Bom Dia Café & Bakery

I came here the other day, the ambiance was tastefully fruity.there was a cupcake i got that was just sugar, but it was it good. I am so diabetic i would’ve appreciate if the cashier wasn’t so sweet…;) ghee whiz i need insulin just to get into him! - worldstarmoney signing off

We came for a breakfast and a hot drink, but what my partner didn't know was that we also came for birthday cupcakes for him!

Staff pulled it off perfectly, delivering his cupcakes to our table in secret with a really sweet birthday wish on the bag. The breakfast was delicious, but the experience was even more special.

Also, a special shout out to the coffee and sour cream muffin; as my partner put it, "it's like every piece is the top of the muffin! "

Thank you for making our day special, and his birthday extra delicious. We appreciate your dedication to the surprise treat! Above and beyond, for sure.

You will get really incredible customer service here, and everything was perfect.

Great Cafe, came here on my way back home during Halloween and they had dome crazy cakes going! Snagged some pictures, and yes they were so good!

Went here for a quick bite. Got lava cake, tart, cod and mochachino. Lava cake was served cold. Not sure if that's how they serve it in Portugal. I just didn't expect it. The Portuguese tart was too sweet. Mochachino felt diluted. The cod was good though.

There are major consistency issues. I have ordered the same cupcake 5 times and each time it was different - sometimes there was filling other times not, sometimes there were nuts baked in, sometimes the frosting was dipped in chocolate. It was never bad but when you really like something and want to order again it's incredibly disappointing for it to never be the same.

Good size coffee cups and a wide variety of baked goods. Cookies, muffins, cakes, sandwiches and more.

The staff is not there to work and prepare orders, just have fun with each other! No service!

I’ve come here many times as I live down the street. Great coffee all the time, great baked items most of the time. Their baked goods are on the pricier side and usually it’s worth it (they are beautiful and delicious). But, I’ve had a couple cases where the items were just okay or even borderline not good. A couple times out of the many items I’ve tried isn’t bad, but that’s why I’m giving it 4 stars (especially given the price)

Update - Already loved this bakery, my fella and I frequently visit for coffee dates.
But recently I placed an order for a colleagues birthday.
They were able to have a fresh order of cupcakes ready for an early morning pickup for me.
They were beautiful but also delicious!
Love this Portuguese bakery.
They have a comfortable seating area on the second level, friendly quick service and great selection of sweets, sandwiches and drinks.

Just came back from Lisbon and ate dozens of pastel de nata.the ones from here could be from Lisbon- the right flaky crust, good depth to the custard, absolutely delicious. Obgrida for bringing me back!

I work just beside it and it is a great way to start my day. Amazing Portuguese bakery and café. The custard pies are to die for, the coffee is great and I love beginning my day with a warm bom dia!

I’ve been here a few times and I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve ordered. I usually get an iced vanilla latte which is my current fave there. And today I had an amazing almond croissant. The filling was the best part. Not the usual almond paste but something citrusy. It totally prompted me to write this review!

Very beautiful space with Portuguese delicacies and beyond. I highly recommend. Very friendly workers.

I’ve passed this place a few times and decided to grab some treats for a friend. The staff are all lovely and friendly. I bought three different cupcakes and was disappointed by all of them. Very dry bland cake and flavourless. Not worth the price

100% as good as Manteigaria or Pasteis de Belem. Less scenic than Lisboa obviously, but IYKYK with these guys.
