Bolton Medical Imaging

Just had a mammogram and I think that says it all. As a woman there are things we need another woman to have compassion about and this clinic is it. Always respectful of who you are clean, happy environment. Thank you ladies.

First time here, first time for a mammogram. Walked in with my requisition, and they took me instantly. This process is not fun but the technician I had made the experience as comfortable as she could. The front desk was very friendly as well.

Had the best experience for pregnancy ultrasound, they treat you so well and with such care. Aman handled my ultrasound sessions and she was blessing to have to, such compassion and care towards the parents to be. She cleared all the doubts with such patience and genuineness.if you are first time mother/parents, this place is great.

I did not have a good experience with my first trimester baby ultrasound here. They rushed me in, and told my fiancé he could not come with me and claimed they had to make sure the “baby was okay” before he could come in? Which set a tone of discomfort immediately. They didn’t explain any of the procedure and didn’t let me see the screen. They then did a trans vaginal ultrasound where the technician again did not walk me through what she was doing while inside me and didn’t let me see the screen at all. At the end I told her I wanted my fiancé to see our first
Child together. She pulled me off the pillow, taking the paper with it so my bare bottom was cold on the table with nothing under it and then rushed my fiancé and I in to
Show us quickly only a few seconds of our ultrasound. I even had to ASK to see the screen and have it pointed to me as I hadn’t even seen my own baby at that point my fiancé saw before I did. When I asked questions at the end she completely disregarded me and told me everything would be in the report. I felt rushed and completely let down for the first experience of connecting with my first pregnancy. I won’t be going back.

Great! Took me in at exactly my appointment time, technician was amazing and kind and sending my results to my doctor in rush because the other clinic I had an appointment at (which was horrible - cancelled 30’ minutes before my appointment - even though I only had a few days left to get my anatomy scan, with a long weekend coming up). Bolton imaging took me right away once they knew my situation and provided excellent service. Thank you, thank you!

I was able to call and get an appt same day for my young daughter. I was so grateful as I didn't want to wait days to get her seen. She had to have a full bladder (which is hard for a 6 year old!) so when we showed up they all scrambled and reworked their other patients to get my daughter in right away. The tech was very nice and helped relax my daughter.

I had an excellent experience here for my ultrasound. The technician (Sadaf, I believe) was kind, patient, organized and made me feel very relaxed. The clinic had dim lighting and, as a very thoughtful bonus, even had warmed ultrasound gel! My appointment was on time and I would be happy to make a drive to this clinic if I had to; I'm just lucky to live only a few minutes away. Thank you for making imaging a less clinical and more personable experience.

Clinic has called multiple times to cancel my appointment after continuously re booking to their schedule. Very unprofessional.

Have had three ultrasounds here so far, and each experience has been really positive. They are prompt and so nice. Really easy to book appointments in advance, and the schedule is really flexible.

This is the best X-ray & ultrasound clinic in Brampton. Staff made me feel welcomed and comfortable. I was able to get my tests done quickly. Extremely reliable service and friendly staff. Overall I would recommend this clinic to anyone looking to get an ultrasound or an x-ray

I have been very pleased with Bolton Imaging for my pregnancy ultrasounds. Both technicians I have seen have been very kind and patient with all my questions. They also always give me free pictures of my baby. The play music and dim the lights for an ambient and relaxing ultrasound experience. I am very grateful for their customer service focus and we even received a free 3D ultrasound because I have been booking my appointments there. To be honest, I booked them there because I like them, I didn’t even know it would get me a free 3D ultrasound!
Much recommend!

In search of a clinic that I could get a mammogram and ultrasound before July 2022, I found the Bolton Medical Building. I got an appointment on April 1,2022.

There were many positive reviews about staff being organized, helpful and polite. The clinic being clean and in order. But what stood out for me, were the numerous of posts about the mammogram process not being painful.

Never having had one and only hearing horror stories from women, I thought at least if the mammogram is not like the posts say, the rest of my visit at this clinic should be pleasant.

Right from my call asking if they were running on time was pleasant. Btw, I was early. I let them know I’d rather wait in the car due to COVID19 and they understood and said they would call when it was my turn.

Once inside they were again very lovely and pleasant.

As described, the clinic was in order, clean and warm. I also felt a sense of calm while being there. This I appreciated, considering some of the tests that we need done.

I the met with Loucine and she did my mammogram. She was so friendly and sweet, I felt again a wave of calmness. She positioned me as needed and then brought in the machinery to take the images. We chatted through the process, which I really enjoyed.
I have to agree with the other reviews I read about the mammogram not being painful. For me it did not (I have dense breasts).
Loucine did a fantastic job. Thank you for taking such good care of me.

