Boston Pizza

Boston Pizza is a popular restaurant chain in Canada, known for its casual dining atmosphere and variety of pizzas and other dishes. One of its locations can be found near the Square One Mall in Mississauga, Ontario. I had the opportunity to visit this Boston Pizza recently and here is my review.

Firstly, the location of this Boston Pizza is convenient, as it is situated near the bustling Square One Mall. The restaurant itself is spacious with a welcoming and well-lit interior. The seating area is comfortable and accommodates both small and large groups. The staff members were friendly and attentive, providing prompt service throughout my visit.

As for the menu options, Boston Pizza near Square One Mall does not disappoint. They offer an extensive range of pizzas, from classic options like Margherita and Pepperoni to unique creations like BBQ Chicken and Hawaiian Pizza. Additionally, they have a variety of appetizers, salads, and pasta dishes to choose from. I opted for the classic Pepperoni pizza and was pleasantly surprised by the generous amount of toppings and the perfectly baked crust. The flavors were well-balanced, and the pizza was served piping hot.

Delicious pizzas. We tried New York Cheesecake. Staff really attentive and welcoming. Robot serving system in place.

Came here to watch UFC 297 with a couple of friends. Our server was lovely and took good care of us at first. After our food and drinks were delivered she checked up on us a couple of times which was nice but maybe an hour after our food arrived she was nowhere to be seen. We asked for a pitcher of water maybe 4 times and same thing for a refill of that pitcher from servers that were not our initial server but I don't think that you need to be OUR server to get us some water and cups. Same thing with dessert, we asked multiple servers for dessert and coffee, coffee never came and the dessert came very very late. One of the servers that ignored us reeked of the smell of marijuana.

Everytime I go come to this SQ1 location I experience the same thing.
Poor service, rudeness.
This one very rude unfriendly lady.
She doesn't seem to like people are care about anything.

Will not be returning anymore.

Kid- friendly and my daughter loves to visit this place. The dessert menu is attractive for children.

We ordered 3 pizzas and all 3 were undercooked. Fries and cactus fries were over cooked. Chicken in the salad was dry. Not impressed

Very poor service and a rude manager. It was 10 of us last week went in during lunch the place was empty, it took the server 1 hour to bring out our food. We had already informed the server that we needed to leave in 1 hour as all of us needed go get back to work. After asking multiple times about the food, the server advised us of being short staffed. Unfortunately I had to leave after spending over 1 hour without any food. She finally bought my food and I requested for a take out box as well. Although she apologized and offered to comp the food. She came back with my bill and offered me a discount. I wasn't looking for a free meal but please do not set the expectation of a free meal before you have discussed with a manager!

I found it very rude that the Manager on duty didn't even bother to come and check up on the delay or our experience. On top of this they charged everyone a gratuity for poor service.

There are plenty of great restaurants around sq1 with top notch service and food!

The service was great and the meals were very tasty! We ordered a couple of pizzas, a pasta dish and a fried chicken sandwich. The time between ordering and eating was not long at all, and the waiter checked in regularly to make sure everything was good. The facilities were very clean and the restaurant was warm and cozy! Well done!

I hosted birthday party and the area provided to was so dirty and mess on the floor which was not cleaned after the previous guests left.
Service was slow and wait time to get food was long.

What a sad, sad place! I frequent BP at other locations a fair bit and hoped this would be as good, but nope, this location gets off the list. Hop over to Scaddabush or Jacks nearby, or the Panera next door.

Dined in on a Sunday at noon and the service was quite slow.

We ordered the Bandera bread, Spicy Buffalo Mac & Cheese and Honey Dill Fried Chicken with Garlic Parmesan Fries.

The Bandera bread was very chewy and cheesy with a strong garlic flavour. The pasta was huge. It was super tangy and tasted like frank’s hot sauce. The fried chicken sandwich was very crunchy on the outside and slightly tough on the inside. If you love garlic flavoured foods, you must try the parmesan fries.

Overall, the food were very tasty and would definitely come here again.

We visited this location with a group of 11 people during lunch today. There was only one server in the entire dining area. Our food came extremely late! Despite of informing that we were on a time crunch. Most of us legit had to ask for the bill and packed the food without eating there. On top of that the Gratuity was charged. Why was this charged when we were not even provided the service that should have been basic.
Extremely disappointing!

Went for a Christams party and was overly dissapointed by the service and the food. The food took so long to arrive and the service was just horrible. By the time the food arrived it was time for me to leave and i had to pack it in a to go container. The bill comes and i was charged a gratuity fee which i think should not have been added for a group of 10 people. We did not enjoy at all. Horrible experience during this Holiday season.

Booked a reservation for 10 at Boston Pizza (Square One) to watch the NFLs first game of the 2023 season. When we arrived only half of the table were facing any TVs so 9 grown men had to squish onto one side of the table to watch the game. Service throughout the night was pretty bad (to put it lightly). Our server was nowhere to be found for the vast majority of the entire night and when we did find them, they had to clarify our order a couple times because they could not remember. We were only able to get between 2-3 drinks per person the entire game because they were either nowhere to be found or conversing with off duty employees. When the end of the game was approaching we flagged down our server and encouraged them to check in with the table regarding last call/settling up. When I checked in with them they brought over bills for the entire table of 9 people without asking if anyone wanted anything else for the night and I know many people did want another drink/water. All of these bills had auto gratuity (18%) and my bill was incorrect (charged for one extra beer and a more expensive one that I did not order) which I did have to correct. I would understand if it was a busy night however we were one of very few tables that night and I did notice other servers so I know it was not only our server in the entire restaurant. I would think twice before coming to Boston Pizza Square One and am usually a very easy customer however this service deserves to be spoken out about. I will say the food I had (Chicken Burger) was good. Please be better BP, I am fond of the franchise but tonight you failed big time and I’m only writing you so you can fix these issues.

Don’t really have high expectations for BP but came in for dinner and didn’t have any server come to us for at least 10-15 mins and had to ask the nice girl at the front for someone to take our drink order. A guy came out and asked what we wanted/took our food order and then brought us the drinks. The robot brought our food but we had to ask the girl at the front for silverware because our server did not bring us anything. Random bits of spinach in my caesar salad and the chicken was ice cold but not like I could say anything since we basically had no service- maybe it was the fact that we were seated in an empty section? Our server checked on us once in the whole hour+ we were there at the end of our meal where I just asked for the bill and had him stare at me while I put in the details on the machine. Really awkward.
