Blue Springs Animal Rehabilitation Center

My dog stayed here for a week, they keep a nice clean space, he seemed very happy! They kept me updated with pics and summaries of the day.

We love the team at Blue Springs! Our 12 year old greyhound had to have a front leg amputation this year and once he was healed we started at Blue Springs. To say that Walter is a bit of a diva is an understatement and they’ve gone out of their way to make him comfortable (and us too!)
Their flexibility with his program has allowed us to focus on what is working best for him and we often get comments from friends that he’s moving better than ever.
The love and care and patience and knowledge is exactly what we need.
Our sweet guy is thriving and they are a big part of his care team that makes that possible.

Have been taking our 11yr old Boston for therapy on his front leg. The therapist is wonderful and obviously cares about the pets she works with. She takes time to make sure that the pet, and the pet owners are comfortable and understand what is going on. Our dog loves going for his therapy and the therapist! Would recommend this course of treatment to anyone with a pet needing help with arthritis or healing of broken legs, etc. We have seen a tremendous amount of progress in a fairly short amount of time.

Our injured dog goes here for water treadmill therapy. We very much appreciate their knowledge and professionalism. We work with Emily, and she is great.

We have had, and continue to have, an amazing experience with Blue Springs Rehab. Alix seems to know what we need at always the right moment and is so calming when it seems a tough day.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with the clinic. Alix and Emily were amazing with my dog's recovery following spinal surgery. Their patience and enthusiasm for his recovery was amazing. They came highly recommended by my vet and I feel the same way after my experience. My dog would have never regained the level of mobility has without their hard work and dedication. I am forever grateful for their care and attention.

Last year, my dog ruptured both his rear cruciate ligaments, within 3 days of one another. (Imagine if you tore both your ACLs in each leg) We had to wait 5 weeks between surgeries, and about 12 weeks before we could even think about putting him in rehab. When he started, he could barely walk for 10 minutes, had lost most of his muscle mass in his rear legs, and couldn't do stairs or jump up on the couch. We were worried about his quality of life.not to mention the added financial cost on top of a LOT of vet bills to date between the surgeries, emerg vet visits, medications, etc.

We spent weeks with the great folks at Blue Springs Animal Rehab, and I quickly learned a few things:

1. They were 1000% committed to my dogs rehab.
2. They are flexible and willing to adapt both a program and take away exercises for the best strengthening program for your pet
3. They were awesome!

After another 12 weeks, my boy is 99% back to what he was before these two major surgeries. He's gained back all his confidence, his mobility, his strength, and most importantly.himself.

The most unexpected amazing experience. Alix treated my Kane as if he was her own. The place is extremely clean, well prepared and very confortable for both yourself and your pet. Highly recommend. Will be coming back and bringing my other dogs.
