So I needed to book an accessible taxi to take my mother from a nursing home to the hospital in a week. They gave me a speech about having to have an account and when I asked if I could open an account they told me I’d have to call administration the day of the ride. I said that there is often a delay and that I would miss the appointment if I don’t book ahead. She blamed the city and told me to file a complaint. So ridiculous. I called Hamilton Taxi and they booked for the day I wanted right there no account necessary and they deliver on time. Blue line has the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I called blue line from copetown to get to my destination and i waited 1hr and 15 mins before they arrived.it took me 3 times for them to get it straight.their texting service is a joke.i drove there a long time ago when i had a car and it took me only 25 minutes driving at the speed limit.this taxi service is way too slow.not recommended.

Tried calling them this evening. There automating service did not recognize nothing. Kept trying didn’t work…. Got fed up…. You lost a customer I called Hamilton cab instead

My client took an accessible cab to her bank. The driver misunderstood where she was going although that would have been clear when she booked the ride. The driver apparently didn't know her destination and when she told him the address he asked her for directions. When he left her at the bank he assured her that he would be back, stating that he might not even leave the parking lot. He did leave and never returned. Apparently, he didn't put a return trip on his schedule.
After 2 hours and numerous calls to Blueline without a solution, the bank closed and we were stuck out in the rain. Pushing the wheelchair, we went to a nearby restaurant and Handivan was able to fit my client into their tight schedule.
Blueline: you caused my client much mental anguish and exhaustion. Unacceptable. Train your drivers, and btw, don't they have GPS?
Bottom line, don't trust this company. They don't even deserve one star.

I have recently used this cab company and am very pleased to report the integrety of its management is of the highest regard. Anytime a company listens and reponds to its customers shows a dedication to service, and i am happy to say within minutes of a misunderstanding, Blue cab addressed the situation and responded like a professional company it is known for.

Complete scammers. They charged us $82 for a 4-minute trip, failing to mention when we booked the ride that they charge $80 to drive outside of their usual area. We even called ahead and asked about any additional fees and they lied and told us there weren’t any. They threatened to call the police on us if we didn’t pay. I would not recommend Blue Line taxi to anyone and I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau.

EDIT: As you can see from the below response, the owner continues to gaslight his customers. We were never told about this fee which is the whole point of our complaints. And he still hasn’t explained where the extra $30 charge came from.

Be mindful if you are pre-booking a taxi anywhere in wine country for a wedding. The base fee is $80 plus the distance driven which they do NOT mention whilst booking. We even called the office when booking to ask if there was a fee for booking and they said no. It is clear they knew what we were inquiring for and, correct, there is no fee for booking but they do have a fee associated to the ride itself, which they strategically do not mention. They got off on a technicality. We spent $82 for a 4 minute drive in Beamsville. Take an Uber instead. Also if you read all the reviews you will see the owner disputing everyone over their very legitimate complaints — it is comical at best, but inherently a pathetic business practice. Good luck if you use a Blue Line taxi service!

Edit: the owner responded:). $50 positioning fee that was mentioned only after we got in the car, but somehow the meter at the house started at $80. We paid $82 flat to get driven 4 minutes down the ride. Even if the base fee was $50 we aren’t sure where the extra $32 came from.

We called ahead and asked if there would be a minimum charge for a ride. The dispatcher confirmed there were not after we gave both addresses. Upon pickup, the meter auto updated to $80. We contested this with the driver and ended up calling the dispatcher who listened to our recording and proceeded to lie saying there is always a minimum charge. We asked to speak with the owner and the owner refused to speak with us. The dispatcher then threatened us that if we did not pay the full amount $80+ride, then they would call the police on us. Do not use this service

Edit: As you can see below the owner has responded. It seems to be fairly standard business practice to mislead customers. I'm sorry but a typical customer is not going to know the difference between your company's various "charges and fees". If a customer calls worried about a high fee, and you assur them that there is no fee, then they would naturally expect no positioning fee or surcharge fee. Please use this service with extreme caution unless you want to overpay and be threatened with the police.

He wanted me to give him 20 dollars up front when I take the trip often and know it's only 13 dollars. I showed him the money and told him I'd pay when arrived. He kicked me out instead.

Whoever was driving cab 128 on June 14th was not professional at all. I booked a ride and when I’m heading towards the cab he drives to the other side of the street (I don’t think he saw me since there was a bus in front). I cross the street and when I see the driver he flips me off. I walked up to the driver’s door and he said that they’ll send another cab and then drove off. I’ve been using blueline for a while and have never had a driver do that to me.

I have used Blue Line to get back and forth to work for a few years now. I recently had an issue and after contacting the company and leaving a message with the owner, he returned my call and worked things out with me. Not many businesses would do that these days, and it says a lot about the owner. Thanks Blue Line.

Very prompt and professional service. Once I made the call driver arrived in six minutes. He was so polite and professional. In future I will never hesitate to call blue line taxi service.

Worst service… never trust on blue line taxi. I have to wait for more than 30 minutes or sometimes 1 hour for transcab and after that i have to book uber. At jones at highway 8.

No Transcab Service
Taxi service on the streets of Bell Manor St.and Barton St. E doesn't work. However, there are trans taxis in the afternoon and I did some groceries (heavy bags!), waited 3 hours 30 minutes for a taxi (May 18,2023), only to be picked up by a blue line trans taxi. So waste of money because they don't provide taxi service. This is just a scam and very annoying. It's terrible to feel stuck and stranded and not know when someone will come to bring you home. The bus driver ordered a taxi at 15: 08 in the afternoon and came to pick me up at 18: 38 in the evening.

I called and it's all automated rubbish. Don't waste your time. I'd rather speak to a real person Call Hamilton Cab instead and press 0, they still have people who talk to you to book a cab.
