Ever since Smartstop bought this location from Bluebird, it has gone extremely downhill. In the couple of months they’ve been in control, we’ve already encountered a few issues since august between payment issues and cleanliness. The bathrooms are so dirty now and we found a pile of syringes and cans of tuna stacked in a corner one day…

I recently had the pleasure of utilizing the services of Smartstop Storage, and I must say that my experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived at their facility, I was greeted by a friendly and professional staff who made the entire process seamless and stress-free.

First and foremost, the facility itself was immaculate. Cleanliness is a top priority for me, especially when it comes to storing my belongings, and Smartstop Storage maintained an exceptional level of cleanliness throughout. The storage units were well-maintained, properly ventilated, and organized, giving me peace of mind knowing that my belongings were in a safe and secure environment.

The customer service I received from the Smartstop Storage team was outstanding. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to assist me with my storage needs. They patiently answered all my questions, provided helpful suggestions, and guided me through the entire rental process. Their friendly and accommodating approach made me feel valued as a customer.

Smart storage has the most reasonable price and clean storage. And Aydele is super nice and friendly. He is doing great job with great considerations for our situations. Always helpful and responsible. It’s lucky to have Aydele at the smart storage.

I absolutely love the team here. The most accommodating best team ever. Jacky and Sergey are so incredibly kind and such an asset to your company. Such a clean unit too and I feel safe coming here after hours.

I love this storage. The staff are very friendly and supportive. There are cameras and they are constantly checking lockers and leachers and they call you if they see something wrong. There is a parking outside and loading dock inside. It is also very clean and the location is also very good.

Jacky and Sergey are the most helpful front desk staff. Always willing to help and show you whatever you need. 10/10 facility and staff

Clean climate controlled space with very easy access. We have 2 units on the 4th floor. No problems using the very large elevators whenever we require access. Our moving day (Sept 2022) was easy and seamless as this location has 3 indoor loading bays (suitable for even large trucks).

Best thing about this place is the staff. Both Sergei and Jacky are warm and friendly. They took the time to give us a tour and clearly explain the process as well as their promotional deals. We toured 3 places prior to our move. The way Sergei and Jacky treated us made our decision easy.

I'm so glad to find this guy's and storage unit, I'm able to store my stuff very good price, and who works there is amazing helping guy's I don't have any problem, I have a good experience and I like to recommend for everyone

The space is clean staff is friendly and helpful. I have been at other storage places and I have to say this is a favourite. You can drive right in and stay in a climate controlled environment while loading and unloading.

This was my first experience with any storage solution provider and BlueBird came highly recommended by our professional organizer and they did not disappoint!

Rented from the Toronto Esander location. Barb on the chat line was able to explain and clarify the pricing structure and returned emails promptly. On site, Sergey was terrific in showing me around the facilities and in smoothly processing my rental. Very clean. All at a price lower than the neighbourhood competitors.

We were very pleased with the Storage facility. After the new ownership took over the facility is not quite as clean or well maintained, but it is still good. They were also very fair about the charges on our move out.

Bluebird has excellent self storage facilities, helpful customer service, and a prime location in Toronto. If you're looking for self storage in the Toronto area, I recommend Bluebird Self Storage!

Edited: my unit was broken into, my stuff was rummaged through, and the insurance I already paid for did not cover it since I cancelled my storage after finding my unit in shambles. Literally, open suitcases and boxes. Police were eventually involved but Bluebird did not help. Apparently I would still have had to still be a customer to access my insurance coverage, but why would I remain if I was robbed? None of it makes sense. I lost a few grand worth of items during the pandemic and.nothing. It's not right, and these people do not care.

Bluebird Self Storage is a remarkably perfect facility that makes us feel like we are storing our stuff at home. Our personal experience at this storage is unmatched with any other storage facility. Their cleanliness, COVID-19 protocols, excellent customer service, onsite accessibility and security are at an ideal standard that everyone looks for. I had an amazing experience at Bluebird self storage. The staff (Serge especially) were so helpful throughout my time there. Clean, safe, and everything was kept in good shape. I will continue to use them for client storage but I had to move on to a warehouse!

Great location and facility - clean, everything works, and there’s always a cart or two ready for use. Michael takes pride in keeping things orderly and I thoroughly appreciate how he maintains a sense of security about the facility by regularly checking the floors and walking about the facility. I needed two units and he ensured they were on the same floor as close together as possible, a great help!

Needed some storage during a basement renovation. Checked around in the area and Bluebird had the best rates and terms. Brand new facility is sparkling clean, well lit and safe. Michael was great giving me a tour and explaining entry procedures. I had a little glitch in my account with credit card processing and Michael called me and straightened everything out on the phone, great customer service!

Had a nasty accident at the facility late evening involving a lot of shattered glass. I had no way of cleaning it up -left a message. Andras took care of everything without complaint. Very clean and well-maintained facility. The storage manager Andras was very helpful. The registration process was quick and easy. Andras was very thorough in explaining every aspect of renting a storage unit. He helped me to get the right size unit for my needs. Very good value for the money.

The facility is impressive, with various size storage options to choose from and a spacious loading bay. Mike was very professional and thorough, making sure I was comfortable with the transition. The paperwork wasn't a long complicated process like some companies, nor are you obligated to purchase their locks. They will need more staff during peak hours, once the facility becomes more established.

Michael at the Esandar Dr location went above and beyond to help my move feel easy and fast. If that wasn’t enough, the facilities are first class! They’re clean, well lit and easy to access. The storage unit itself is very well built. I’d totally recommend using this service for your storage needs.

Not as advertised. Front desk is extremely confrontational. If you plan on being on any floor other than 1, for more than 10 minutes, it gets very hard to breath. They “climate control” the building but don’t circulate the air. Meaning it’s extremely stuffy and hard to breath if you’re there for more than 5 minutes. When I spoke to the front desk agents, I was told to either move units (which would make no difference, since its the air circulation and not the temperature) or change facilities. They have no manual control over the system and don’t know what the programming is or if there’s a better time to come. I have been there 5 times and experienced the same difficulty each time. Not finding the front desk “solutions” to be reasonable, I guess I will have to make do. But I would strongly encourage others to stay clear of this place. Don’t get caught up in the “new and clean facility”. It seems as if they are cutting every possible corner to make ends meet, as most of the facility is still vacant and the top floors still have not been completed.

Amazing service, clean facility and convenient location. Definitely more secure than any other storage facility I've used. Michael was incredibly helpful and courteous and took the time to ensure we had the right sized unit for our usage.

This is a great facility that has a great layout, convenient access and the staff are super helpful. You are able to access the facility outside of business hours which is great for not dealing with traffic if you don't have to!
