Bonafide Medical Clinic

I want to share the worst experience of my life and it is all because of Dr. Nivin Azer. I will never ever forgive or forget this. I went into the clinic yesterday (Nov 17th) to discuss my first ultrasound results (I’m 7 weeks pregnant). Dr. Nivin came in smiling and immediately said “everything is looking good” to which i said with relief “oh thank you…” she then cut me off and said “oh sorry! Wrong person. Sorry I’m looking at the wrong file. Here you are, okay so youuu sorry there is no baby”. These were her EXACT WORDS! I immediately said “WHAT! ” in shock. She then explained to me the reports say their is no heart beat and so I am pregnant but the baby is “not alive”. I bursted into tears, I couldn’t feel anything, kept crying and asking her why we are looking for a heart beat this early and maybe it was missed (this isn’t my first pregnancy- i have 3 kids) I even told her my internal wasn’t done because I wanted to consult her first and see if it’s okay for me to do it. The reports also said that. However, Dr.nivin CONCLUDED “i was going to miscarry by bleeding in ONE WEEK”. She told me either I wait for a week and wait for bleeding to happen on its own or go to er and get pills that will help with the process. I kept asking if I can do one more ultrasound to confirm all this and she kept saying you can but its your wish. She kept saying this is normal and that shes very sorry about this. She told me to do repeat blood tests to make sure the pregnancy Hormone level goes down completely. She basically went over the whole process of miss carriage with me. I WAS HEARTBROKEN. I let her know I’d like to go to er and have them confirm everything and then guide me with the process of getting the baby out. I didn’t want to wait one week for bleeding to happen on its own.

I ended up in ER an hour after my appointment, crying the entire time explaining to the doctors that i was told the baby is not alive anymore- there isn’t a heartbeat etc.
At the ER all tests were done along with the INTERNAL! 8 hours later I was told that MY BABY IS JUST FINE! The heart beat is normal! Everything is fine. The doctors at the ER also questioned Dr.nivins approach to this situation. If no heart beat was seen in the reports, she should have advised an internal before concluding that there is “NO BABY”. She even went ahead and concluded i will be bleeding in the next week! This whole experience was awful absurd and I hope no one ever has to experience this.

I’ve been coming to this clinic since they opened and I only have good things to say about them. The staff is polite and cooperative, the doctors are amazing and wait times are super short (since they only book appointments for walk ins). I highly recommend this clinic and I believe some doctors are accepting new patients.

Best family clinic and pharmacist in Milton. Really should thank Doctor Nivin and pharmacist Mr. Daniel for their patience and extending their services even at walkins despite of busy schedules. I strongly recommend them for their dedication, patience and support. Thankyou very much

Hands down the best clinic in Milton! I have been coming to this clinic for years. The whole team from doctors to reception are always friendly and helpful. If I could give them more then 5 stars I would!

POOR management of appointments. Your appointment will never be on time. I had an appointment at 1PM and reached before my appointment. I was told that it's the 1st appointment with the doctor. Waited for 40 minutes and was told that there were still 3-4 patients before my turn. If I have booked the 1st appointment with the doctor where did these patients come from and walk-in being given priority over scheduled appointments just doesn't make sense and is unfair. I booked an appointment at a particular time to plan my day accordingly. It's been like this from the beginning. I am finally going to meet the doctor now after exactly 48 minutes and that too because i raised the concern and now i am seeing some other doctor, not the one for whom i was scheduled for. EXTREMELY POOR MANAGEMENT!

Amazing and fast service! Clinic is clean and staff are very accommodating and friendly. Will be returning

I made an appointment yesterday (April 22,1: 30PM) for my new born baby and made the mistake of not taking her (temporary) health card and instead showed them a digital copy. The receptionist (male) informed me 3 times that I am supposed to bring the physical health card and that he was making an exception, to which I said "Okay sure, I'll bring it next time". As I was about to fill out the form, he said "I don't think you understand that we are making an exception. Normally we would send you home to get it. " I suppose he was expecting me to grovel with remorse. I let him know that I'd rather trade his "exception" for politeness. He then asked me to then go home and get the health card. Obviously, I cancelled my appointment.

Suggestion: At the very least, make a conscious effort not to increase stress on people coming to your clinic, if you can't commit to alleviating it.

There's always room for improvement and I see that.great service and supportive staff from Bonafide today. It was a breeze, appointment on time, awesome doctors and wonderful experience!

I have been going here for more than a year and overall my experience is good. They are open 7 days a week and have multiple doctors on site. Friendly staff including the pharmacists. Only downside is longer wait times than usual even with an appoinment

I don’t live close by but I drive over to this clinic because of how amazing the doctors and the rest of the team are! What a great clinic! Keep up the good work!

I went into the clinic for my little one - all the receptionist walked by looked -not once did anyone of them ask did you need help seeing that my child was non-stop puking - would be nice to ask do you need any help are you okay?

