Boston Pizza

Food came out quick which we thought was great. It wasn't terribly busy for the 5pm time frame, so we were impressed, but then we tried it. 2 Spaghetti, bolagnese, one with meatballs. One was ice cold, like it had been in the fridge, the other one was tepid. Hubby had the cold one for reference.
They took them back to be remade, hubby asked for more sauce, they came back, his was tepid, no extra sauce, mine was hot with extra sauce.
I asked my hubby if he'd like it returned again, he said no, he couldn't be bothered because to do so would make mine cold by the time he got his back again. Pointless.
A lady manager came by later and asked us if things were better we told her no, not really. Explained to her what happened, she told us she'd take it off, then came back and told us she only took a percentage off. Not very happy. We've got another gift card, I'm tempted to just throw it away if this is how quality control is run.
Flavor of the pasta was great, too bad it was too cold to really enjoy.

We went for lunch on Saturday afternoon. The place wasn’t busy. The food was alright but the service absolutely sucked. We started with a cheese toast appetizer, which is our 5 year old daughter’s highlight of going to Boston Pizza. The plate came out with 2 small pieces on it. Normally they have 2 full pieces any other time we have visited a Boston pizza. My wife ordered a personal pizza that was supposed to come with ranch dressing on it. There were a couple drops. She asked if she could get a little more, which they did… for an additional $2.99 added on to our bill. Our server came to our table a couple times, but after finishing our meal, we waited for our bill for 45 minutes! Our daughter’s kids meal was supposed to come with dessert. We opted to take a to go cookie as we’d been sitting at the table twiddling our thumbs. To top it off, when they passed us the machine to pay, the tip starts at 15%. The expectation of tipping for such underwhelming service is a little much!

I have enjoyed this place for years and it's disappointing to give this rating.
Ordered the spaghetti. Description said it came with 3 meatballs and was "smothered in meat sauce", not even close. We were shorted a meatball and the sauce was barely noticeable let alone "smothered". I asked for more meat sauce and was given a small container of cold salsa type sauce. What a joke. Hey BP, the flavour is in the sauce! I am so very tired of paying more for items and getting so much less. If your going to cheap out on items tell us so that we can decide for ourselves. Ruined our night out. Didn't even take the leftovers, not worth carrying it home (I have lots of plain pasta at home). Won't be going back.

Amazing! Staff was fantastic! The service was prompt and friendly, despite our large party. On behalf of South Simcoe Storm, we appreciate the professional staff!

Great food, great atmosphere. I love to go to their bar for a drink or bring my family for supper.

Olivia N was AMAZING. She is the best Bartender ever! I love her. She has amazing customers service ever!

We visited on Sunday, Sep 24th and ordered pizzas and drinks. The pizzas were okay, but not great. However, the service was terrible. First, the waiter forgot to bring our starters - we dint get them at all through out the meal. Then she proceeded to make snide remarks about the quantity of food we ordered, and while we were still eating, she brought boxes even though we said we dint need any. Shaming customers about what they are ordering shouldn’t be part of a waiter’s job description.

The pizza is always good. Service has been very good. The atmosphere 1 star was because of the music. We went on Friday night and left before ordering because the music was so loud. I mean LOUD! We enjoy pub atmospheres, but this was too much. We couldn't even talk across the table to discuss our meal ideas.
So we left.

April P was awesome! They were short staffed and we didn’t have to wait. She was fantastic!

Our server, Hailey, was awesome! Despite a decently crowded night, she was attentive and quick to get to our group!
Food was good (as expected for a chain).

Haven't been to BP in a while prior, but will definitely go back.

Typical Boston Pizza.great fish bowl drinks, tho. You get a buzz, but the bill will sober you up instantly! Lol

Great restaurant, friendly servers and great food, we sat on the patio and loved it. I ordered the Crispy Chicken pecan salad. I highly recommend.

Our server was excellent. The manager was also very pleasant. Two of us ordered the French Onion soup. Unfortunately there were very few onions in the broth, which tasted like store bought bouillon, and the bread was cubed and fresh so it just turned to mush. Neither of us ate the soup. Our server reported this to the manager. Despite us telling him it wasn’t necessary, he wouldn’t let us pay for the soup.

Came in right around noon on Aug 21st for a birthday lunch for my son. The service was amazing. Our Hostess greeted us promptly and was very friendly she also ended up our waitress. I believe her name was Olivia? So sorry if I got it wrong! Everything came out fast, Food tasted as expected and we were gone before it got busy. Overall, an ideal dining experience.

Very happy with our experience here! Server Olivia was friendly and knowledgeable, let us know about the special Pasta Tuesday which we got 2 orders of and was delicious. Food was fresh, fast and tasty, service was prompt and welcoming. Will be back.

Jess thompson was my sever the other day- she was absolutely amazing - so kind hearted and bubbly made my time even better!

Mediocre at best. Visited August 7th 2023. Waitress was great but forgot to bring fundamentals like cutlery and napkins. The chicken Burger I purchased was very dry. I couldn't bite through it. Burger came off in chunks because it was so tough to chew. Food took longer to bring out than it usually does, even with a vastly empty restaurant. The waitress was fantastic and was the highlight of the meal, she couldn't save the experience. Overall was not impressed with my visit to this particular location.

Boston Pizza is a dependable brand that is my go-to for dependable quality menu items. That said, every visit is a test on that expectation. On this visit, this expectation was fully met. Staff were pleasant and attentive and the good quality was exceptional. Good work team!

Order Jambolia and spaghetti and meat balls. Got home and found both dishes had maybe 2 table spoons of sauce. Both meals were very dry. Spaghetti only had 1 meatball instead of the 3 it said it came with. Very disappointed.

Ordered takeout online, and went in exactly at the time they said it should be ready. I waited 15 minutes longer inside the store. I got my order and noticed pizza box seemed cold to the touch on the bottom. Fast forward. Get home, ready ro eat & order is missing 1 thing and doubled up on fries. Pizza barely had the cheese melted on top and was colder than the air in the room- i had to microwave it i start eating & the caesar salad tastes like dirt & the croutons were stale, the pizza was partly soggy & i just found that everything had a very strange taste to it overall. Dont know how to explain other than that everything tasted "off".

Great service and food. The first Cactus Cut Chips we got were a little underdone for our taste but they quickly did some extra crispy for us and brought them out piping hot and delicious. All the rest of the food was amazing, as was my birthday dessert. Always great food and service at BP. Been a favorite of mine since I lived out west. Definitely recommend. The Gardiners location was also appropriately staffed where as the Dalton street one was almost an hour wait which is why we went here in the first place. Good call.
