I had an issue with them but luckily I got it resolved. This BMO is in a convenient place for me since it's near my place and where I shop.

Opened my first bank account with advisor Kawther Hemmat and she’s very knowledgeable and answered all my enquiries. She even recommended a savings account and a credit card (without pressure) that fits my spending and budget. She was warm and welcoming, it was really comfortable dealing with her and was satisfied with the service received.

This branch is so bad that I just closed my account and now shop at a bank who knows what they’re doing. LOOK AT THESE REVIEWS! Bmo does nothing to fix their terrible staffing situation because they don’t care! Well, keep it up and others will follow my lead. Just bank with a competitor. Sometimes they’re bad too, but nothing is worse than BMO. Especially at this branch

To the manager of this branch, before you put your teller to serve the customers please give them good training and teach them how to threat and respect customers.a kid was working today and he look like he just woke up and doesn't have the energy even to speak or to help me with what I want.i am going to file a complaint about this branch with BMO.

I recently went to this branch for a mortgage and was treated very well. The representative I worked with treated my wife and I very respectfully and worked very hard to ensure that we had the best products and services possible. Perhaps we were both a bit inexperienced, as we had one or two issues of not knowing what questions to ask/details to discuss, but they were overcome with dedication and timely communication. I would recommend this branch to anyone. [Note that I got a mortgage and bridge financing during the COVID-19 pandemic and that I was eligible for CDCB rates/programs. ]

This branch is the worst customer service ever, the manager and teller were so unprofessional.
I am closing my account with BOM according to this sad experience.

Very confused by how many negative reviews this branch has received. I have been going here for 10+ years and have never experienced any problems whatsoever. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the individual I see here when I need to discuss/manage my finances goes above and beyond to make things happen for me. Whether I came in with an appointment or not, time always ended up being made for me and, on many occasions, the staff went out of their way to help me with things they didn't need to do as part of their jobs. I feel the staff here are trustworthy and offer sound financial advice. I am extremely grateful for everyone's efforts at the 1450 Branch. As far as I'm concerned, this branch provides exemplary service.

Had a terrible experience trying to open a mortgage with them - incurred hundreds of dollars in fees as they delayed my papers for 6 weeks (at one point they mailed my documents which took days, instead of emailing them or faxing?). If I knew, I would not have contacted this branch to handle my mortgage - still paying over 7% in an open mortgage from my previous bank because BMO has still not resolved this issue. In speaking with BMO general customer service, I had a good experience, with kind, patient and competent agents, but specifically at this branch, I did not. I do not recommend this branch at all.

Yesterday, while in a short line-up waiting for 2 customers who were taking a long time to complete their banking, I experienced some very kind and courteous behaviour on the part of your wonderful teller "Osaze". He saw that I was a senior - a tired one at that and he caught my attention and very quietly suggested I take a seat at the teller's cash reserved for customers like me. He quickly followed up by looking after my banking needs and I was able to leave earlier than I would have. I really appreciated Osaze's help and I would like him to know. Thank you Osaze!

The attitude of teller working was unacceptable, and very bad with behaviour and respect to clients, and they said to me that they have no trust. So why I bank with them? Manger is always away don’t even try to meet because I have tried and didn’t receive an appointment as the promised. So I am closing all credit cards and all account and moving to other bank who cares for their business and car about their clients

And also there is sink holes in drive through

Line up of 6 people and consistently only one teller. None of them seem particularly interested in helping customers out. My sister who has several investments with BMO and has been a long time customer, asked to use the washroom. They told her it was out of service at the moment. So I asked how the staff go to the washroom, she said my sister would have to be accompanied in order to use it. My sister asked if someone could axxompany her and they refused. The service here is consistently terrible. Do not come here

Lines are very long and they are too understaffed to deal with them in time. Customer service is good though.

My boyfriend and I had our very first rent payment sent back to us after Minto took the money out of our accounts due to "insufficient funds" meanwhile we triple checked our accounts to make sure the rent money was all there prior to the 1st of the month. When we called Minto they explained that the bank is holding our funds and we were to go into the branch. My boyfriend went into the branch to speak with someone in person. The first employee he talked to did not speak fluent English, he politely asked to have some else help him. The next person they had help him was even worse with English so at this point he was a little aggravated because none of the individuals he was dealing with could tell him why they were holding his funds from Minto. There was a woman who approached him and asked if she could help, he began explaining the situation and half way through she said to him "oh I don't have that much time, " to which his response was "well why even bother asking if you can help? ". After receiving 0 help from anyone at this branch my boyfriend proceeded to call the 1-800 number on the back of his card in the hopes of getting real information. The individual on the phone explained there is a glitch in their system causing a 2 day delay on our bank statements meaning that even though our online banking accounts said we had available funds there was actually negative funds. How is this a customer's error? Why even have access to online banking if the information isn't always correct? Very displeased with this particular branch and its staff and with BMO as a company. I will never recommend this bank to anyone if they are interested in real and HELPFUL service.
