Walked in to this branch without any prior appointment on a busy Saturday, still they managed to search for slots in the nearby branches and helped us in all possible ways they could!

I am a long-time BMO customer with both personal and business accounts, but my recent visit to the Heartland Town Centre branch left me incredibly disappointed.

On November 8th, 2023, at 10: 30 am, the bank only had 4 staffs, with a long line and a lack of organization. Despite three representatives assisting one customer, the wait time exceeded 45 minutes. To make matters worse, the representatives lacked proper training and exhibited a concerning lack of mannerism.

Upon reaching the counter to deposit a certificate draft, I was informed that it would be held for four days and she said I needed a receipt. When I inquired about the required receipt, the lack of clarity was astonishing. The representatives seemed really unprofessional. The situation escalated when I encountered a disrespectful and rude attitude from the staff, especially the manager. It was disheartening to be treated with such disregard.

In stark contrast, my experience at the Creditview BMO bank was seamless and efficient. They deposited the draft promptly without unnecessary complications or questions.

What surprises me is the discrepancy in policies between these two branches of the same bank. It is unacceptable that customers have to navigate different procedures and levels of service within the same institution.

The manager at BMO Heartland Town Centre demonstrated a complete lack of customer service skills, raising her voice and displaying rudeness through her body language. Such behaviour is unacceptable and does not align with the standard of service I expect from BMO.

This experience has left me with no choice but to reconsider my banking relationship with BMO. I hope that the necessary improvements are made to enhance customer service at this branch.

Overall, my rating for this branch would be less than one star based on the poor customer service, unprofessional behaviour of the representatives, and the confusing policies.

Just visit this branch for the 3 time, had some issues and approach assistant manager ANCHAL, look like this Friday they have party in the bank branch then they are there to work, i ask for help she told me she have to ask someone to help me and start looking around, i been at this branch for the same issue i did explain, she try to brush me of is just FRIDAY long weekend, unprofessional, no knowledge, lazy and on top of this place is messy and dirty. No wonder you guys have such low rating. I wanted to give you 0 star rating as the level of disappointment is so immense.from the end of Feb: i have been in touch with your employee Ana who took my Credit Card application and got it signed in few days timeline. However, from March 1 - after i signed the application - she disappeared.no answers and no email replies.
Today i called your Credit Card department and they dont even have my application in - after 2 weeks. What a shame.

This is the worst experience.

The worst branch to visit, I had been dealing with BMO since 2005.

I have had few worst interactions at some of their branches, I moved closer to heartland and it’s the closest branch, I will never go again.

I went into this branch I deposited a cheque through ATM. I had been with BMO I enjoy some really good perks that whenever I submit a cheque upto 100,000, there is no hold. That’s y I deposited a cheque through atm and funds were readily available.

However the cashier when I asked her I need cash she said she cannot give me funds because I deposited a cheque 5 mins ago, I asked her is there a hold on my account she said there is no hold but still she can give me cash as she is not sure weather the cheque is good or not.

She called the assistant branch manager and she said she will look into it, by this time they had wasted 30 mins already…. The assistant branch manager she started looking into the system and after some time that it will take 15 mins as she will have to open the atm machine to see the cheque by now it was almost 45 mins into the bank… I said give me back my ID you guys have wasted enough of my time….

Now if the bank is allowing me to deposit without any hold… she did cheque that I deposit cheque on a regular basis and withdraw 2 or 3 times a week… it’s a pattern since I am building home I need cash and have to pay m the trades…

I left the bank and went to the next branch they immediately gave me what I asked for, the lady asked for ID she ask few security questions… she checked my pattern that I deposit cheque on a regular basis that’s it 10 mins and I was done…

BMO really needs to work on their customer service…

Complete and in utter shock that this advisor, Sherry Chetram is still employed by this branch. She was completely rude when I had requested a simple statement which was time sensitive that needed to be submitted, a simple task which caused me delays, in which I had to contact another branch for this to be completed, who were able to get this done for me within 10 minutes. Completely unacceptable, and from the sounds of other individuals that I have spoken to, it seems she does not deserve to be in her current role if customer service in a retail environment is not her strength. She belittles her clients, and is not helpful at all. I intend to report this further.

