My dog has been treated with care and compassion during and after her surgery. They answered all questions promptly and I found the vets, receptionist, technicians to be very approachable and knowledgeable. I felt the pricing was very reasonable and overall, I would recommend Bloormill vet highly. My only concern was that I took her in for 8 am and heard nothing all day until I phoned at 2: 45. I wish someone had given me an update during the day,
Very helpful, kind, and caring towards my kitten. I also appreciate that they are very transparent about pricing, as we did not have this experience with previous vet. Thank you!
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff always fit us in when we need it they’re just great and my dog Moxie actually doesn’t mind going there lol she loves them all
Truly caring and capable staff. From receptionists to technicians, from assistants to doctors, BloorMill provides the very best healthcare for all our pets.
For the last nine years I have been taking my cat Tiger for all of her check ups to BloorMill. I must say I was always pleased with the in depth examination Tiger received. The staff at BloorMill is always extremely welcoming and makes your pet feel as comfortable as possible. Tiger’s appointments were usually with Dr. Mak. Dr. Mak is very professional and always answers all your questions. She has always done an extremely thorough examination with Tiger. She is so gentle when handling your pet and really makes any animal feel like they are in good hands. Two weeks ago I had to put Tiger down because her lungs were giving up on her. It was very hard on my daughter and myself but one thing I can say, is that I am so happy it was done at BloorMill. The two nurses that were there helping out were amazing! Super nice, calming, and gentle. I think it was Rachel and Vanessa. Dr. Mak, Rachel and Vanessa did an exceptional job at keeping Tiger calm and making the whole process seem quite tolerable. After the appointment my daughter and I were reassured that we left Tiger in good hands! Thank you Dr. Mak and everyone at BloorMill for taking care of Tiger and for the lovely card! ️
BloorMill Vet is always very caring, kind and accommodating. I appreciate the professionalism of the care and the transparency of the costs, making each visit a less stressful experience. The staff is always open to questions and give knowledgeable answers. I recommend this Veterinary establishment to my own clients as well as family and friends.
Everyone here was very nice, the vet techs and vet were helpful with my hamster. I'm so glad that I found this Veterinary Hospital. I highly recommend it.
Thank you for taking such great care of both Beatrix and Luna since 2013. We're moving to Nova Scotia soon and, unfortunately, that's too far to travel for veterinarian services. Thank you all again
Excellent veterinarian Staff was friendly and made our nervous cat feel comfortable. Dr Mak was fantastic and price was very reasonable. Highly recommend this clinic
I am very happy to entrust my four cats into the hands of the true professionals, warmhearted doctors, nurses and receptionists of the BloorMill Hospital. Thank you for the excellent pet care!
One of the best vet clinics. I take both of my cats here and they’re absolutely amazing, staff are very caring and understanding. The doctor is amazing! They know exactly how to handle animals and comfort them.
I made an appointment for my dog about a possible eye infection. The vet was kind and put in a prescription for his eye. My dog gets stressed out when I take him to the vet and this way was so much easier for my pup.
Unfortunately my experience here isn't as pleasant as other people. I went in for the consultation. 1. I had to wait about 20 min (The appointment was at 4: 45 but I could see the doctor after 5pm) while my dog was shaking and scared to be in the hospital. 2. While I was waiting, which was after her appointment time, one of the nurses/assistants came out asking me what my previous vet's hospital name was so that they could find the email regarding my dog's medical history. This seems like not only were they not ready to examine my dog on time but shows the poor professionalism. 3. I meant to mention my dog's tail condition but it slipped away while I was talking to the vet about other stuff. I sent the photos to the hospital and asked whether the doctor can advise on that when the doctor calls me for the blood result. I find the time frame was reasonable to request this which was four days after the appointment and before getting the follow up call. (It's not like a few weeks have passed after seeing the doctor.)
However the response was that they can't determine by looking at the photo and I need to book another one and they need to charge it. I'm not blaming the doctor for not being able to assess through photos but aren't they supposed to examine thoroughly while they are doing the consultation? I thought the meaning and the purpose of the consultation was to look carefully at the entire body of the pet and tell the owner if there's any issues. And my dog's discoloration of the tail was pretty obvious and it was hard to miss it. However, they added that it's my responsibility to let the doctor know therefore, they need to charge the service once again.
I'm not sure this is how all other vet clinics are run but honestly I wasn't satisfied with my experience. I really had high hopes at this place but unfortunately it was disappointing.
I will say the staff/vets at this office are very nice. However the covid theatrics need to end. Calling from the parking lot, going to the side door pushing the bell, waiting, taking my anxious dog in without her humans for comfort, going back to my car, waiting for a call to give update, being told to come around to the front door, ring the bell there, staff comes out to assist, goes back in gets my bill and POS machine, I pay my nearly $500.00 bill standing outside like a leper. Staff member goes back in retrieves our dog and makes me wonder do i switch to a vet that DOESN'T do this nonsense?
