Bulgogi - And then another small shop that packs enormous flavours in their bulgogi, salty yet sweet, with a generous side of rice and stir-fried veggies for a delectable, well-balanced diet. Most importantly, they're both quite cheap.

Great if you are in a hurry and are craving some bibimbap. Little confused with the inclusion of fresh shredded iceberg lettuce

Timely service and food, prices seem to have risen over the last four or so months. Food was really tasty

So fresh, and so tasty! Perfect place for a quick lunch (not much space to sit so take out is the best option). I had the spicy beef bulgogi with rice and it was so good! I usually don't do too spicy but I was okay with this level of spice and enjoyed my lunch! Can't wait to try their other options! And the portions are big too!

Very nice service and they make your meal fresh. The food was great value for the price, but the spicy bulgogi wasn't all that spicy.

Very authentic Korean food. Not your typical bulgogi with teriyaki sauce. It's done right and it's done by right people. They are not the most kind folks but the food is good. I wish to see the free soup badly.:)

A quick and easy take-out spot close to Financial District that serves authentic Korean flavours! I love the beef bulgogi. It's quite filling and is served hot and fresh. There are a few seats available inside but most people take it to-go.

They don't have a super diverse menu, but they also have bibimbap and miso soup, as well as additional toppings if you want to add something else to your order. I come back here often when I crave their sweet bulgogi sauce!

Came here for lunch and got the beef bulgogi. It was by far the best bulgogi I've had. The small restaurant doesn't have much seating so takeout is the primary option. But the food is authentic and flavourful whether you're getting mild or spicy.

Went yesterday for the first time as I work down the street. Went back again today because it was so good I just needed to have more. I had the Spicy Beef Bulgogi Noodles. Really good, made to order, takes about 5-10 mins to get your food depending on how busy it is but honestly so worth it and its an efficient process. Only about 6 inside, 3 along the windows, and 3 along the front of the food prep area. Can't compliment the food/service enough. This will be on my regular lunchtime rotation.

Bob is a man of his word, he serves up a very solid lunch time takeout version of bulgogi and Bi Bim Bap. I quite enjoyed as a quick meal that is part way between healthy and flavourful.

It’s a good amount of food, fresh and clean. Service is quick and nice.
But if you’re looking for flavour from the tofu bibimbap you’re better off elsewhere. Was surprised that the dish is primarily shredded carrots, lettuce, cabbage—and that gives you a pretty good sense of the flavour. Only saving grace was the tofu that were tasty mini-patties with some sauce on them.
Rest of the dish or egg had not a drop of the typical Korean spicy sauce (gochujang). Nor any kimchi mix or any seasoning on the fresh veges save some sesame oil/vinegar on the rice.
While it’s not bad, it’s unfortunately very disappointing for a Korean dish. Def expected better.

Recommend for a quick and affordable Korean comfort meal. We tried the spicy beef bulgogi and beef bibimbap. Both were authentic and tasty and the price was reasonable. Lots of fresh veg in the bibimbap and it was plated nicely. Owner was nice as well.

If you're looking to dine in, be aware that the dining area consists of two counters with barstools and the area is not very large. The smell from the kitchen also travels so your clothing will smell like bulgogi by the end of your meal. Just something to note if you're returning to the office or meeting people afterwards.

Had a spicy vegan "tofu" bulgogi on noodles. It was great! Next time, I'll ask for extra spicy. They also have Bibimbap and Bulgogi on rice. Friendly owners, reasonable prices and quick service. I highly recommend the place for anyone who loves Korean food.

Ordered here twice now and have tried the beef, the chicken, and both the rice and the noodle base. Excellent savoury flavor, good balance between wet and dry, and a reasonable portion size (that is, not enough to choke a horse but enough to fill you up even when you're hungry).

A gem in the neighborhood! I love this cozy little eatery. Always great service and excellent food. Only wish you were open later on more days!

Great small spot downtown.delicious flavor packed noodles.good portions could use a bit more meat but nonetheless still a great meal.perfect if you're walking but if you're driving finding parking is not fun.still a must try spot in the city definitely recommended!

I am a big believer in small menus like the one at Bob’s because it’s almost a guarantee that whatever they offer, it’s of high quality & done right. I was not disappointed!
We ordered the Beef Bibimbap (extra meat) & Bulgogi with Noodles (with an egg). Both were fresh, made to order, and delicious! The Bibimbap wall full of fresh veggies prepared that day and the beef (marinated ribeye slices) were so tender and flavourful.
Both orders came with a complementary Miso soup, which was a nice touch. Will definitely return!

We like this place, seems like an authentic Korean restaurant. We ordered chicken bibimbap and shrimps bibimbap. The vegetables was freshly crop. The sauce is nice. The chicken bit was a little bit try. Shrimps are good. We might try beef next time.

We had lunch at Bob’s Bulgogi for the first time. We were meaning to try this place for such a long time and wow it was worth the wait. Hot, fresh ingredients and fantastic taste. We had the bibimbap and spicy beef bulgogi with rice. Already can’t wait to return.

