The dispatch is inhumane and terrible. The travail alone to talk to such resentful individuals and the exorbitant prices should make anyone rethink the decision even in an emergency.

This company, their taxis and the management don't even deserve a one star.
As a tourist in Ottawa, I ended up lost somewhere near the Parliament and took a cab to drive me back. Upon paying, the driver (n 397) insisted that he will not be taking coins but rather a large bill, which I gave him. Without giving me the change he just said goodbye. I then understood that he only wanted the large bill to keep the change and when I asked for that change, he insulted me and asked me to leave right away, without even giving me my receipt.
I sent an email and called (I actually need that receipt for my job) and only received an automated answer from Thomas Hodges ; and it goes without saying that they only answer the phone one in while.
Meanwhile BlueLine taxi drivers are shamelessly scamming their passengers by not even asking if their passengers need their change and with the complicity of their management. What is more, it seems they are clearly evading due taxes (otherwise why would the driver not give me my receipt?)

After booking a large truck with the app and specifying that we were 4 adults with 8 suitcases, a driver, Hani, showed up with a sedan. We split up to go to the train station, but Hani didn't know how to get back to pick up my sister-in-law and me. Very bad experience. My father had to go with him and drive him home to pick us up and take us to the station. The bill was high and so was the service. We almost missed the train. If the drivers aren't up to it, don't make them work

We waited 54 minutes on a hot afternoon for a cab that NEVER showed up. Driver called and said “I am here, where you”? He was not there but at wrong location. They kept saying when I phoned for update driver would arrive in 5/10 minutes. After 54 minutes we have up and walked a 25 minute walk back to our hotel. Absolute worst cab service I have ever had. Even in bustling capitals in Europe. Worst city cab I have ever experienced. Take my advice and book another cab company in Ottawa, or take an Uber.

Stupid service. Booked multiple times but did not arrived at pickup point. No messages. No calls from driver. Spoke to customer service they claimed driver was there. Just stupid response. Will not recommend anyone.

Took a ride with them to the airport. The driver took unnecessary detours twice, and I was charged 20% extra comparing to their quote… plus the driver didn’t turn on AC, making the car felt like a sauna room. 4 stars for them showing up and finishing the trip.

I took a taxi from the airport on Nov 29. To the suite hotel. The taxi number is 506.

The driver was extremely rude and didn't even said Hey before the ride. He didn't stop at a stop sign at the Ottawa airport.
On my way back, I took a taxi from the Company "Capital", I was really impress about there great service and positive attitude.

Taxi in Ottawa is a hit and miss. Sometimes driver comes, but I have experienced the taxi driver just doesn't show up.twice!

Zero stars. Was just (jan 7,2: 35 pm) majorly cut off by cab 409 on Bank St. Speeding, reckless driving, cutting across multiple lanes at a time, when they cut me off, I had to slam on my brakes to avoid collision. Then the driver flipped me off. The absolute worst.

I took a taxi with my fiancé from the fallowfield train station to home.

We did not call, there was a taxi cab waiting in the designated area, and he was available so we took a drive with him.

He was very friendly, and helped load our luggage into the cars clean trunk.

Our trip was safe. The cab driver signalled at every turn, was nice on the brakes and on acceleration. It was evident that we had a good driver transporting us.

We talked a bit with the driver, otherwise the trip was fairly quiet, but not awkward.

I will call blue line again when I need a taxi. Thank you for your services.