BloorMill Veterinary Hospital has treated my cats and myself with great care and extraordinary compassion over the years. Animals exhibit little, if any, fear entering or leaving this excellent hospital. Costs have always been within reason and they have never pushed unneeded goods or services to me. I highly recommend them.
Very friendly staff. Easy to book an appointment. And they really take care of your baby to meet their needs. I will continue coming to this location even after moving to further west
Great vet! Very caring, takes time to explain everything and answer questions. Wait time is short since the schedule is properly managed. You can tell the pets come first here.
Amazing vet! Everyone loves their dog, but I LOVE my dog [Nike] with my entire heart and soul. I took Nike to a few vets [in Etobicoke] and they all made me feel like the only thing that mattered was charging me and charging me a lot. One vet even refused to answer a simple question over the phone, unless I brought Nike in. I told them I'd never go back, because it was obvious what mattered to them. I then found BloorMill Vet, they're absolutely phenomenal, they truly care and very reasonable when it comes to cost. Great people! Has always been a really positive experience. Highly recommend them!
My late sister went there with her dog and she loved their service so o took one of my cats and I found that their were very professional I was very happy with their service as well.
I've brought all my dogs there for 12 years. I absolutely love the place. Very professional and extremely kind, patient and caring towards my dogs. I'd recommend BloorMill Vet to anyone.
I bring my cats, KiKi & Mishkee to this office. The staff there are knowledgeable, comforting and incredibly professional. Even when I simply have a question via phone, the staff go above and beyond to make sure I am fully informed and put at ease. I know my babies are in good hands whenever we have to make that stressful visit to the vet. Keep up the great work! Highly recommended to any pet parents looking for care for their animals.
This team of professionals really cares deeply about the family members you put in their care and they do their best to give all that needs to be given in order to provide the best care possible!
The vets are knowledgeable and caring. Dr. Wise always takes the time to explain things thoroughly and my dog really loves visiting the vet - something I never thought would happen! I never feel like I ask too many questions or am rushed out of an appointment and I always feel satisfied that my dog is being well taken care of! He is reactive and barks quite a bit but the staff really know how to handle him and always make arrangements for safe arrival (such as scheduling an appointment when there are no other dogs around). It makes me happy that I don't have to worry about him while he is there. Highly recommended!
I am very disappointed. I scheduled an appointment for my dog weeks ago for her second round of vaccines. They called to confirm her appointment and I scheduled the day off work. We arrived for our appointment they said they have no record of her and we were turned away. Very unprofessional and a waste of our time so I would not recommend or refer to Bloor Mill veterinary clinic in the future.
If I could give this Vet a 0 star I would. After 2 days of my dog being in a diabetic crisis and NO ONE FROM THIS VET advised me. He has passed away. I had to take my dog to the animal hospital and them telling me its too late to do anything that if I came sooner something could of been done. This vet is the worst Vet by far and I have been going here for over 10 years and all they did was make money off of me.
I'm so happy I found this veterinary office! My cat always comes home calm and happy after his check-ups! I get the distinct impression that my pets health and happiness takes precedent over charging for unnecessary procedures ️ 5/5 every time!
Such an amazing place, we’re so happy with all our visits since getting our puppy through neutering. We will continue to have them be our Vet for as long as we live here! Very nice staff and quick response to messages or questions!
After being told i was going to be with Dr. Weiss i was switched to Dr. Mac at the last second during my arrival.
I was given rounds of antibiotics that did nothing for my rabbit and the last round that we determined did absolutely nothing the first time was prescribed again. I was given many misinformations about care and upkeep for my rabbit and it was evident Dr. Mac had no idea what was wrong with my rabbit, diagnosing her with "possible" Pasturella and then saying we should do x-rays but changing her mind again and saying "oh shes young so MAYBE its not her teeth? " She then proceeded to as for more tests like Urine and Blood Work after telling me having hay in her littler box (all professionals reccomend that you do have hay) is a bad idea and its not helping just making it worse. After having so many issues and be out of 350$ dollars i decided to give her up for foster but my foster had a better idea to take her to a PROFESSIONAL that determined she had SYPHILIS and was incorrectly and uselessly given THREE ROUNDS OF ANTIBIOTCS THAT DID ABSOLUTLY NOTHING BECAUSE OF IT BEING SUCH AN EXTREAMLY LOW DOSE that it wouldnt even help a baby rabbit!
My vet also advised that she did not need any other tests to confirm and just 3 seperate 20 dollar injections for her syphillis after 3 months of NO PRESCRIBED PAIN MEDS AND MISDIAGNOSIS it is beyond me how my rabbit recovered in 2 weeks time under my Vet at Jameson animal hospital.
Thank god for Dr.munn and his expertise. And thank You bloormill for running me out of money and almost having to put her up for adoption. Wish i could say they gave me at least half my money back after all these issues such as
MISDIAGNOSIS, zero prescribed pain meds throughout and 3 rounds of antibiotics that were useless and misinformstion on food and care but they refused. Also i would like to add my vet follows up with their paitents and allows the owners to come into their establishment to have one on one information spoken about in person rather than being dismissed over the phone.