(Note: I’ve been told by several women that the clinics they went to (not BMI), they were forced to be on the tips of their toes during the entire time. Not only did the process of taking the images hurt, but they had to balance and not move.) My feet were flat on the ground.

Next was my ultrasound with Shirin and she too was friendly and professional. She also handled the areas to be worked on with care. Again I experienced no pain.

It is important how patients are treated during their stay, often we are worried or scared. I was impressed and I appreciated the care that I received.

Thank you to all the staff of BMI for the great service and the easy transition from once one test to another.

My partner and I booked this place specifically because the staff is awesome. We drove an hour to get here and it was well worth it. We came here for an ultrasound of our unborn child. The first person to do our ultrasound was Riffad. He provided us with very nice images of our child and he was kind and patient with any questions we had. For our last  ultrasound we had Sadaf. She was extremely patient and extremely friendly. She made sure my partner was comfortable and all of that. I highly recommend this place these two ultrasound technicians are top quality and do their job well. The images they took will forever be in our lives and we have these two to thank for such an epic and beautiful keep sake of our child. Thanks again to both of you

Service was quick and very friendly. Imaging technician “Sadaf” was super friendly during the ultra sound. Also answered all my questions. Other bonus is it’s close to home. Highly recommended

I saw Sadaf for my ultrasound. She was friendly, professional and efficient.

I had all my pregnancy ultrasounds here. The one ultrasound technician basically told me I was too dumb to understand anything at my 20 week scan. I think most people could figure out what they were looking at. I had said very little at my appointment.
Don't go here, go somewhere they are nice to people.

I’ve had many ultrasounds there and always with technician named Rifat! He is extremely nice and makes you feel very comfortable. Takes time at the end to show you baby and explain everything! I Highly recommend this clinic to all my pregnant friends!

Bolton imaging is the best in the GTA. They are always timely, rooms are clean, front desk is personable and techs are truly amazing. Rifat is the best ultrasound tech out there and always takes his time. He is kind and makes you feel comfortable and safe. My ultrasound technician was excellent! They will even print a picture of baby and allow your spouse in at the end to see baby. Highly recommend

They made a very comfortable environment for me. The ultra sound with Sadaf was very very nice. All the staff are very nice and on time. Thank you all.

I came here for a pelvis ultrasound which is a very sensitive and vulnerable procedure. I was extremely disturbed by my experience. First, I was made to wait 15-20 minutes with a very full bladder (which was required for the procedure) and was very uncomfortable.

The technician was extremely rude, she didn't even say hi to me, she declined my small talk, and generally made me feel unwelcome. She was very rough when performing the ultrasound, and also used unnecessary force when inserting and removing the device from me. The technician quite literally shoved the device inside me, and then ripped it out after. It was very painful and uncomfortable. I have had this same procedure done at other offices and it was never painful.

No steps at all were taken to ensure my comfort, or to make me feel valued as a human being. STAY AWAY!

The place was very clean and the reception were friendly. I was able to book an appointment online. Overall a great experience.

Clinic offers a time efficient service, I had no delay in my appointment. The staff is very friendly and caring who booked my appointment within minutes despite their busy schedule. The doctors are well versed in their line of work and are very friendly to patients. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Been here a few times for prenatal ultrasound and always have had an amazing experience. The only clinic that allowed my husband in to see our baby and never gave us a problem. The images were always clear and the staff always made sure I was comfortable. Super patient during the exams and very accommodating for booking in. Highly recommend 3D ultrasound here as well!

Absolutely amazing staff! My first baby and they made everything go so smooth! My tech was Rafaat when I did my 12 weeks & he was AMAZING! So informative for what he could tell me took the best pictures of our little peanut! I already booked with him for my 20 week & my complementary 3D ultrasound! Great job & the lady at the desk which I didn’t get her name was amazing! Made my day great!:)

First visit to bolton medical imaging and the process was excellent. With Covid, check in involves your temperature being taken and physical distancing but was quick and efficient. My technician, Parminder, was right on time and did an excellent job in making me comfortable throughout the scan. One of the best experiences I've had going to a lab. Everything on time and everyone was professional and friendly. Highly recommend.

Super friendly staff everyone is very nice! I have gone here for all my ultrasounds. Even went for a 3D ultrasound which was free.

