I attempted to open a new comer account with BMO and completed the online process. The package I included a Chequing account with no charges for first year and a Savings Account with. Free credit card. I received a confirmation on the opening of the account and received instructions to call
Over Whitby mall branch to activate. To my surprise when I visited their, the officer at counter (femal employee) advised me that there was no savings account and credit card for me and only a chequing account is available and that also subject to a monthly fee? I explained the officer about what was offered through online, but she never bothered to help me. Very poor sales qualities and customer service of this bank. They killed my time Not recommended.
