I hope there is negative review available. There call center is price of garbage. Did not have answer for the error done at the bank?

Hello everyone,

I would like to share my personal experience @763 Bay st BMO branch on 29/Nov/2023.

I would like to start out I am banking with BMO for 25y so my output is legit and 100% accurate based on facts.

So, let's spill the tea. I had issue with my pre-paid BMO MasterCard and since I was unable to resolve the situation over the phone due to LANGUAGE BARRIER (I am not fluent in Punjabi lol) of the costumer service representatives so out of frustration I decided to visit 763 Bay st branch to resolve the problem in person.

There was 1 teller on post (Asian teller). While I explained her the problem she was nearly unresponsive to the concern, offered absolutely no solution she did not do her part not investigated the concern instead she literally barked: " oh when I transfer money it takes a couple of days" with her BROKEN ENGLISH.

This person was not only rude and ignorant but clearly not educated enough (nor cared to listen) or have knowledge on the transfer was made form checking account to prepaid account and the transfer should be available immediately or less than 30min.

I would like to know.how these people get hired and WHY without a bare minimum requirement of speaking ENGLISH LANGUAGE in Canada? !

BMO needs to take responsibility and accountability for a proper costumer service because we consumers paying for our monthly account services and this type of behaviour unacceptable and won't be tolerated!

I would like to mention 382 Yonge st it's EXCEPTIONAL 5 STAR costumer service - I will never visit 763 Bay st location again!

Also, seriously consider to write a complain to the CONSUMER RELATION regarding to my experience with a PRE-PAID MASTERCARD AND 763 BAY ST COSTUMER SERVICE.

No need to reach out and have further communication regarding to that matter. 763 Bay st Branch ruined my BMO costumer service experience therefore I won't be doing any daily banking in this location and resolve this branch short comings I listed above.hire attendees and management team whom are qualified to serve the general public because the end of the day our fees are paying BMO teem wages and we are expecting better costumer service for our money then rude, arrogant, non English speaking costumer service representatives!

1. The chinese lady has no manner.

2. The bank allows tellers to have their personal electronic devices at the counter. She had her Wechat app open all this time, checked on her messages and tapped on her phone while looking at my account info. Exceptional multi tasking skill. Not very strict rules on privacy info or confidentiality imposed on the banks.

3. Reality is that small potatoes do not deserve any customer service.

This branch doesn’t seem to have knowledge about their company's products, promotions and policies. I am extremely dissatisfied with the way the situation were handled for opening a new account. I believe that the service I received was unprofessional and that this branch has failed to provide me with the assistance I needed. Go anywhere else.
