Bombay Frankie - The Original Bombay Roll

Very pathetic service! I ordered a Potato Frankie and a Bombay bhel a Pepsi and a Masala Chai. The order took nearly an hour. C'mon guys! An ideal Frankie gets prepared in 5 mins flat. Extremely disorganized. There were people who came after us, ate and left. We were sitting there waiting for our order. The food wasn't too great either for the record.
Extremely disappointed! 1 hour for the order says it all. The worst experience ever.

Nothing over here tastes like Mumbai.
Maska Bun - 0/5 - They fry the pau bhaji pau with butter and give the jam sachets at side. How can they even call it a Maska Bun?
Bombay Sandwich - 1/5 - You can just taste the chat masala or some sandwich masala they would have put on top. It was just over loaded with that and it was chocking in our throat. Since the sandwich was a take out order we could not replace it. We literally dumped the whole thing.
Veggie Puffs - 1/5 - Tasteless and very oily
Pau Bhaji - 2/5 - Tastes very Okaish. The only good part is they give 3 paus.
Panner Schezwan Frankie - 2/5 - Tastes very basic just like Home Made.
Schedzwan Chicken Frankie - 4/5 - The only good item so far. You can try that.

It’s a place of complete waste of money and very poor customer service. While ordering they asked us if we can wait till 30 mins than only they will take our order as that is there MAX time wait where as we got some of our items after 50 mins and than also of this bad taste and quality. I went here after seeing so many good reviews but my visit there on a busy Saturday Night was a complete failure.

The worst service I have ever had. They said food will be ready in 20 mins however, I got my food after 50 mins. Food was not good and was made in hurry.

One of the best place for perfect Bambiyaa street food. All of their dishes super finger licking good.

I tried a veg and non-veg Mumbai sandwich and the taste was below average. You guys should roam around and check how sandwiches are made in Mumbai. The batter used was the same in both sandwiches just non-veg had shredded chicken. Service here is super slow if you tried Dine-In.
Please check sandwiches made by other restaurants and try to match the taste. In my opinion I won't recommend some foodie. New bees can try their luck by just seeing 4 stars. ;)

I am really impressed how far this food joint has come along. The service is amazing, always has been. What can I say about food: from masala chai to pav Bhaji, vegetarian momos to paranthas. Everything is delicious and fresh. I really wish and hope they keep up the amazing standards! Good luck

Very good place for snacks and tea. Parking available in the basement. Go next to udupi madras cafe and call the number for Mumbai Frankie to come to restaurant from parking.

First of all, there was no parking space near to store, we have to go 500m away and pay for parking! Second we order paneer chilli frankie, taste wise it was not all good! I felt I am just have roti with paneer! Vegetable puffs was also not good! I don’t recommend this place! No taste of mumbai meri jaan!

Was looking out for Subway and came across this Frankie outlet accidentally.couldn't resist visiting this and to my surprise, it came out to be one of the most decent restaurants I have ever been to.very friendly staff, good vibes and amazing options on the menu.their sitting area is very spacious too. I ordered Chicken Green Chilli and Szechuan Frankies.although I planned to eat those when I reach at home but finished both on my way itself ;) keep it up guys.will visit again soon!

Terrible service! We were made to wait for over 45 minutes and noticed that people who ordered after us were being served. Additionally, the staff were unapologetic and rude when asked about the delay in receiving the order.

Sorry to say but taste was horrible according to the price everything is made of same stuffing I ordered puff samosas and sandwich everything is not good in taste

Food is delicious overall. We ordered Pav Bhaji, Muskabun and Chai and Aloo Frankie. TBH Pav bhaji was outstanding. Only disappointing thing was muskabun. Muskabun was served with regular pav which is served with bhaji (not original muskabun). To me Aloo Frankie was a bit bland as it had only Aloo mixture and very few veggies. Adding a few sauces and extra veggies will amplify the taste. Great idea of serving frankie with Paratha. I’ve been to the other places in GTA and most places serve frankie in a tortilla. Keep it up. Will visit next time for sure and tryout something different.

