I wish Dr. Turchet hadn't sold his practice to BWDG and I wish his patients had been told they'd be seen by someone else when booking appointments. I don't think the two offices had the same philosophy. During the pandemic, I went to BWDG because an inlay had come off and needed to be glued back on. The first thing the new dentist said to me was that the inlay should be replaced with a crown -which annoyed me because I prefer to keep as much of the natural teeth as possible and the inlay was in good shape; it just needed to be glued back on. Then I don't know if she put too much glue or what, but the bite was higher and to get the bite back to normal she proceeded to shave off an overlay on the opposing molar and pretty much ruined it in the process. I should have filed a complaint at the time and had them pay to replace the damaged overlay. I don't know if my experience was an anomaly, but it was enough to break my trust and decide not to set foot there ever again.

Absolutely superb care and service. Dr. David Ho is a wonderful person and an amazing practitioner who always goes beyond the call of duty to look after me. The receptionists are warm, kind and attentive. The overall atmosphere is a unique blend of efficiency, competency and comfort. You cannot ask for more from your dentist. Highly reccomended!

I came in with a loose upper wire retainer and the dental group was incredibly helpful and friendly! Scheduled me in to see someone who could assist me within 30 minutes of my arrival. Highly recommend!

Called twice to request dental photos, but the lady who answered the phone was impatient. She promised to send the photos but I still haven't received them.

Needed to reschedule an appt and they aren’t taking new appts till fall. Such a disappointment.

It’s probably not a great idea to tell you how amazing the entire team is in this practice since more clients means longer waiting times but credit where credit is due! They are über competent, kind, compassionate and everything else you would want in a dental practice! I will never leave…. Thanks to the entire team for making every visit a positive one!

Filling a side cavity here causes a disaster in my left teeth. I went to this place to fill a side cavity for two left teeth back in Nov 2020, one filling was fine, while the other has pain since the first treatment, even after 6 follow ups. I followed the dentist's suggests closely every visit as I was told that they can fix it and this happens sometime. However after 6 times of refilling and polishing different teeth, I ended up with three painful teeth on my left side. I have to avoid to use my left teeth due to the pain. I have X-ray results to show that there are extra white lines in my painful teeth after their treatments.
Some examples of dealing with them.
1. In my first visit, the dentist became angry as I told the dentist that I fell the filling is a bit high when the dentist asked how I feel. The dentist said "but my equipment test result is fine". It turned out the I have strong pain in that teeth and filling was high.
2, I was not informed that they made a plan for treating 11 teeth with a cost over 3K in my first few visits, though I only asked for filling of two teeth. I have checked several times with the reception, but I was always told the total cost in the plan was around 800 or 600. Eventually I figured out and stopped any treatment on other teeth.

My first dentist in Canada. The result was excellent and still works flawlessly after almost two decades. Thank you!

I’m new to the neighbourhood & to this practice. The team is professional, knowledgeable and good at making patients feel at ease/cared for. Communication is transparent and pitched at a level I can understand. I highly recommend this practice to others based on my visits so far. Special shout out to Eunice who looked after me today. Thank you! My mouth feels sparkly and clean.

25 years of being a patient at this dentist office, and oddly enough I actually look forward to the appointments because of the personal trusted relationships built over time. The front office staff are welcoming, the overall experience is exceptional and always has been. I look forward to seeing Kandy who makes the cleaning appts pleasant, so much so I had to hug her at the end. Dr. Ho and Karrette are down to earth, efficient, welcoming and funny. (If that's ok to say for a dentist office review). Always a pleasure & would definitely recommend.

I have reached conclusion that this dental establishment cannot be trusted. If you live nearby, coming here for routine scaling is A OKAY. But I would not purchase any service beyond this basic routine.

In addition, the hygienist would not be thorough and do a great job. Do not expect anything great. 6/10 is what you should expect for routine cleaning.

As a pro, some front desk staff are extremely polite and diligent. I was really shocked.overall, a very skippable establishment.

The best dental care I have ever experienced! Professional, courteous, and friendly staff made me feel like family. My case was a bit complicated and went through multiple dental procedures and I almost gave up on fixing my smile. I wish I met doctor Rotella sooner but I’m very grateful for everything he is done for me. It was a life changing experience to say the least. I got dental implants/ major restoration. One of my front teeth was about to get extracted and he saved my teeth. He always pays attention to details.and he is very patient and extremely professional.
The front desk people are very welcoming and they have always worked with my busy schedule. They make you feel like a family.

Bloor West Dental Group is a truly professional company. The staff, from the dentists, hygienists to the front desk personnel are pleasant, caring and make you feel special. 15 years ago my husband and l moved 100 km out of Toronto to live in the country and we still come to Toronto to have our dental work done here. The care that everyone of the staff take to make the experience
pleasant is the primary reason. Kudos to everyone!

These guys were amazing! I am terrified of the dentist and I. Just recovering from cancer treatment. Their covid protocols were fantastic (I walked out of two dental offices who were clearly not taking covid seriously) and they worked really hard to make me feel comfortable. I would recommend them any day!

My family has been with Bloor West Dental Group for over 20 years. Everyone in the office has always been the most caring and professional. Today my daughter's boyfriend, a US citizen, saw Dr. Ho due to a dental emergency. His comments were: "I am not used to service like this! Dr. Ho was amazing in what he did and explained to me! And everyone was just so kind! "

I had an amazing experience for my visit, the office looks beautiful. Not to mention during COVID, they are using great safety measures in the office. All staff are welcoming and amazing.

Bloor West Dental Group has been absolutely incredible. Dr. Rotella and his team were great to work with. I had a dental accident, knocking out 2 of my front teeth and chipping another 2. They were attentive to my needs and addressed any concerns with having veneers put in. Not only do I love the final results but I was completely confident the entire way through.

Fantastic and caring staff that really care about their patients. Also, the office is stunning!

Dr. Chin and team were amazing when interacting with my 10 year old daughter. She is terrified of having any dental work done, and after her first visit here she was calm and relaxed. She has asked me to make this her regular dental care office. Dr. Chin was great with her. She showed my daughter what tools she was going to use and the procedure. It was very comforting to see. I'll be booking future cleanings for all my kids here. Thanks for being so welcoming.

I love the professional, cutting edge and warm dental care, the friendly staff and the ambiance. It's like being treated in your own home. I highly recommend this clinic.
