BMO Bank of Montreal

I've tried so many times to be positive here but the ATM on the outside has not worked properly on multiple occasions and they lock the doors to the inside ATMs which is silly as no other BMO does this. How am I supposed to make a withdrawal on off-hours?

Terrible Experience with BMO Bank - 0 Star Rating

I recently opened a business account with BMO Bank and applied for a credit card for my business. Unfortunately, the experience has been terrible. While I understand that a credit check (Hard Check) is required, and it would decrease my credit score.

Shortly after my credit card application was submitted, I received a call from a BMO Bank branch informing me that there was an issue with the credit form and that a new form with a new hard credit check would be required. I was extremely frustrated and felt disrespected as a valued customer.

As a result of these experiences, I have decided to close all my business accounts and credit cards with BMO Bank. The lack of communication and respect for my time and financial well-being is unacceptable. If there were a 0-star rating, I would definitely choose it.

In conclusion, if you are looking for a financial institution that values transparency, communication, and respect for their customers, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Got to say that I'm with bmo a long time now and this location is so disappointing I expect the ATM to be working all the time it is always down, can't give out cash or temporararely out of service and to top it all off they have the doors locked so I can't get inside to use inside ATM after work hrs, so then I have to use my GPS to find another location and hopefully this one is in service and this is happening all the time aghhh, so I think I should just switch to another bank that appreciates their loyal customers, and I should also mention it's the new one to that just opened on Winston Churchill n Dundas, I mean what's the point of having an acct if you can't use the outside or inside ATM, this location is so close to my house then I got to drive 5 or 10 miles to another one, service is so disappointing

THE WORST SERVICE. Do not bank here.

I went in to deposit a draft that will go directly into my mortgage account, and they still kept saying they will put a hold on it. After explaining to them, its going to a secure mortgage account, they still refused and started arguing with me without proposing any solutions. I told them that drafts are cleared funds and they denied this. I have a mortgage with BMO and i told them im a long time customer and they said they dont know me and I need to come to this branch specifically so they can know me.

I said they can contact the other bank to verify the draft and ask to send the fax, and they said I need to do that too. Worst customer service and after not listening for 20 minutes, they called their manager and he said that they can deposit. Waste of my time for nothing.

If the manager of this branch is reading this - the girl with black hair, was wearing a purple shirt, maybe from Asia, today who came in and was talking ahead of the csr with the hijab, she was very rude and has no business being in customer service. The girl with the headscarf was helpful but the other girl was just terrible.

First time at this location and I got to say it was the best bank experience I ever experienced. I was running late for my appointment but the BMO representative Mrs. Mercedes had all the paperwork work prepared and got everything done very efficiently once I got there. Thank you

Terrible customer service by a teller named Salma. No communication skills and unnecessary attitude. She didn’t even show the least amount of respect. Being an employee, she should be going into work to do her job and not be judgmental or act like she owns the place or act like a celebrity. The institution runs based on client business. Definitely disappointed with the customer service!

Special thanks to Mercedes Wang. She helped me extended my home mortgage with the best mortgage rate. She is very patient and helpful.

Called to open an account. Spoke to Ashley who was alright. Then she handed me over to the manager. Her name was "Sarah". She was so rude to me, and when I pointed it out, she said all I'm doing is answering your questions. I was beyond shocked. So I said I wanted to speak to her supervisor and she said he's not in. I asked for her to ask him to give me a call back and she Immediately hung up on me. Avoid her at absolute all costs!

I would like to thank Ms Mercedes Wang for the excellent service today. She is very helpful to help us to solve the mistake from credit card department.
She is very patience and polite to us as customers. I would recommend her for the excellent service. Definite i will come back to see her again in the future,

I visit this branch regularly, excellent customer service, experienced and professional staffs such as Mohan, Varinder, Tara, Ana and others!

The branch is busy most of the time, but their experience enable them cope within the expected time frame.