I have to start by saying this is pregnancy #3, so I’m not new to ultrasounds. What was new was my experience! Every ultrasound I’ve done has been through the hospital, but with the ever changing rules about your experience at the hospital (which got more negative every time) not being able to get a photo, find out gender or have your partner present -especially for first time parents I decided to try booking my appointment for myself through the Bolton clinic.
First, amazing job during covid all precautions taken.
Secondly, so relaxing! They had calm music playing during my entire ultrasound which is so different than the hospitals! The attendant was so kind and respectful he was male (which would never bother me) but for review rest assured he was very professional.
My partner was able to come in and see the baby, even taking the time to explain what he was seeing! We got photos printed and the gender written in an envelope for us! Way beyond any hospital I’ve been to.
The ladies at the front were so happy and kind as well. Even helping us figure out our gender reveal so we could keep it a surprise.
I would hands down book here again, and wish I had for all of my pregnancies. Especially during this difficult time having the extra steps taken to make the experience the best it can be makes all the difference!

My experience with Bolton imagining was very pleasant with the all the staff that took care of me. They are very professional but I would like to add they are very caring frontline Doctors and do deserve our greatest thanks as to what they face day in and day out thank you all including the staff members who also face daily challenges.

I have always had a great experience with Bolton Medical Imaging. The front desk is polite and prompt and very organized with new covid guidelines.

My last Ultrasound Technician was Nadia Ahmed and was very kind and attentive. Thank you Nadia!

My experience with this place was pretty nice. Nadia Ahmed is very nice and gave answers to all of my questions very politely.

I saw a Russian girl technician years ago, and she was amazing. She is more knowledgeable than the average gynecologist specialist doctor. I don’t need a gynecologist any more. I often take her advices instead.
But the other Punjabi female technician was really really bad.

This place is the worst. Constantly not forwarding results or you will have to go somewhere else to redo your mammogram/x-ray/ultrasound because they don't do a good job.

Was sent for ultrasounds and radiographs on both knees. Booked an appointment and got in within two days, front desk was polite and efficient.
Appointment time was for 10: 00 and they were 20 minutes late, not the worst wait time but still irksome.

The female ultrasound technician was in a HURRY. She was annoyed that my scrub pants wouldn't roll up and that I took 20 seconds to remove them. She seemed adept, but the proof will be in the images. When we were finished she was further annoyed that I wanted to remove the copious amounts of gel before putting my pants back on.

Another 10 minute wait for the male radiography technician, who was a delight and very kind and quick with the process. Again, the proof will be in the images and I'll update with the results.

No huge complaints aside from the wait, the brusque manner of the ultrasound lady, and the fact that the lead shields don't *appear* to be sanitized between patients.

Overall staff is friendly and they provide quick bookings for ultrasounds. Wait times are relatively low compared to other places especially for ultrasound. Booking online is the best way since they call you with your appointment. They are doing some renovations and modernizing the place.

1st I was uncomfortable with the fact the 2 staff (receptionists I think a technician) behind the glass were not wearing masks. Covid protocol for these staff members were lacking. To the point where I had to say somthing was given a dirty look and then they put there masks back on. This place has rude staff members and what seems very outdated ultrasound machines.

Receptionist was very polite and clear, however, the X-ray technologist was nonverbal and pushy. He even called me by the wrong name. The process was quick, but it being my first X-ray, I felt uncomfortable with the flippant attitude of the technologist.

The 'technician' or extremely young and unknowledgeable person on the phone first booked my EFTS ultrasound too late as there is a specific time period to do in, then I called to reschedule it and unfortunately it was on the last day I was eligible to do the ultrasound, the evening before they call me to cancel my appt and have no alternatives and basically I missed the time to have this ultrasound, The staff are completely useless and even unapologetic. Save yourself and go somewhere were they actually care and wont literally leave you hanging - most unprofessional service I have had in awhile from a medical operation

My wife had some complications with her pregnancy. She went to the hospital three different times in 1 day. She had an appointment for the day after at this horrid place and it was mandatory she get the ultrasound done asap. They called her and cancelled the appointment. After explaining the severity of the situation they didn't accomodate and would not help. Disgusting people and a terribly run business. Gross.

Terrible service, disorganized, did someone else's ultrasound on me, figured out wrong area for ultrasound. Put me back in waiting room than said I have to wait till they are free for me again. It is not the clients responsibility to re wait for their administrative errors. Will never recommend

The experience was excellent! The front desk receptionists were very nice and understanding! They're following the COVID19 guidelines and ensuring proper measures were taken.

Lagging and compassionate management of COVID. My wife is pregnant so we went in for our first ultrasound and I was not allowed entry. We both had masks and the region is in Stage 3, yet they still refused to let me in. What's worse is that there was no advanced notice given until we arrived. Very disappointing experience.

