BMO Bank of Montreal

I have been having ongoing banking issues with BMO for quite some time. Online banking becoming blocked, my debit card not working online, not working in stores etc. I have been in and out of the bank so many times and have never been able to get these issues resolved. I have spoken with some members of staff at the BMO who are just totally uninterested and who have not been able to offer me any resolution until I met Personal Banker, Ginette duBac-Carleton. Ginette has done everything in her power to solve all of my banking issues. I needed to meet with her recently to resolve my blocked bank card after speaking with several members of staff at the bank who couldn’t figure out what the issue was. Due to my work schedule I could not get to the bank prior to it closing. Ginette met me at a different branch of BMO, closer to my work, outside of her standard working hours to help. She always follows up, she is always responsive to emails. She is an asset to the Bank of Montreal and I cannot say enough great things about her.

Don't get mortgages through this bank, especially if its Thomas. He will continously reassure you that everything is fine and good to go and once you are about to actually sign and get everything done, he will say you need 20% down and make it impossible and extremely stressful to get done. Save the hassle and save the stress, go elsewhere.

This BMO violated the privacy act and released my personal information to third parties. I am currently speaking to my lawyer, someone is going to pay!

The staff are all very friendly and you don't have a long wait in line.

It's a bank, not a bar. So don't expect to be blown away. But everything to deal with your finances are here. The people are awesome and very helpful