Lack of knowledge on basic medical diagnoses is incorrigible! Very unprofessional and should stay out of the exotic field of medical advice and practition
Our dog had a surgery to remove a mass from her eye a few weeks back. We couldn't be happier with the staff and the doctor. All instructions were clear, and we knew our dog was in good hands! The surgery went well, and the doctors saw her back a few times to monitor the healing, and were very patient and safe when deciding on when to have her stitches removed. The staff is super friendly and professional, and the clinic has very reasonable prices compared to the rest. Dr. Maggie Mak did the surgery, and we are extremely pleased with the results and the care our dog got during and after the procedure!
The staff at Bloor Mill are so kind and caring they take time to listen to you over the phone instead of just quickly dismissing you this goes for all staff. Dr Mac and dr. Weiss our very knowledgeable in their fields and offer more than fair pricing especially for bunnies.
They helped my rabbit Aurora who's 6 months, gave me a urine analysis, her medications, and a very thorough check-up including a nail trim for what in my personal opinion is more than a fair price compared to most vets in the GTA. I probably paid less here then I would have for just for being video chatted at one other veterinarian clinic.
So much praise goes to Dr. Mac for extensive knowledge and kindness amd her team. I will always be a client here for any future animals and including am upcoming spay for Aurora. Much love!
We have used this but since the day we got our cat RJ to the day he died. We called the bed 3 days prior to R j's death We were told that we would have to way until the Wednesday to see a vet. But the secretary decided it tell us about the mob I'll bet that they use the mobile vet just to come to our home was going to be $300 that's not on top of anything they do for our cat so in turn The Visit would have been over a $1000. Then we are told to go to the emergency vegetarian clinic but what they don't tell you is what time they open they open at 6: 00 p.m. One hour prior to 6: 00 p.m. My cat unfortunately died where I could have had him seeing a bet which is 2 minutes down the road for our house and yet they were too busy to see a cat that was an absolute emergency. And disgusted with them and on top of everything not once since the day of my cat's death have they been called and showed any remorse or to ask to see how hes doing I'm disgusted and Horrified at the fact that are they doing this for money or do they care about their animals because after mine kept passing I'm not entirely sure.
Love this clinic! They take such good care of our 4 babies! They always try to squeeze us in for any last minute emergencies! Highly recommend BloorMill
The BEST! They go above and beyond every single time. Love the staff; both doctors are extremely knowledgeable and just excellent vets. Highly recommend!
The Staff at BloorMill ALWAYS go above and beyond to make Kaiser comfortable on our visits. Compared costs to other Vet Offices, BloorMill is super affordable, with quality care, compassion and Professionalism. I wouldn’t take Kaiser anywhere else! I might add, they are COVID-19 conscious and diligent during Office visits.my hats off to them!
This place is amazing i have brought my rabbits here many times. They have a wonderful staff that is extremely polite and helpful. The facility is super clean. The vet is super friendly and knowledgeable. This is a must go to hospital if you have any type of animal.
The staff are absolutely excellent. I never had a pet before, and decided to come here given the positive reviews. As a new pet owner, I always have a ton of questions, and the staff is extremely helpful and they take the time to give me thorough responses (even over the phone, consulting with the vet as necessary). It is clear they love animals - they are always very tender and affectionate with my cat. I’ve been several times now, and am very happy with my choice to come here.
They truly do care. I had to accept to give the Euthanasia to my 9-year-old dog. It’s tough for us. All staff were very kind and supportive. Days after coming back, I received a card from this hospital. They even write my dog’s name in Chinese! It’s so thoughtful. Thank you. Your kindness means a lot to us.
I truly believe this veterinary hospital cares for all of their patients. They went above and beyond my expectations to care for my little dwarf hamster, even when they didn't need to. I couldn't thank the wonderful Doctors, and warm workers enough for all they have done for my hamster.
Great doctors and staff. Friendly service. Very helpful. Only thing is I wish they were open later and weekends. In general, very good small vet clinic in Etobicoke/East Mississauga area.
Don’t waist your time, and definitely if you care for your pet they deserve better care than what this clinic can offer. Unexperienced and uneducated vets and VERY poor customer service and client retention. They push unnecessary tests, do not listen to what you have to say about your own animal that you know better than anyone. I have struggled with this clinic for a few years and have been brought to tears and have decided that I will no longer continue to give them my business and neither should you.
The technicians are great but the Dr.s hardly touched my dog and are always pushing unnecessary test and redoing old tests. They are just interested in your wallet. Switched to a new vet and they were able to identify and treat my dog without the tests. The new vet spent more time in one appointment examining and interacting with my dog then Bloor Mill spent in the last year combined.
Great vet clinic! Dr. Wise was friendly, nice, attentive and did not try to upsell me on things/procedures my dog did not need. She worked within my budget and took her time on the exam and to explain treatment choices. Pricing was very reasonable. I definitely recommend BloorMill Vet Hospital.
