DO NOT OPEN A BUSINESS ACCOUNT HERE! GO TO A DIFFERENT BRANCH! I came to this branch to open a business account and had an appointment booked. 1. I was interrogated about the appointment I had as if I didn’t have one. Once she found my appointment after NOT even greeting me…I was directed to the person whom my appointment was booked with, no hello, no welcome. 2. I provided a passport and PR card, the banker reviewed it intensely, scratching my ID, reviewing every data page in my passport. I’ve never seen this in my life so I asked if everything was okay, to which he said one second and ran off with my documents. I asked for a manager. When whomever came in, still to this moment don’t know if he was actually a manager he began the same process the last person was doing, scrutinizing every piece of paper in my ID. Now come time to review the Corp documents asked what business we will be conducting I mentioned real estate and that I’m an agent. He asked what exactly would we be doing I said BUYING AND SELLING HOUSES.he asked which banks we bank with. Asked for proof of the bank cards. Now I’m frustrated and I’m asking what this is all about. He would not say and says we are denied ability to open an account because I did not provide adequate identification.

This was a case of discrimination from the moment I walked into the bank. Do not go here unless you have no need to deal with bankers.

Worst bank ever to have dealings with. Once this lockdown is over I am cancelling my account with BMO because of the staff at this branch. They are very poor in customer service and needs to learn how to treat customers with respect and in a polite manner. I have had too many ongoing continual issues with this bank which I don't want to state here. My patience was tested and I just want nothing more to do with them.

I have been trying from last 2-3 days but no one is answering my call and even they hang up yesterday. Its such a bad service during this pandemic.

Poor customer service, was trying to get my mortgage done with then but they seemd to lack interest, had to speak to the manager and was advised to speak to another lender however again nothing gets done as they advise they will email us applications to sign but they never do

I wish I could give 0 stars to this branch but there is no option. I have been with this branch for 10 of this branch. The representative made a mistake on our paperwork and started making a fuss in front of other customers. Instead of an apology we got an attitude. I wish upper management take an action. The bank should really look into their employees customer service skills.

Branch manager Rajesh went above and beyond to help me with my credit card application even though that is not the scope of his job. I appreciate his efforts in making a customer happy. Thanks Rajesh and BMO!
