Brought our 8 week old puppy in for his first exam. Everyone from the front desk, to the techs, to the doctor were amazing. The vaccine was given so nicely he didn't even feel it. They also answered all of our questions and gave us a great overview of all the stuff he needs and what he doesn't. And they gave him a little gift bag with treats and toys for his first visit. I think he'll actually be excited to go back to the vet in a few weeks!

We took our little cat to Blue Mountain Veterinarian Services for the first time. Cinder was very ill and we were terrified we would have to have him put down. From the first phone call to all the time and work they put in to help Cinder get well they were amazing! The vets and techs called with updates so we always knew how Cinder was doing. They treated Cinder like he was their own and we were also treated extremely well. I cannot say enough about all the wonderful people we dealt with there. They saved Cinders life and we are forever grateful. We will definitely be their clients for life. Thank you all so very much!

My dogs are frequent flyers here, and they absolutely love it. I can tell they treat them like their own family. Just stepping into the clinic you get the sense each and every one of the staff put their heart and soul into their jobs.

I don’t normally write reviews but I thought I should share this experience. I booked my dogs in for boarding over the long weekend and have emails confirming drop off times on the Friday. When I arrived no one was there. I waited 40 minutes which was the agreed upon time window for drop off and no one came. I had to take my dogs home and scramble to make other arrangements. It’s a good thing I didn’t have a flight to catch or other time constrained travel arrangements. I emailed and phoned and no one replied until Monday. Not once that weekend was I contacted to ask why the dogs weren’t there when they were booked in. No one cared. When they finally contacted me on Monday they didn’t seem apologetic, they just said there was a staff miscommunication and the staff didn’t think they had to come in on Friday. My dogs were to be picked up on Sunday and booked for two nights, three days. If the staff knows this how does this equate to I guess I don’t need to come in on Friday? Was the weekend staff told at all they were booked in? I felt like they wanted me to say oh, it’s ok but it is not ok. Their mistake could have really cost me and I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect that the phone call on Monday should have been led with I am really sorry this happened, we messed up, how do we make this right? They couldn’t make it right but the offer would at least have made me feel like they actually cared about what happened. It was obvious to me that ultimately they didn’t.
I have to trust the place I leave my dogs is caring, professional, reliable and that they are in good hands. This place failed on all fronts in my opinion. The silver lining is that in my scramble I found another place with good service, great contact at just over half of their price! Do your research and have a backup plan if you book with them or potentially risk your vacation.

I cannot find the right words to explain how amazing this team is.
We had an unexpected issue with our senior bulldog and unfortunately we were far away from our regular vet.
This team took us in, even though we are not a regular client; after other vets around the area (especially Thornbury) who quickly turned us away. Blue Mountain Vet did not hesitate taking us in. Dr. Karen did an outstanding job with not only calming my emotional nerves, but getting our dog back to her regular self. The entire staff their is very warming, especially the wonderful receptionist who had to deal with my hysterical state when I first showed up.
This team goes above and beyond, and should be recognized for their outstanding work. I honestly wished I lived closer so they could be my regular vet.
The staff are true Guardian Angels of the mountain.

Dr Doris is an incredibly gentle, kind, compassionate and loving vet. We travelled from out to town (1.5hrs) specifically to see her with our beloved 16yr old dog. From the admin staff to the vet, we were treated with love and respect. Thank you for having such big hearts in a difficult time.

I am so thankful for the emergency care of my baby Navi! She lost a toenail falling from the couch and BMVS fit her in immediately and with such kindness. I live out of town now but grew up in Meaford, my nana always used this clinic and I would recommend them over any others in the area without hesitation. A big thank you to all the staff that helped us out yesterday!:)

Excellent clinic, truly the best vet that I have ever taken any of my animals to. I recently moved up to the area so was looking for a new vet for my senior kitty. Dr. Jennifer gave my kitty the most thorough examination I've ever seen a kitty get and the whole team at the Clinic was super kind, patient, and clearly experts at what they do. I'm so grateful to have found them, and to get help with a digestive issue she's been dealing with for a while. I feel a lot of confidence and trust in this vet and highly recommend them.
