Although known for their cupcakes (choco hazelnut my fav.), this time I also got their blueberry scones with a side of lemon sauce which was again amazing! Staff members were friendly too.
I think that B&B has exquisitely decorated cakes and cookies and I don’t want to take away from their talented bake staff. We ordered a baptism cake for my son from them and I misunderstood the pricing. It was a 6” custom cake for $350. The flowers on top were beautiful but I wish I had understood that the cake despite being somewhat pricey was so small. And unfortunately it wasn’t that tasty either. We ordered the vanilla raspberry cake and I did enjoy the raspberry icing but I don’t think I’d pay $350 for a cake that I thought was just OK.
I did reach out to someone at B&B and they walked me through the pricing which was helpful. But I probably wouldn’t order from them again based on the taste and price. I know they are a lovely bakery though and their custom cookies look beautiful.
One my all time favourite bake shops in Toronto. Perfect when you need something for special occasions - or just when your sweet tooth needs a little treat. Gorgeous space too:)
Your cafe may be nice but it is not ok to discriminate and charge certain people more. The wage gap is a myth, and we should strive for a world that treats all people equally, not one that takes out their actions on a particular group in a new generation for something only their ancestors did, flipping the roles and becoming the people with an unfair advantage.
As a cupcake aficionado - their red velvet cupcakes get 2 enthusiastic thumbs up from me! This is also the spot for cakes that look almost too good to eat. A must-stop whenever ai’m in Toronto
I have a major sweet tooth and I was absolutely satisfied by their cupcakes. They were almost too beautiful to eat and yet they were so delicious. I will definitely be back and bring friends with me.
Overall, was very good. Our original dessert had hair baked into it (it happens!), but they offered us free dessert. The zucchini muffin was tasty and they had an assortment of cakes, cupcakes, macaroons and pastries. Would come back again.
Great place to relax, enjoy cup of coffee and select French pastries. Can't go wrong with anything you choose.it's just matter what you craving at the moment. Biscotti were absolutely to die for, cant remember tasting anything like that anywhere. See photos. Decorated lovingly inside the wide, bright and open space. Reasonably priced too.
Blueberry scones are half the size now. Just a regular size for $6. Ridiculous prices.
Lemon meringue tarts have shrank too. I mean it's good but not for the portion you get. Plenty of bakeries on the same level with much better portion sizes elsewhere in Leslieville.
My favourite go-to bakery in the city! Thank you for making many of our family birthday cakes for the last decade. Your service is always incredible xo
I bought a Chocolate Raspberry cake today for Easter dessert. Visually, the cake was really cute—everyone loved the look and was so excited to try it!
However, this was one dry and bland cake! The crumb was dense, firm and not very flavourful. The icing was similarly lacking in flavour, except for the pink rosettes on the top which had an underwhelming raspberry kick. We had a lot of cake left over and no one wanted to take it home, and I think it ended up in the bin. When I think chocolate raspberry, I imagine silky, rich chocolate being cut by a fruity, fresh, maybe tart berry flavour, and this cake just didn't deliver.
Cane in looking for Apple crumble but then I got overwhelmed with the options so I actually forgot to ask about the crumble. I did end up getting the Apple Cider & a Sprinkle cookie. The cider was good, just could be hotter (it was just warm) and the cookie was good, soft chewy. I would like to come back again
They ruined our family lunar new year dinner. My wife ordered a macaron tower and cake for over $350, but when we arrived for pick-up they couldn’t find our order, they literally just forgot about it. Apparently they didn’t deliver it to the shop. They tried making it up by giving us some macarons but it’s not the same as the tower. Will never order from here ever again.
Was blatantly ignored by four staff on shift who chose to converse with each other instead of greeting me or taking my order. Bizarre comments made publicly by these same staff, which is either a clear lack of training or just sheer incompetence (talking to each other about their horoscope instead of friendly conversation with me, a paying customer?) Gonna take my business elsewhere, lots of good coffee options on the neighbourhood luckily.
We always stop by Bobbette and belle when ever we come to Toronto from Montreal, as they have the best sweet treat in the city. Last Sunday we went to grab coffee and some treats for our friends dinner party and was thoroughly impressed by the service provided by the guy. There was a huge lineup and only a girl working at the counter. A guy came in after a while and despite a long line of customers waiting to be served, this individual worked tirelessly to ensure that each person was attended to in a prompt and efficient manner. This employee was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer any questions I had about the products. Their attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile to provide exceptional customer service was truly remarkable. Then another lady jumped in to help they worked quickly, but never sacrificed quality for speed. I was thoroughly impressed by their professionalism and how they were able to laugh looking at each other in such a busy pace and the level of care they took with each customer. The overall shopping experience was made much more enjoyable thanks to these employee's hard work and dedication to providing top-notch service. I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for a sweet treats.
