BMO Bank of Montreal

I signed up for a chequing account online and was told I needed to show up, verify my ID, and I would get my card. However, at the branch, they insisted that I had to appointment, causing confusion because there email said to show u anytime with my ID. Regardless I made the appointment and the lady reminded me to being one piece of ID. I show up for my appointment and I'm told I need 2 pieces of iD, when both the email and bank teller told me I just needed one. This was a frustrating and time-consuming experience and I will never recommend for anyone. On the other hand, ScotiaBank opened my account smoothly without an appointment, requiring only one piece of ID. The process was straightforward. Also BMO's requirement for a credit check to open a basic checking account seemed unnecessary as I was not getting a credit card with them

Customer service was very helpful at 499 south brampton. Ritika crs very efficient staff has knowledge of banking products.she was quite fast also.most recommend

I love and appreciate this bank so much my money was on hold for what reason i dont know and i went to the teller Parveer. She was soo nice and willing to assist me. She tried so hard until she freed my moneyi love it there

They Suck totally and worse service ever. Moved to CIBC and much comfortable and responsive. Just sell the products with incorrect info and when you reach out to the customer care I got to know the information provided at the bank is incorrect

Total useless … least bothered.non knowledgeable staff and managers are equally useless. AVOID THIS BRANCH!

Extremely slow, disrespectful, and unhelpful banking experience. My last visit was an utter wait of time. Will be moving our account to a competitor.

They only have one teller and dealing with credit card on teller booth
Doesn’t even wear a name tag
Manager sitting there instead of dealing with customers
If you complain they make you more wait
