Bob's Scuba Shop

Went into your store for a new mask only to find your NO RETURNS NO EXCHANGES POLICY. This effectively keeps me out as a customer.what if I spend $200 on a new mask: I have lost all my money. Best to order from the internet and take your chances rather than buy from a STORE THAT WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO CHECK THE MASK OUT IN A SWIMMING POOL. I rented one of their masks to try it but all of the used masks do not reflect their inventory. Beside the $73 mask I tried out had overall less durability than the one I bought 5 years ago.

My son just finished his open water certification with Robin and her team. Robin was very accommodating when we had to job reschedule my son’s open water dives.
Marco and Jay created a laid back atmosphere during the open water dives and made sure everyone was at ease! Bud was also great fun during the pool sessions! A great experience!

Needed new prescription lenses in new goggles. Visit to optical store was not the best solution. Visit to Bob's Scuba Shop in Hamilton proved to be well worth it. Robynne was very knowledgeable about masks AND lenses. Without being pushy, she suggested mask types, colours, etc.all to good effect. On top of that, they inserted new prescription lenses within 24 hours. The whole experience was professional, informative and very satisfactory. I can highly recommend Bob's Scuba Shop or any of your snorkelling or diving needs.

Bob's is one of the best dive shops that I have had the pleasure of dealing with, prior to signing up for scuba lessons I looked into various shops and found Bob's to be the most pleasant and friendly to work with. Bud, Robin and my instructors Brian and Marco made my experience and introduction to the sport one of the best things I've ever done. I had a lot fun and great laughs along the way. I'm new to the scuba world and have recently taken my Open Water course through Bob's. It was an amazing experience and the team at the shop are experienced, and professional. I have signed up for the Advanced Open Water course and will be diving in the spring and looking forward to taking more courses with them as i gain experience. Customer service, product selection is top notch and Robin is very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. I recommend this shop to anyone who is looking to get into the sport.

Can't beat Bobs scuba shop! Bought bcd, regulator, and dive watch from here. Robin was extremely helpful and knowledgeable with finding what would suit me best. Aswell as always planning fun dives all around!

The owner was super helpful, knowledgable and very patient! My friend and I stopped by last weekend to pick up some snorkling gear.for an upcoming trip I have never been snorkling, so trying to choose the right equipment was overwhelming. The owner explained each aspect to me and talked about the pros and cons of each peice. I ended up leaving the store with a pair of fins, mask and snorkle! Joined a pool session last minute to check out some new gear before a trip south. Very professional from the initial email, the visit to the shop to pick up tank and weights and the helpful tips from the instructor in the pool. I know if I need any more pool sessions or equipment, Bobs will be on my goto list.

Amazing friendly service both on the phone and in person. I was able to get a last minute bathing suit in the winter before my vacation. They had a great size selection and the price was right.

Went in for snorkelling fins. Came out with a whole new matchy matchy kit! More than I intended on spending but good quality stuff. I should be set for a long time.and looking good on the beach too! Thanks for the personal attention. Very much appreciated.

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I went to get a wetsuit and other dive gear, and was greeted by a lovely little puppy. Great was reasonably priced and selection was decent. Got everything I needed, which I didn't expect since the storefront is so tiny. Lovely experience and I would definitely go back.

I originally signed up for PADI's Open Water Diver course back in July 2018 with another dive shop since they were closer to my house. However, the hours and service I got with them almost caused my course to expire. When I switched over to Bob's Scuba, everything went much more smoothly. Robin was very friendly and polite to me everytime I saw her or spoke with her. She is patient with anyone who walks in the shop and she even contacted PADI on my behalf to answer any questions I had for them. The shop hours were much more flexible and the dive and rental equipment prices were much cheaper than other dive shops. The dive instructor, Brian, was fantastic as well. Overall, my diver training experience was much better, more stress-free and was made possible thanks to Bob's Scuba Shop. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to get diving training and certification!

Amazing SCUBA shop. BEST customer service. Robin is great. Anything you need for your SCUBA requirements and great shopping experience. I got my license through Bob’s in 1998 and recently went in to buy some new gear. Robin made the process easy and enjoyable. Will be back there for all my diving needs.

Recently moved to Hamilton and was so happy to have found this dive shop. Great atmosphere, location, value, and service. Staff is very knowledgeable regarding new equipment and maintenance, instruction and travel. I plan to have my kids certified though Bob's.

Something different. I wanted to try a mouth piece to wear at night to help eliminate air escape from my mouth doe to CPAC pressures. Service was excellent and quick and friendly. Thank you for great service.

The real Bob was better and cheaper. I did not receive good treatment or price and now shop out of town.

Robin was very helpful when we were inquiring about snorkel gear. Spent valuable time explaining how equipment works, took the time with face masks to make sure of a proper fit, same with fins and different styles of snorkel. Even offered lessons if we have difficulty practicing at home in pool all summer prior to our vacation in October. Friendly and helpful. An added bonus was meeting the guard dog a friendly little cross breed. All in all a great experience and for a couple of extra bucks quality gear not cheap plastic like that at shopping centres. Take the extra time for the good stuff.