Had an appointment for 3pm with Anna at BMO Heartland branch to discuss opening up a business account. She had apparently already left for the day and another financial advisor appointed to us through the teller. No email or call to let us know that our advisor wouldn't be in. The new advisor Sherry was very rude to us and seemed to not want to help. We had an hour appointment booked and 15 minutes in we had a couple of questions and then she promptly told us we were "waisting her time" (after pretty much setting up the account) to which we literally got up and left. The worst experience I've had with a financial advisor at any bank. The tellers were great though very nice people!

I had worst experience today at BMO heartland location. Employees there do not know how to do simple things for customers.

Stayed at bank for 3 hours they simply wasted my time and one male employee had audacity to tell me that my card is block as i am making payment of huge amount internationally and it will affect my credit history” also money which I transferred from my debit to credit, i had to call and retrieve it he can’t help me” and simply left me there after 2 hr of failed attempt to resolve my issue.other female employee suggested me that my card have limit I should do this and that and made excuses like ooo BMO had changed policies. Anyhow called fraud department & within 5 minutes i successfully made payment of same amount by using same card.

BMO kindly train your employees or get rid of them.

I always had a terrible experience with this branch always struggled throughout and did not cooperate well with me. Even though I still have those issue my past would still be the same. But today, Gursamia Kaur stayed there for me and helped me more than I could ever imagined. She deserves better. I am always always thankful to you. Thank you for all your help!

After a long time i got excellent customer service from representative MARTA, SHE helped a lot and solved all issues with a great smile, SHE explained all in a great way after rose and mesha she is the 3rd one in this branch who is eager to help customers in a great way, 5 stars for MARTA Rose and Mesha, otherwise branch has some areas which needs a lot more improvement like responding phone calls, long waiting time etc

Worst customer service from Rita Sukhu. Absolutely disgusting the way she talks to elders. Instead of helping my mother, she was talking down on her. We Not to waste time we will be moving from BMO bank to another as this has been multiple bad encounters specifically from Rita and also be writing a letter to BMO head office. This is a reason why the branch is toxic and below 2 stars.

Unfortunately, every time I have been to this branch, I end up having to come back due to an error on their part. Examples include forgetting to collect signatures, failing to transfer funds when explicitly asked, incorrectly cancelling money order. These simple processes end up taking 2-3 times as long as they should. Mistakes happen by everyone, but this has been a common occurrence at this branch.

People at the branch are usually very professional and in-person interaction is great.

A women bank teller was rude and not friendly at all. She was getting easily frustrated which got her more in a negative state.

Improved customer service is much needed.

I try avoid going to this branch as much as possible

My experience at this branch has been very good while dealing with Jamila. For the last 3-4yrs I've been going to Jamila to set up investments, business banking, etc. Each appointment has been efficient which is important since I typically come during my lunch. She's the first banker that doesn't feel like they're reaching into my pockets, but instead looks out for my interests.

We had a fantastic experience with Personal Banker Aliza Rayamajhi, I tired working with 8 different people to sort out an issue we had on our Mortgage account. Finally Aliza worked it out for us! She went the extra mile and helped us get the interest rate we wanted.
I will highly recommend her.

Overall experience with BMO branches has been bad with the exception of Zain Khan. He was very responsive and provided great service. If you have to deal with BMO, recommend going through Zain.

This rating is for Zain Khan, Mortgage Specialist at the Heartland branch. I have had the pleasure of working with Zain for a refinance of our primary residence. I am relatively newly self-employed and our current incomes presented a challenge to traditional ratios. Zain was thorough in data gathering, persistent with his internal teams, and always available through phone/email/text. He kept us informed throughout the (I will say lengthy!) process. And he succeeded in securing us a refinance that we were happy with - which an independent broker couldn't do and the bank that has had our mortgage for 10 years couldn't do. THANK YOU Zain!

I lost count of all the little mistakes their employees make, I’ve had to call BMO support after almost every visit because something wasn’t done completely. On top of that, their hours are 10-4.how on earth are you supposed to get a bank draft or anything in person when you have a full time job?

