I would give them a MINUS 5 star if I could. Horrible Customer Service. Called all day to make an appointment and NO ANSWER and NO ONE responded to the many messages I left. Disgusting! I guess TD Bank will get my business! At least they answered my call!

Slow service (waited almost 45mins). If you have time it's fine. Lots of trainees it seems, so multiple errors leading to delays. Overall polite.

Terrible experience. I deposited a certificate cheque from my lawyer. I asked the bank to call my lawyer so I will have money available to pay a very important bill that was due some.day I deposited a certificate cheque.
My lawyer said she would wait till the bank called her to verify everything.
The bank manager stepped out of the office and said to me "Don't worry money will be available today we'll take care of it and call your lawyer" I was so relieved for a moment.
5h later money wasn't available
7h later no money.
I called Bank 6 or 7 times.no one picked up the phone.

My lawyer's office is closed today till Monday so no one will pick up the phone till then.
Bank is closed on Monday.my bill is overdue.my stress level

Extremely disappointed
In May someone got a hold of my card information and took all of the money that was in my checking and savings accounts. I reported it to the bank immediately in person and they escalated the situation to the fraud department and said it would take 10 business days for them to respond. I understood and went back to see what the status was. Apparently they declined it as being fraud and weren’t going to reimburse me. An employee at the Tomken branch who was helpful actually and tried to contact her friend in the fraud department to see what they could do. My situation got pushed to the second step where it was investigated more. In the second step, I was asked to submit a police report to help with my statement so I went to the police station and filed a report. The lady who had given me her email to contact her about the police report happened to be on vacation when I tried to reach out to her about said she would respond when she returned at the end of the week and that was about a month ago. Today I was fed up and called my local branch at the tomken location, the fraud department line, and any other number I could find on Google that could possibly get me a transfer to someone who could help me. Almost every time nobody answered the phone, and the ones who did were useless and unhelpful. Some even hung up on me after putting me on hold. After an hour I gave up. Completely unsatisfied and I am planning on switching.

Recently went through an escalation with BMO after my money didn’t come out the ATM. These guys first investigated the wrong account, then made a decision on my account without even updating me. So I had to call them to even find out, then after I pointed out the obvious they apologized and said I have to wait another 10 days for another update. Can you imagine after 2 weeks I had to call them AGAIN for an update only to find out again the same decision. I was told to go to this branch as they did the investigation, after they told me the money came out originally I’ve had to get lawyer and the footage from the establishment that shows I didn’t receive anything. So not only wasted time, wasted gas, delinquency, not professional really a horrid experience, especially because I was RIGHT all along. Imagine having to do all the above for money that is yours.

Long story short: I am still awaiting another investigation to be completed. In that time, TD Canada Trust has stepped up to the plate. Providing me with the money BMO stole as my first deposit. Incredible bank, informative, explain all steps and updates I would suggest if you haven’t already check out TD or Scotia Bank. Incredible customer service and just overall a good bank.

Visted today to deposit some post dated checks. The teller wasn't sure how to do it so she asked for help. Sahrish Malik who came to explain they can't deposit post dated checks and I have to pay $5 to do so. When I asked more questions she got aggressive and started patronizing me. Extremely rude and no way to talk to customers. I am a very calm person until somebody starts patronizing me and speak to me as if I am 4 year old. Naturally I got upset and asked her to close my corporation account, business account and personal accounts. She refused to do that too. Horrible service from BMO. I am taking this further and getting the management and corporate involved. Take your business somewhere else. Worst bank ever.

It may not be what you see on reviews it's my perspective with Mallika she helped me really 5*. Well maybe lack of training on certain staff.

Always great service here. The lines can be a bit of a wait but one of the only BMO locations open on Saturdays.

Visited your branch twice this month. Most of your employees (young and old) look miserable and give off really bad vibe. When I visited the branch it was empty, so there wasn’t any rush or anything. Either make sure your employees are happy working there or time to hire new employees.

Worst bank ever closing all my accounts moving to a different bank DO NOT JOIN THIS BANK. Customers services is very poor they giving false information to customers. I spoke to a representative on the phone they said go in to the bank with cheque when I did manager saying to verify cheque when I already deposited it via mobile more than 5 business days gone funds haven't released yet. This is absurd.

The teller in this branch is sooooo terrible with no conscientiousness and competent to do their job and always rude especially the girl named Diana, I went there this Monday to renew my student account and she refused to help me with that because simply she just wanted to off the work earlier and even lied to me said she can’t do it that day and requested me to come to the branch one more time with such a disrespectful attitude. And her helper is called Joe Achk he said he would email me to book an appt for me the other day but he never emailed me anything I still waiting. Diana and Joe they’re definitely not reliable. I will file a complaint to BMO as well. They should educate their teller better.
