I travel all over the world for work and I happened upon this place by chance on a trip to Toronto and I can say hands down it's serves the best butter chicken I've ever had. Only wish it was closer to home for me.

My Husband and I have been going here for years. When Our children were still in car seats, we would bring them along while we dined on the chicken Tika, nan and lentils. It has been over 10 years and we still rate this as our favorite Indian cuisine. My children also adore Raj, they always look for him whenever we eat there, because he makes them feel so welcome even when the place is packed and he is running around getting everyone their order.

In truth, this is the the most authentic Indian food I’ve had in the GTA - it’s in Thornhill! Highly recommended, drop by if you’re in the 404/Highway 7 area.

The best Butter-Chicken in the city. It's a small family-owned business and the owner is really nice. You can adjust the spice to your liking. I highly recommend.

Always good food. For those who cannot take the spice the butter chicken is great; if not slightly too sweet. Did the Chicken Tikka Masala today and was great. Cash discount on takeout!

The butter chicken samosa’s were amazing! The chicken tikka was so delicious, I could taste the spices with each bite and the naans were soft and yummy.

The food was really good! The restaurant was too cold and dark. I had to use my phone screen light to look at the menu. The staff were ok not the best. The entrance was pretty bad and dirty, I almost left the restaurant. The smell of the restaurant was full of spices. It was quite, perhaps super quiet we were the only diners. I really liked the butter chicken. They have mild options but they are still kinda spicy.

Talk about sticker/bill shock - over priced and under delivered. 100$ for a few veg snacks eq 15$ for BHEL puri, chaba bhatura w/ one bhatura $16, aloo tikki 15$, samosa chaat $13,3 small pieces of fish with plain rice (didn’t ask for rice) $24 … the restaurant was in shambles, papers littered all over, heat lamps, totally unorganized, saw a real estate agents lock on counter, no menu was given, just verbal order, and staff were even ashamed when confronted with bill
They knew the price gouging was happening. Gave 1 star because nothing lower: no owner / manager avbl - never go there again and discourage anyone to go there

This is barnone our favorite restaurant. I can't say enough to express how special it really is.

Raj is the face of Bombay Bhel, he's an amazing passionate owner and welcoming host.

The food here alone is worth 5 stars. You must try the tandoori prawns, butter chicken, butter chicken samosas and garlic Naan.

But if I could account for everything else. The atmosphere, the friendly staff, the sense of care. It would be 10/5.

Amazing service! We had the appetizer platter and vindaloo. Everything was absolutely delicious and the naan was so fresh

My partner and I visited for a weekend lunch on the recommendation of a friend who described this as the “best Indian food in the city”. Even with those expectations, we were blown away: both the butter chicken and the korma were mouth-watering, and by far the best Indian food (and just all around food) my partner and I have ever tasted. The owner was serving our table and was a lovely man with an evident passion for his cuisine. We are already planning our next visit.

Amazing food and great service! Would recommend the butter chicken and the paneer tikka. They had big portions as well so keep in mind when you order.

Awesome food and serving staff very good at guiding the most novice amongst our group. Most flavorful Vindaloo I had in Canada for sure! And the Cheetah mango beer is a must!

This has been my favorite place since 2014. I returned to Canada after a few years, and for my first lunch outside I went to Bombay Bhel. Nothing has changed, apart from the staff. The lunch menu is appropriate in quantity and the quality is the best. You get to choose the level of spice from 1 to 5. I recommend this any time.

This spot is a go-to for great and tasty comfort food. Spiced to your taste, their butter chicken is a standout. The owner runs a friendly family environment. Pay it a visit if you're looking for Indian food.

The Food Quality is rich and very delicious and quality is what matters to them! There's veggie Harabhara kabab is worth trying.