Hey blueline, judging by what you did to my 82 year old father today, I think maybe you need to invest in some kind of GPS, since your drivers apparently have no idea where they’re going. Since he doesn’t own a cell phone, the doctors office called my father a taxi to take him home from his appointment. The driver asked my dad how to get to our house, to which he replied with our address. The driver then asked how to get there, as he didn’t know where it was (it’s a pretty well know lab area) so my father started to give him directions. Driver got upset and said he had “no obligation” to know where the address was and that he “can’t know everything”. He then pulled over to a random community centre and told my father, who is diabetic, walks with a shuffling gait and a cane, to get out. He walked the rest of the way home and we are lucky he made it. We have submitted a complaint to blueline and will be taking this to the media if this driver isn’t dealt with. Blueline, one day you will abandon the wrong elderly client and you will find yourselves in a big fat lawsuit when they fall and injure themselves. Your literal only job is to take people to their destination

Prompt and reliable taxi service in Ottawa. Easy to book by phone. Some drivers wont let you sit in front (we were too many people to al sit comfortably in the back so we squeezed in)

Editing my review. Majority of drivers are great. Always show up early for a pick up. All of them nice to talk to, and are ok with silent drive.

Had one bad experience. Awful driver. He would accelerate for five seconds then take his foot off the pedal over and over again. The car was constantly rocking back and forth. I got car sick for the first time in years.

My sister caught a cab to go from a place near Montreal Road to go into Gatineau. It would normally cost approx. $35-$38… but the driver starting asking her for directions? Why he was not checking his GPS… I don t know… it cost her $50 because the driver didn t know where to go? Never will use them ever again! Shame on you Blue Line!

My school ordered 8 taxis for a trip… my driver was an unsafe driver Breaking many different rules of the law…was also very rude to us passengers I don’t suggest using this company.

I hired a cab from the airport, fantastic driver with an excellent and professional demeanor. After the ride I needed to grab a receipt, which I ended up forgetting to do. I emailed the company and provided a minimum of information and they sent me back a digital receipt within moments. Fantastic and great service all around. Highly recommend.

I dont take taxis often. David in cab 812 was a true pro. Had a work emergency and he got me there quickly and safely. I told him id require a lift back home and he was prompt when i called him for pickup. There are still some good drivers out here.

Expensive, said they couldnt fit my bike in a vehichle then i called the other company and the other company called a blue line taxi that could fit my bike so not sure what to think of that

I called a taxi in the byward market after work at 2am through the app and the driver picked up another group. I was unable to book again through the app as it said I had a ride in progress. So I called to have one sent to me in the market. This second driver insisted I pay for my ride upfront instead of running the metre insinuating that I would not pay for my ride. He got incredibly aggressive and started screaming at me to get out of his car. He spat and me as I was exiting the vehicle and called me the n-word. I called the customer service complaints department the next day immediately and was sent to voicemail numerous times. When I called the general line they said they won’t transfer me to a senior manager and I again was sent to voicemail. No one has reached out since, and the driver has not been reprimanded. Blueline has actually connected me to him again twice when calling a ride home from work late at night. It’s disgusting how little they care for the well-being of customers. I call a ride because it is unsafe for me as a woman to walk 35 minutes that late at night. However it seems Blueline taxi might even be more unsafe for customers.

The number of times I’ve nearly been intimidated, disrespected, cut-off, hit, rear-ended, sideswiped, run-over, or cursed-at by taxi drivers on Rideau Street alone makes for a compelling case to ban all taxis.

Blueline offers solid transportation services to all areas of the Ottawa area while offering consistent prices and fairs throughout. I've often come into various pricing issues associated with private competitors that ask for almost 2x the amount during peak hours where as Blueline delivers on fares based on transportation and distance. Consider looking this up before you invest an online ride simply because it's the new thing to do nowdays. You just might be surprised

We waited 45 minutes at Rockliff lookout, the cab driver called us many times to know where we where as if there’s more than one. Finally HE DROPPED US without a lift! Bad, very bad

Good courteous professionam service, arrived ahead of time and dropped me off promptly and safely. I will always prefer a taxi service over Uber or any of the non-union carry services - but that's just me. I highly recommend Blue Line in Ottawa.

Worst experience I've ever seen from a taxi service. Came out of the airport. Instead hiring an Uber I figured I'd use the local taxi service. Driver (car 204) asked where I was going. It's a short distance but way to far to walk. Driver rolled his eyes. Before we could get in someone else came out and he asked them where they were going the. Took them instead. No wonder local taxi is dying. Trash customer service.