Disappointed with Irani chai. For God’s sake please change the name in your menu, it is misleading. Many others complain about it in their reviews but I didn’t believe them. I just ordered one tea, took them a while to prepare and honestly, time is still fine but it wasn’t worth. Sorry for harsh words and the tea itself was good as masala tea but really that drink is not called Irani tea. Unfortunately the detour I took all the way just to try the tea was a bad experience. I would love to change my review and give more stars if you ever change the name of your tea. Let me know if you ever do it, thanks

I ordered a Szechwan chicken cheese roll, gulab jamun and the chai—
They left a very kind note on my bag which I appreciated and the food was 10/10. Ubers service fees are ridiculous but I’m glad I ordered it. The roll was delicious and the chai was perfect. I gotta check this place out in person. (I also called and asked if the chicken was halal and they said yes)

Got an upset stomach after eating the food. I think they use stale and overly spicy ingredients. I enjoy spicy food, but there was something definitely wrong with their spices. Also seemed like the heating inside the restaurant was not working either. It was snowing outside and we were shivering even inside the restaurant. No wonder the restaurant was empty on a weekend. Uncomfortable ambience. Terrible food. Would not recommend.

First of all this place is not close to Irani Cafe of Bombay
Food no taste chai was stale everything is overpriced no heart and no touch of Irani mumbai Cafe

Great place. Enjoyed the food very simple yet very tasty.it takes you to the streets of Mumbai.
Have tried a few dishes will go back to try the rest. A Chai when you are driving in the cold weather keeps you warm.

Food is so tasty. Loved it spl. Aloo roll n mawa cake with rabadi.

As discussed over the phone, food was not great. Sorry to say this, tried cauliflower fried item which was having bad oil smell, ordered Veg puffs, frankies too. Frankies are like roti with paneer, you can make better one in the home, you don’t need to pay $15 for frankies. Interesting thing, you can order one, you will get with $15, good marketing starergy. Tea was okay.

Order food from this location. Tawa Pulao was old I can tell because rice was hard and cold. Frankie was good. Also sandwich was not toast properly. Please work on quality

We had the Chicken green chili Frankie and Chicken Manchurian Frankie with cheese alongwith the mawa cake rabdi.
All 3 of the items were well worth the money, excellent taste as well as quantity.
Special touch was a lovely handwritten thank you note which was the icing on the cake.

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! The service was prompt and the food was amazing. The guy in the front was kind enough to offer us Tea while we were chit-chatting after our meal. I recommend this place to everyone.

Bombay Frankie! As they say in Bombay, “Ye Toh Ekdum Jakhas hai”

This reminded me of Bombay. I got the Szechuan Chicken Cheese Frankie before. It was very good. Less oil unlike in Bombay where they fry it in OIL which I don’t prefer.

This time I got the Mawa Cake Rabdi, Irani “Kayani” Chai and Masala chai.

Mawa Cake Rabdi: Wow Wow. The Rabdi itself was the best part. The Cake was good but it’s the Rabdi that gave the kick.

Irani Chai and Masala chai both tasted almost similar and but no complaints.

Would definitely order and recommend others to visit this place.

P. S. Great touch with the note that was given with the package. A small gesture but it made a difference to show they care about their customers.

Way to go “Bombay Frankie”

We tried the vada pav, aloo Frankie, and the vegetable puff. They were all great, tasted authentic. The service was fast and the food was amazing. Definitely look forward to coming back here to try more dishes!

Even the flagship Frankie was no where close to what orginal Frankie is. Don't even ask how was the pav bhaji. Carrot paste?

Amazing service! I ordered the chilli chicken paneer Frankie, lime soda, and Irani chai. The lime soda was unreal - one of the best I have ever had. The Irani chai was piping hot and fresh. The Frankie’s (first timer here) were loaded with filling and the bread they were wrapped in was surprisingly not greasy. Maybe it’s not meant to be? Not sure. Either way, I was very pleased with the food and service and highly recommend everyone check this place out if you’re in the mood for hearty Indian street food.

