & delays.it's ridiculous to say the least

SECOND, both bedroom shutters have the hinges (the same hinges you find in kitchen cupboards.it's ridiculous) visible from the street - looks cheap and unprofessional. I've never seen shutters installed this way. If I was told when I ordered the shutters, I would have said NO and gone elsewhere. To make matters worse, one set of shutters doesn't close properly. So first need to determine which slats are to big, then remove and shave off a miniscule amount so the slat closes properly. Too bad the factory doesn't check products before shipping out.

We paid just over $4,600 for terrible products.

Solution I was given is to have hinges professionally painted white.

In the 10th month, blinds #1 now make a clank noise and some of the blinds have now separated with privacy being compromised. When I advised BTG, I'm told the customer service person is supposedly off on sick leave. With BTG being such a large company, you can't tell me someone can't step in to get this mess resolved.

I was offered 25% compensation. I wanted all window coverings removed and a refund. Store manager said yes to a refund but then canceled and offered 30%. POOR, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I wish I never walked in the Blinds to Go store on August 5th, 2020.and today is May 28 2021 and I still have junk installed on my windows and I want the junk removed and a TOTAL REFUND!

Firstly for costumer service. If you purchase blinds there watch the numbers in the bill closely, the associate lady kept adding costs in my bill: She increased the installation fee, I just noticed it later when comparing the estimate we got before with the last bill, she called us and add $150 for a modification in the blinds cassette that supposed to be included already in the estimate. After two weeks of purchase I got a message from the fabricator telling that the blinds were ready and that I had to call the store to book the installation. The closest day I got was for 3 weeks after my call (we were told for this lady that after the measurements our blinds won't take more that 2 weeks to be installed that became 5 weeks). One day before the installation day I received a message confirming my appointment so I took a day off of work to be available for them, but what a surprise this horrible costumer service lady called the same day of the installation half an hour before the person who installs the blinds was supposed to be in my house to tell me that we have to reschedule the installation for next week because the blinds were delivered in the store located in Kitchener not in London were we made the purchase. After a big fight, a huge frustration and a call to costumer service they agree to cancel the installation and refund 10% of the purchase price for damage. Then this lady called me to give the return price, she charged the measurements (fair enough) but did not return the taxes charged for the installation. So watch your money! The blinds were good though we were happy with the results.

Well.
It's one thing to have a set of blinds repaired.
It's another thing altogether to rehang them and - wonder of wonders! - to discover that they work as smoothly as they did when we first purchased them back in 2013!
Allow me to toss a bouquet to the Blinds To Go personnel:
• For the outstanding repair work
• For honouring the lifetime guarantee without any red tape
Tell you what, Blinds To Go:
Keep up THIS level of professionalism, and you're gonna give the blinds & shutters industry a good name!

I placed my order over the phone and the lady did not get my one order right and then when I called I expected for them to take my old blinds and give me the correct blinds and if there was extra charge because they were 10 inch longer I was OK with paying the difference but that’s not how it went they said they cannot do anything for the blind that they made a mistake with so I was out of $100 and then they said I had to buy new blinds but would give me 50% off (And when I had purchased the blinds the first time they were on sale for 25% they did not match that price the second time) I was not happy at all with their customer service it was their mistake and they would not refund me and I had to buy a new set I will never buy from this company again

I purchased roller blinds. During the installation the installer told me many times that they were very poor quality. He did not use dropsheets and prepare the room for concrete drilling. If you were having a Painter do painting, they would prepare the work area?

Consequently, I have had to clean my open concept livingroom, diningroom and kitchen, like someone dumped sand on my entire place; furnishings, floors, baseboards, electronics, etc.
Once the drilling was completed the blinds had a flaw in them and had to be returned and re-ordered. I am now waiting for the replacement blinds.
I am NOT a happy customer and I am concerned that I have made a bad purchase.

Four star blinds, one star customer service & attention to detail. We are mostly happy with our end result but it was a bumpy ride to get here. It took one month for our blinds to come in which was okay, but one blind was cut too short so we had one window on the front of our house missing a blind, they did not include a bracket cover for the outside mount blind on our front door so we had to stare at an ugly bracket until it was rectified, and a fastener to secure the bottom of the outside mount was not included. At first this was no big deal, we were told when mistakes are made you are made top priority to correct the issues and finish your job. However it took longer for these small mistakes to be corrected than it did for the original order to come in. Our sales person was off sick multiple times throughout our project which is fine, but our information was not passed on so our project sat on hold each time until they were back to work. Now that the blinds are completed two of the blinds are not cut straight so when fully extended there is a small angle at the bottom. Overall we would not work with blinds to go again and will definitely find a different company to work with for our next purchase

We purchased 4 top down bottom up privacy blinds 5 years ago. We have not had any issues with them until a month ago. The top down feature would not hold on 1 of them. I returned it to the Wellington Rd store in London. They were very helpful and sent them to Montreal to be repaired. They said it would take a week. 6 days later they called to say they were ready to be picked up. Great customer service.

I am very impressed with the customer service I received from Chantelle! She helped me right when I walked into the store. I was pretty indecisive about which fabric to order and she was helpful and patient. She is very knowledgeable about the products. I ended up ordering cordless roman shades and the price was very reasonable. My order was ready quickly and the installer, Tim was available to install them right away and did a great job. My roman shades went up today and they look perfect! I recommend this store for many reasons. Customer service, price, quality and the warranty is a great bonus too. I will be back whenever I need window coverings. Thanks for the great experience.

Very poor experience. Had to have blinds redone twice - sales staff advised me not to buy blinds this time of year because there is no training at the factories and lots of students. Wouldn’t shop here again.