Fitted me in on a public holiday. Doctor was lovely and super quick to diagnose me. Receptionist and pharmacist also were lovely

Daniel and his team are simply the best in the business. Its been a rough winter flu season but the team here has always got us covered. To me its the high level of empathy shown to all the customers that truly does shine through.

Got my compound medicine first time from somewhere else, for the second time got it from bonafide, supposed to be a cream but it’s really more of a liquid, first one worked like magic, second one from Bonafide no effect at all and they wouldn’t do anything about it

Had the worst experience if I could I would give zero stars. I was new to Milton and this clinic was close by so made dr Victoria my family doctor. At the meet and greet she was yelling at the receptionist why were we booked with her as she doesn’t want new patients. So even after the meet and greet I didn’t go through with it. After that every experience at the walk in is horrible all doctors pretty much say hi from the door and are ready to leave. Probably spend 3 to 4 minute with patient. My daughter was sick with 105 fever dr Victoria came in didn’t bother look at her and gave me attitude when I said can you look at her throat and ear for infection. She only looked for a second maybe out of spite said there is mild infection and prescribed anti biotic. So next day I had a feeling that is not case so I drove to Orangeville to my old doctor and he did a thorough check up said there is no throat infection and did urine test and turns out she has UTI. So glad I didn’t follow dr Victoria as she had miss diagnosed her and was either not qualified to check for infection or just wanted me out of there so said it’s throat infection so I could leave

Dr. Victoria is wonderful.
I have never had to wait too long for an appointment, the staff is always really nice.

Always a pleasant experience. The team behind the desk and in the pharmacy are always so kind and willing to help. Waiting is never an issue, and everything is done within a timely manor. Daniel is always so welcoming whenever I see him

I was excited we had a new clinic in the area and had high hopes but my first visit I was told they could make children's Tylenol with the prescription I got from an Oakville clinic and I'd be in and out in 15 min.almost an hr later I finally got the prescription. My second visit was when my family and I had the worst cold of our lives they said we probably don't need a prescription.and it's viral and should go away on its own.huh? Two weeks of on and off fevers and other symptoms, and a return visit as we weren't getting better, with no luck and none of the OTC medicine they suggested was available. Today I called to get an appointment and was offered a phone appointment this evening lol I just laughed and hung up. Back to my trusted clinic in Oakville!

My first time at the clinic. We came in right when it was going to close. Vanessa was attentive and pleasant, and was able to squeeze us in. Dr. Victoria calm and attentive demeanour is appreciated!

Went in for a walk in, my son was seen by Dr. Victoria quick. Dr. Victoria was very friendly and actually takes the time to listen to the patient. Thank you!

I can’t thank them enough, one of the best clinc, starting with how respectful they are and nice with me and my family, whenever we need help they always there to help with medical care, especially the pharmacies Daniel one of the best man, he always got the smile on his fasc so as the staff there! This walk-in is attached to a pharmacy which is a different review all together.
My experience with Bonafide Medical has been exceptional. They can slot me in for an appt as soon as possible, the staff at the front desk are very patient and the doctors are great. It is not the normal walk-in clinics where the wait times are ridiculous.
This walk-in has been great to deal with and I am happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a clinic in Milton.

Wait times are horrendous. Appointments are always delayed by at least half an hour and its always the same excuse of 2 doctors on sight.

Sadly this location is way over crowded. I was told to make an appointment to see the doctor. Despite of having an appointment we had to wait over an hour before we decided to leave without seeing a doctor. Some who came after us were seen before us.
Appointment or no appointment same long wait here. Disappointed!

Daniel the owner/ pharmacist is very professional and knowledgeable. All are very helpful.

I have been coming to this clinic since it has opened. The experience is exceptional every time. All the staff are always friendly and kind. The Pharmacist Daniel is very personable, knowledgeable and helpful. He always takes the time to explain everything thoroughly.

This clinic is very small and seems to be always busy. Even though I made an appointment, my wait was very long. They did tell me they were running behind that day, so I’ll attribute this long wait to staff shortage during this holiday period. The staff were courteous and professional and Dr. Johnson was very professional and explained things very well and made sure I understood what he was explaining. The pharmacy is right there in the same place as the clinic so it was very convenient.

I have a 17 month old daughter, called for walk in as our family dr is on vacation, first the receptionist told me for walk in and nothing is available then I told her my situation with my daughter and told me to come in @4: 10. Showed up to my appointment by 4: 00 did not get put into the room until 5: 00 and a patient in front of us was seen before us and dr was just as confused and kept apologizing. The dr was very understanding and advised my daughters appt was moved to 5: 00 while sitting in waiting area for unknown reason. This was all due to the receptionist (wears a hijab) did not get a name, she decided to move a patient in front us. Very unprofessional and rude. I understand it’s busy but we made an appointment. Giving a 3 star because the dr was very understanding and once I explained what happened looked at my daughter right away.

We as a family have good experience with this clinic. Staff at front end are very nice. Doctors are patient and understanding also. Thanks to Daniel for accommodating us in every possible way.