The customer service at this branch is atrocious. It's no wonder they have a low rating. My experience with one of their Banking reps was very unpleasant and unprofessional. Without my consent, she ran a credit inquiry for a Business Account I opened, this dropped my credit score 8 points. Upon questioning this the next day, she had no legitimate answer, only to then later UNSUBSCRIBE me from all BMO communications including surveys about service, yes this actually happened. Incensed and appalled, I visited the Branch Manager because this not how you do business. You don't have the right to make changes to customers accounts as you see fit and without their consent, this was highly suspicious to me. Unsatisfied with the 'resolution' from the Branch Manager, I've decided that after 10 years with this Bank I no longer have patience with their ways, it's unacceptable. I've moved all of my banking to TD and couldn't be happier with the switch, you can only be loyal for so long until you've had enough, BMO and this branch in particular don't deserve your Business.

We had an amazing experience with Managaer Mark and Personal banker Aliza. VeThey stand out with exceptional customer service I am absolutely gratefulness for their help. Bmo is very fortunate to have them.

One woman in the counter is sick and was complaining me not to touch anything near her and put the money on the side desk where she cannot touch. I mean if you're already sick stop going to work and complaining to customer. You're coughing and you really look sick. Stop spreading the virus and get better! Also I come here every month to make some payment but they always have no idea what the transaction is about doesn't matter how much you explain to them. While on the other branch in squareone people are nicer and offers good service and they understand what the transaction is about easily. Im telling my friends this is the worst branch around mississauga.

Worst Branch ever, I asked simple questions and had to wait 30 minutes for them to tell me they can not help me. The number the branch teller provided me for the contact center was wrong. So glad I do not bank with them. I simply came to inquire about their promotion offered online and not even the branch manager had any information on the product and service that they offer. Very disappointing experience.

Absolutely the WORST BMO branch ever. My family and I have had terrible experiences here every single time we visit. Years ago, I went in to deal with an issue regarding “service charges” being taken out of my account and asked to speak to the manager. The assistant branch manager refused to allow me to speak with him and continued to deny any responsibility for the bank. I left crying and swore that I’d never do business with this branch again. There is high turnaround in this branch so I visited again to get a BMO Debit MasterCard with my sister a few years after that. One of the “personal bankers” plucked my sister and I out of the enormous line in the lobby and was extremely “friendly, ” helping to get us set up with new Debit MasterCards and even offered to sign my sister up for her first Credit Card. This woman was completely incompetent and asked irrelevant questions, scoffing at my sister and I when we were unsure of answers. She took advantage of us and fraudulently signed my sister up for credit card insurance without her permission. She has since been fired and we have been advised that she had a history of doing similar shady things with many clients. Recently, my sister’s debit card was stolen and scammed by Beck Taxi company. Another personal banker “helped” us that day. She is incredibly fake and uneducated about the bank’s products and services. She was unable to correctly file a fraud case for my sister’s stolen debit card, reporting it as lost instead. She provided no timeline for the investigation and suggested that my sister’s friend was the one who stole her debit card! It’s extremely concerning that this branch continues to employ incompetent people.this is peoples money and livliehood that they’re messing up! I will NEVER step foot in this branch again and I encourage everyone to seek an alternative branch.or better yet switch banks altogether.

Ive been a customer at this branch for many years and although with high turn over, most staff are very friendly and helpful. The wait times at this branch are always very long. They are always short staffed, and the branch manager mr mark seems to always be relaxing in his office whenever there is a line up.seems to feel like he owns the place when you see him walking around.always a challenge to speak to him and he is very arrogant and stuck up lad.most advisors and managers i worked with in the past seem to have left.with management like that and 5 year delay in technology compared to other banks, competitors wont have to do much to get peoples business.hopefully bmo can figure it out as this branch has been getting worse year over year.

I went to this branch at 20 minutes before closing time on a weekend. I needed to withdraw US$ in large amount and didn't give them advance notice. The staff at the branch were very knowledgeable and cooperative and managed to provided the much needed cash.