The recieptionest is the rudest lady i have ever in my life seen in a professional place. She has given attitude to ever person who has walked in and u should hear her on the phone its horrible. She deserves to be fired and this whole office needs to have a profesional person come in and access the clinic. DO NOT GO HERE. This is the clinic located inside horrible horrible horrible if anyone has any info giving in a higher complaint please send me a message

First of all, congratulations to all the moms and fathers to be reading this review. If you have husbands who are like me and want to be a part of the ultrasound experience, do not go to this imaging centre. We performed 4 ultrasounds at this location and at times I was allowed in, and in others I was not. Some technicians are nice but most of them are rude. I wasn’t surprised when I read a lot of negative reviews about this place. The technicians do not include the husbands in any conversation about the imaging, they don’t even look at you in the face. They don’t offer any picture print outs like most places do. Ultrasound technicians should be more human and compassionate; they should understand the level of excitement a couple is going through but instead they are very cold and disconnected. Do not go to this centre unless you want to ruin what can be, a beautiful life experience. You have been warned.

I had to get an ultrasound for my gallbladder and I was happy with how patient and kind Monika was, she reassured me everything was fine and that made the process go a lot quicker. I'll be honest I may have had a child and went through all the poking and proding before having after issues always puts me in a worried state. Thank you again Monika for making the experience better

It's dissapointing that many Dr's in Bolton are asking thier patients to go out of town. Who ever does the ultrasounds here does a terrible job and gives back terrible reports to the Dr's. This frustrates patients because now we have to do it twice and go somewhere else and do it again

Don’t waste your precious time on this place. It is very quick to get an appointment but I would rather wait than have results come back that are inaccurate. I have gall stones I’ve had for years they said were gone but now I have kidney stones (which I definitely do not have). That is only one example. I’m not sure how they can misdiagnose so many things but I will never go back to this location. This location needs to be reported and investigated. How one could confuse gall stones with kidney stones has me baffled. Go to the hospital for all your medical imaging, the staff there is trained properly and you will get an accurate diagnosis.

Very impressed. I was unable to get an appointment at a clinic in Orangeville (wait time was 2 weeks) or Guelph (even longer wait time) for an ultrasound.

I called the Bolton Imaging clinic and they were able to fit me in the very next day.

I attended and the staff were friendly. I did not have to wait long at all - perhaps about 3 minutes, before the ultrasound tech person called me in. He was very pleasant, advised me about what would happen next, and when my doctor would receive their report.

Highly recommended, even though an extra drive for me.

Terrible service. Was there for 1 hour and 45 minutes for my 12 week ultrasound. Monika was the technician. Was pressing so hard on my stomach I was getting sharp pain. Didn’t want her to feel bad and said I was sensitive. But it wasn’t me. She was pushing so damn hard I was getting horrible pain. Rushed me out at the end and told me she was going to give me paperwork and a photo but she didn’t. While she was waiting for me to come back from the washroom she already put another patient in the room and locked me in the room with the patient. The patient asked her if she could let me leave and she was just so dumbfounded by what she did. I left the room with no papers or pictures cause she rushed me. I had to ask the receptionist for all my information and papers which I had to wait for for another five minutes. I left the clinic realizing that they still hadn’t given me my photo and I had to go back. I told the receptionist everything that happened with the technologist. I will never come here again. So unprofessional!

Had 2 pregnancy ultrasounds here (one at 18 weeks and one at 31 weeks). Both times, I had a different technician and they were both very nice and pretty thorough (even though technicians are not required to tell you anything during the ultrasound). Never had to wait long for my appointments either.

DO NOT DO ULTRASOUNDS HERE! I went for an ultrasound to confirm my first pregnancy. The technician was rude, and actually laughed and question why we were going for an ultrasound so early. I had a requisition from our doctor which is why we went. The entire time she didn’t speak once, didn’t explain what she was looking at and huffed and puffed as if she was annoyed the whole time. Once she was finished she stold me to get dressed and said NOTHING ELSE. I had to question if everything was okay! If anyone is expecting do NOT go to this clinic. Worst first experience as new parents.

My wife went there for ultrasound. She refused to give ultrasound pictures and said take pictures in your phone. She didnt even use machine to listen baby's heart beat.i wouldn't recommend anybody to go there.

I've had an x-ray on my shoulder and ultrasound on my neck and am gladly go back for further work. They were quick and accurate with no BS.

I find it amusing that people on here are complaining about lack of pictures. (A pregnancy would be the only time I would think is an exception) I have been to many a place and I've always had to take pics with my phone IF they even let me. Youre lucky if they talk to you on the subject as they have a liability if they do so. Its up to your GP to do the explanation, etc.