Definitely not the best place to enjoy Bombay food.
The Puffs were flat and cold
The Frankie were cold and paneer extremely hard. Had to return it. When it came back, it was still the same.

The tawa pulav we ordered specifically less spicy. But ended up too spicy.

The worst part was that I paid 20% tip upfront as we have to pay for the order first. The items are more expensive than the worth.

What kind of dine-in restaurant is this which doesn't even offer water to their customers?

We need to ask for water and wait for long.

Restaurant do not have much options, especially if you are vegetarian. Frankie's are available one Frankie will have two rolls which will more than enough for one person. Tried vada pav I say no to it

We (party of four) went there at 5: 30 pm and most of the tables were unoccupied. Ordered veg puff, tea, veg & paneer Frankie's, Pao Bhaiji and waffle fries. The tea and food was just okay. Pao Bhaiji was cold and they replaced it on request. Disappointing experience overall.

I loved the hand written note Generally I don't give 5 star rating but you guys made it really easy. The food was delicious. Even my husband also liked your food, who is picky about outside food. We had ordered two types of paneer Frankie, veg puff and pav bhaji. The food was really great. Quantity is good. Little on the pricey end. But overall good food.

Service could have been better.

Covid protocols and Sanitization are well followed.

I am from Pakistan. My Indian friend brought me to Bombay Franke. I tried their Paav bhaji and kashmiri Chai. It was amazing. I like the way the staff was so enthusiastic and welcoming.

Got a chance to try authentic frankies after such a long time. I loved the chicken and schezuan frankies. Perfect blend of spices, easy on pocket, makes you wanna come back over and over.

After a longtime had a good Frankie. Taste of Mumbai was replicated. Ordered Green Chilli Frankie, Chicken Manchurian Frankie, Waffle fries, Kashmiri Chai, Masala Chai and Mango Lassi. All the items are good but the standout was chicken chilli Frankie and Kashmiri Chai. The Frankie was made with fresh ingredients and it was soft and delicious.

Bombay Frankie is an absolute gem. The green chilli chicken frankie and chicken berry pulao was absolutely delicious. Great quantity of food for reasonable price. I highly recommend everyone to check out this restaurant. I can't wait to go back and explore the other dishes on their menu.

Loved the frankie in the store. The employees very friendly with us, french fries are really good. The frankie combo is really good if we're going in group, it gives the best Indian taste. The environment and ambiance is really good to sit and have inside to get the best experience indoor dining experience in Canada. Can't wait to go there again.

I tried food from Bombay Frankie and it was really delicious. We ordered frankie platter which comes waffle fries and it was really amazing. The frankies were damn tasty and my favourite was Szechuan paneer. I am highly satisfied with food quality and would give 10/10. Will visit soon!

Bombay Frankie opened up yesterday and I had a chance to stop by today to check it out after months of anticipation! I ordered the Chicken Chili Paneer Szechuan Frankie, Waffle Fries and the Parsi Keema Pav. The food was absolutely delicious and the frankie portions pleasantly surprised me! I would highly recommend getting waffle fries as a side with your meal - they were amazing! The staff is super friendly and the decor is really nice! 10/10 experience!

I brought my kids to Kariya park and noticed this new place called Bombay Frankie. Out of curiosity, My husband, my children and I went inside to see what kind of food they have. We ordered Chicken and Paneer Frankies. It was so delicious that We had to place another order. The we tried their Mawa Cake with rabri. It was so soft and succulent that it melted in the mouth right away. That was the the best mawa cake I have ever had in my life. Finally we ordered their masala chai. It was perfect, just the way we used to have in India.
Although it was their opening day, the people behind the counter were super fast and gave us an excellent service despite being so busy.
My surprise outing was worth every single penny. I am coming back again with my friends next week.

A great new restaurant with a twist to fusion cuisine. Nice place for a quick bite or a family night out. Lots of options on the menu to choose from. Open late night to accommodate late customers. Easy access and free parking in a busy location.