Oh dear, these people are just rip off most of them they go around and around even when u tell them where to go and they want a tip lol never tip them dont worry they tip themselves before u even get in the car i love lift not even uber lift is the cheapest although they are beginning to raise their prices so i might stop using them soo as well just get a car people if u can they are all expensive if used weekly

All I have to say is terrible service. I called 10 minutes before I intended to leave and I got a notification saying the cab is 5 minutes away, so I went down and ended up waiting 20 minutes, having to cancel my ride because the cab hasn't moved from it's tracker despite it still being "5 minutes away", and then I had to call again for another. I never got an apology for this or anything.

Why tell me it is 10 minutes away? I called after 10 and you told me it was 25 minutes away. After an hour you told me it was 45 minutes away. Why lie and make us wait? Absolutely pathetic business practices and no wonder Uber will crush you.

Driver was trying to get us as a fare while we were waiting to be picked up by a prereserved ride. We politely said no and he started harrassing us. Very unprofessional.

I fly through Ottawa twice a month to transit through, and during COVID, the hotels are using the Airport Taxi, which unfortunately, happens to be Blueline. Every time the taxi picks us up, the drivers are incredibly rude and make it clear that they are not happy because they “had to wait 3 hours for a $10 fair”. It’s become their mantra as each driver says this each and every time. 2 weeks ago when I went to get the voucher, that driver threw my luggage on the curb. These drivers need to understand that what’s going on inOttawa is not the travellers fault, and if the hotels should get the shuttles back in operation, then there goes that $10 that now apparently goes to zero. If there was a star less than zero, I would use it, and I hope Capital Taxi goes for and wins the airport contract in the future. They’re always so grateful and pleasant. Something Blueline obviously omitted from their training manual.

My driver, was absolutely by far an angel sent from above. I was unfortunately at my worst, he seen the pain in my eyes, face n body. He emphasized with me, he talked in a way that he held zero judgment, and I was super fortunate enough to have him on the way home too, and also was in pain at that time as well. He cried with me. As I type this it brings tears to my eyes because I SEEN how much he stood beside me, even though he never met me before. I was a stranger to him, but felt more compassion from him than I do from most others. I called the supervisor, and gave humongous accolades, praise, explained that his type of person should be a helper out in the community because he effortlessly made me feel so much better. This may sound way over the top to whoever reads these. But I am. With every bone in my body, so serious, he was meant to cross my path. His name is David, and I can't say this enough. Without tears, how grateful I am that we had met for just a short period

Friend of mine Natalia, had to travel overseas for family emergency. She endup going to Ottawa to get an entry visa. She was under so much stress, that she lost her passport in one of the blue line cabs. We called Blue Line for help locating her passport. Kim from driver admin department went extra mile for us, got in touch with the whole fleet to see if anyone found it. Driver Amad was very kind to let everyone know that he found Natalia's passport.
We want to thank everyone for their help, and support in making Natalia's situation a little easier.

Called a cab cuz the bus didn't come, then the bus came so I cancelled, they were glad I called back and I promised to give the next Blue Line driver I see a fiver, cuz that's how I roll, baby.

Something needs to change about the culture with these drivers. The service is never friendly. Instead they act intimidating and rude. It makes for a really uncomfortable ride and then they just assume you’ll tip them and keep your change, but at this point you’re too afraid to say anything. It’s a really awful way to run a business and there seems to be zero accountability for the drivers. It’s kind of embarrassing for the city of Ottawa, that their well-known cab company operates this way.

Usually arrive no later than 10 minutes. And the drivers know where they are going and not putting lives at risk such as drastic change of lanes, running red lights, show up at the actual address and finally and far from least they speak English unlike most Uber and Lyft Drivers who have no idea how to drive and and can't understand instructions.

Waited for the reserved cab to pick me up to the airport. Never showed up and never even informed me that they ain't coming. Good thing I have Uber app.
