My dog was a regular for 3 years. The last time he went, his eye was closed. No acknowledgement by the groomer or anyone. I saw it when I got home. Visit to the vet for examination showed he was ok, but had an irritated eye. I called them about it and got an excuse, no accountability. Consider not going here. I won't be going anymore. Not sure what happened over the past year, but my dog's experience has been worse each time he has gone.

Don't go here dogs! My dog was maimed here! After grooming we saw that our dog had red eyes and was squinting, the groomer didn’t tell us anything about this, after 10 minutes at home my dog’s eyes were swollen, after 20 minutes we were already in emergency
diagnosis: ulcer on the right eye or as our doctor said, a deep scratch
we gave the dog to the groomer Anna, and as it turned out later, in the end my dog was taken care of by assistants
I don’t recommend this grooming, it is cruelty! My dog is forced to take 2 types of antibiotics for 10 days, and take painkillers for 5 days, walk in a cone, today it happened to my dog, tomorrow it could happen to yours
I entrusted them with my dog and took the sick one, for which they “put a bow on the dog”
It would be better if he were completely healthy, my dog was always afraid of this grooming

I personally know people whose dogs were maimed here, I will never take my dog here! Be careful! There’s cruelty here

BooBoo Pet Grooming was very professional. My dog hates getting his nails trimmed. It's been a terrible experience at home and with other groomers. They were very gentle and patient with him and, surprisingly, the quickest trim he's ever had. We both left happy.
I could hear the groomers talking to him nicely as they were trimming his nails and watched several other pets come and go pleased within our 10-15 minute visit.
I highly recommend BooBoo Pet Grooming Services and will be taking my little guy there moving forward.
Thanks BooBoo Pet Groomers

I always have a wonderful experience with the team. Most of the time I come only for trimming nails for my German Sheppard mix. Recently my dog, who doesn’t like to be brushed and washed had first time grooming appointment with them. I was a little bit stressed but to my surprise the team did an amazing job. My dog came out clean and fresh. Thank you

Absolutely amazing service.
I have a 8 month Pug and they took amazing care of him and made him look and smell wonderful, I was close to tears how great he looked and how happy he was.
Thank you to the owner Talus for being so polite and respectful taking the time to talk to me both times I was in and to Sophia for doing some fantastic job!

Horrible. Despite asking multiple times to not give our goldendoodle a poodle cut, and showing multiple pictures of what we’re hoping for, they shaved our doodle’s nose and gave him a typical poodle cut, exact opposite of what the pictures showed. Would never go back or recommend.

This place is magic! I've been taking my Pomeranian (Sugar) to this place since she was 10 weeks old and they always do a great job! More importantly, Sugar always comes back quite happy and pleased. She's looking to be groomed at this place. Staffs are super warm an friendly. After one bad experience with another groomer, I took Sugar back here and they did a magical job!

Thanks! Thanks and Thanks again!

Don’t go to them. When i picked my dog up after her appointment i noticed she was squinting. I thought she was tired after playing with the other dogs but fast forward to a few hours later, her left eye was sealed shot.she couldn’t open it and was in pain.her right eye was also red. I took her to the vet at midnight and they said both eyes were irritated and her left eye was significantly smaller in size.they said she experienced trauma to the eye and either by the clipper or soap used (hard to say). He believes in the process her eye was affected and triggered a superficial ulcer by the eye.my dog now has to wear a cone for 5 days and be on some antibiotics. I notified the groomers and they said well she was fine there and maybe dust got in her eyes.i requested to speak to the owner that someone needs to take responsibility and acknowledge us but the receptionist said he has nothing to say to me.i spent over $600 in emergency room fee and testing.they didn’t even care enough to apologize or listen to understand what the doctor said.i had a medical report and even then they did not care to hear me. Don’t go to them. Mistakes happen but trust me you don’t want a groomer that won’t take accountability when it does.legal actions will be taken

My dog Tina is a sweetheart until it's time to get groomed. We typically muzzle her, and it can often be a stressful experience (for both of us!). The team at BooBoo Pet Grooming are so sweet and gentle with her, they even had her muzzle off when I went to pick her up! I was blown away. They are all so kind, and they do a great job with the groom as well. Don't hesitate to book an appointment:)

My cat had his first grooming experience here and they did a wonderful job. He has a ton of hair and needed to be brushed out well. He came back calm, no matts, with a cute bow and looking sharp! Thank you

DON'T BRING YOUR PETS HERE! If I could give them a -100, I would.

On a good recommendation from a friend, we brought our cats (Major Mackenzie and Mr. Fitzgerald) in on Friday, March 10,2023 all the way from Vaughan, Ontario. I booked this appointment specifically to trim their nails and private parts, and to deal with Mackenzie’s tail which was knotted much worse than Fitzgerald’s, so when booking the appointment, I suggested they shave Mackenzie’s tail. I’m guessing this information was never documented or relayed to the actual groomer. However, when we were there, Ana (the groomer) realized how bad the situation was, but never came to speak with us in the foyer until she was done. When she was done, she brought both cats in the carrier out to the foyer and explained to us that this "matting" was from the oil in their spray because they are not neutered. I then asked her to shave their tails. She took the carrier back to her workstation and shaved their tails.

When we got home, we were in disbelief and in utter shock at the condition of Mackenzie’s tail, see photo. You can see that blood has surfaced and some bruising has occurred from Mackenzie’s tail hairs being RIPPED OUT of the hair shaft with a comb. Is this groomer insane? We watched her thinking she knew what she was doing and treating our animals with care only to come home to find this unacceptable display of brutal force that WE WITNESSED, but didn’t understand since this was our first time at a groomer.

Yes, I am a first time pet owner and always researching and learning about my cats, but ignorant as to what caused the matting on their tails. I never connected the two. However, this is not an excuse to use brutal force to try to remove matting with a comb ESPECIALLY when I specifically mentioned shaving his tail when booking the appointment. You would think a "professional" groomer would not treat an animal client like this. The groomer should have simply come to speak with us in the foyer, since we were actually there, give us her professional assessment of the situation and allow us to make a decision on how to deal with it, NOT cause my pet pain by RIPPING THE HAIR OUT with a comb!

When I notified them of what happened via email, their response was so stupid in reiterating what they had already told me about the oil in their spray and neutering my cats, completely ignoring the fact that THEIR GROOMER INJURED MY KITTY!

In addition, the groomer's scent transferred onto our cats, causing them to not recognize each other's scent and therefore fight. When I mentioned this in my email, the groomer responded with, "It is common for cats to not recognize each other after grooming, because they look different. " Well then, perhaps Google is incorrect. "Early in life, littermates exchange scents to recognize each other should they get separated. " FYI: "Human perfumes (or hand creams for that matter) have a higher concentration of ingredients (which can be harmful or smell too strong to animals) and usually have substances that are irritating, like alcohol. " You would think a professional groomer would know this, and just a recap, only their tails where shaved and private areas were trimmed.

And lastly, while waiting in the foyer and witnessing all the doggies coming in for their appointments, so many of them were shaking in fear - now I question this. We also witnessed another owner say, "The last time, you guys cut my dog, can you please take your time and not rush? "

Oh, sorry one more quick tidbit that I hadn't mentioned in my email.you thought we had left, but we hadn't, we heard you say you were going to WASH YOUR HANDS because our cats smelled, I should hope you wash your hands after EVERY animal client, not just the ones that smell, and thanks for letting us know they smell, I guess we've gone nose blind. We'll give them a bath when Mackenzie's tail has healed.

Needless to say, we will NOT be bringing our cats back.

** I waited for a response to my email complaint before posting this review in hopes they would redeem themselves. **