Great for takeout. Service was excellent and very friendly owners. Looking forward to going back

Not the best, the service was quick and very friendly, even got a free miso soup with my order but I wasn't too satisfied with my order. I got rice with beef and veggies. Turns out veggies is just cabbage, the beef/sauce wasn't very flavourful, over all the taste was quite disappointing. Do not really see much reason to give this another try but perhaps I will in the future

Tried the chicken bulgogi with noodles. Portion size seemed on the small side but still reasonable. I can understand it hasn't been easy for them during the pandemic. That said, it was well cooked and very flavourful. The cashier was really nice to offer me miso soup while waiting for the dish to be prepared. I would go back to try their other dishes and support them.

The place was empty the person behind the counter was courteous and the food was created and served to me hot relatively quickly, I have been here before and I recommend it if you like to have something unusual but delicious, There is no seating ever as it is very small, You can get it with little spice or extra spice but overall very delicious

Fast and delicious meal. Decent portions and authentic Korean food. I really enjoy their bibimbap. Be careful going in to order can cause you to smell like korean BBQ.

Ordered a simple beef bulgogi and white rice. While tasty, it felt like there was more cabbage than beef and I paid for extra meat. Will try hotter flavors next time but portion was good and filling.

I work nearby. I followed my nose. A wonderful smell brought me to a little walk-in restaurant. Smells good. Tastes better. I always get the same thing, spicy beef bulgogi on rice. Comes with a little miso soup as well. Pre covid, this spot would have a lineup out the door. Love it.

This is a nice and clean family run place that I have recently discovered. It really is a hidden gem. Great place for quick, but healthy eats.

This is a small hidden gem downtown. I had never had Korean food before and my colleague had introduced this place to me. The portions are huge and filing. I had one of the rice bulgogi bowls. It was incredibly flavourful and sweet. Inside is very small, but there are a few little stools for you to eat at - however, during Covid it's takeout only. It's definitely a great spot for quick takeout and smells so delicious even from down the street.

One of my go-to lunch spots in the financial district. Small mom/pop style restaurant selling bulgogi & bibimpab (Korean food) with friendly service. Could go for more meat in the servings to get that extra star.

It's a very nice take out place. They offer Korean food and it's of the kind.
The place is crowded so the wait is probably more.

Delicious Korean food! Love the fact they care enough to put a wax paper between food and styrofoam container. Hot food usually melts part of the styrofoam; it’s nice to know I’m not eating styrofoam here! Yummy!

Easy ordering. Long wait. More sauce required. Better ventilation would be a good thing. Will be going back many times. Sooo delicious. Best in tha hood

Delicious bulgogi in a bit of a hidden spot. I understand it was recently renovated. Not much seating so it's more of a takeout spot.

Honestly, best hidden gem in the City. Small little store but amazing quick food. Love this place, go almost weekly. Strongly recommend

Good takeout place for lunch. It's a small place so be sure to come early or be prepared to wait. Prices are very reasonable for downtown. The menu is sparse, having bulgogi with rice/noodle and bibambop.

They changed their management and it's really really really bad now. $$$ went up, quality down and person taking the order is rude.

The food was ok, similar to food court korean food- not that authentic. Portion is below average. Flavour Is not bad, i would say average. Hot sauce is watered down for a bit. Overall i would rate 3 stars. The reason i am rating it 1 because i paid for extra veges and i didnt get the extra veges. I called them back and addressed this issue and the girl on the phone acted like she didnt understand. Overall would not go back due to lack of integrity and bad customer service experience.

Got the beef bulgogi. Comes with white rice and the bulgogi is mixed with a cabbage/kimchi mixture. Good value for the portion you get especially in the Downtown Core.

I always get the tofu noodles and they are amazing. It's busy at lunch but the food is definitely worth the wait.

I walk passed by and attracted by the smell on the street. It is beyond my expectation of a $10 meal. Taste good. Enough portion.

Good food just don’t go between 12 and 1 or you’ll have to wait extremely long for your order. Had to wait 30mins before food was ready

Spicy beef bulgogi is great! Noodles are thick and decently filling. Could be a tad spicier but it's a great meal especially for the price and quantity given. If this place had more seating it would be packed all the time. The only two small benches and bar bench doea not welcome those that have no where else to eat. Also, you would think that the staff would bring the food to the bench that's a few feet away to have better customer service but once your order is ready they just call it. This small change would make it much more personalized and does not take much effort. Would still return to try other menu items.

Figured it must be good given how slammed their tiny space is every day at lunch and it does not disappoint. This is a tasty, filling lunch for around ten bucks and I think it beats the pants off of a lot of other options in the area in the same price range. Hats off to the staff for staying cool under pressure every day as well.

Quality takeout lunch place - great value for the money. There can be a bit of a wait and they're not on ritual, which makes me visit them a little less often than I'd like.
