Very nice place with lots of new furniture smell so good. We shop there with wife a lot we like to go here and special thanks to Stacy

We hear your claims about the popularity of the smell and music. What you're *repeatedly* failing to understand/address is that the music is too loud and the scent is way too strong; you can keep the "signature scent" and music for the "store experience" without it being an assult to people's senses. But thanks for taking the time to reword your generic response ;-)

As mentioned in other reviews, the store has an overpowering perfumy scent that you are hit in the face with as soon as you enter. I personally am not incredibly scent sensitive, but I felt nauseous as soon as I entered. After about five minutes in the store I was feeling slightly dizzy from the overpowering smell and had a pounding headache as well (the base boosted, too-loud music didn't help either).

Aisles are laughably narrow, and lipped flooring from (I assume) previous layouts remains, making navigation awkward and inaccessible.

Prices are high, products are average in quality and design.

In preparation to the anticipated generic corporate response this review will likely get:

There are reviews from as long as a year ago complaining about the overpowering smells; if you're not actually going to change anything about that, at least have the decency to be honest instead of saying you'll pass the message along.
As for accessibility, an e-commerce store is nice but should not be a bandaid to a lack of accessibility in your stores. Everyone deserves the opportunity to visit stores and look at products in person. Do better.

Shop here quite often but my last visit at this store was really disappointing. Customer service has been okay but never this bad … someone needs to train the store manger (old lady with glasses) so she can better assist the customers.
This is not how you treat your customers.

Coolest Bouclair I've been to! They did a fantastic job remodeling the store and creating a really chill ambience for shopping their great selection of home decor.

Nicely laid out except that it's crowded. Do not bring small children in. Staff are not super friendly and I was in there waiting for ages while they looked for my order. But it's nice. Not too expensive

Decided to pop in Saturday 10th September 2022.
Enjoyed taking a look around the store which offers a wide variety of lovely pieces for the home.
However, the worst customer service I’ve come across. The two ladies on the shop floor stood there like bodyguards. The cashier was extremely rude with zero customer service experience.

Love it here! The updated changes made to make it an experience there is very evident. Love the misted essential oil sent I assume, which they need to sell! But overall love the colour/theme coordinated sections of house accessories and furniture. The staff are very helpful as well for decorating advice.

I’ve been an avid customer for years at the Waterloo location and wanted just an exchange on a picture that didn’t work out.they said that the cardboard corners were missing and couldn’t do the exchange…I understand that’s a “new policy”as the manager rudely stated but sometimes helping a customer out with ANY option is the most important for future business! Great and polite customer service goes along way!

Complete horrible quality they have given. I have never seen bar stools so bad. Customer service after purchase even more pathetic. Shut the store down as you did with the boardwalk.

They've revamped the whole interior of the store. The layout used to be a little busy but it has much better flow now. Seems to have a higher end feel with improved lighting.

We made a purchase of blinds from Bouclair today and Alison and Jess went above and beyond to assist us. We will definitely be making future purchases at this location.

In a day and age where people and businesses are actively cognizant of scent sensitivities and perfume allergies, I was deeply surprised to find the store was pumping in enormous amounts of perfume into the air.

If was offensive. And after leaving the store it followed me for it had penetrated my clothing, hair, and mask.

New concept store didn't leave alot of room for movement past other customers. Visually gorgeous, but not practical space wise, especially when you first walk in. Someone was looking at a product, and we had to squeeze by her to even enter the rest of the store. There are many "excuse me, I will just squeeze by you" areas in this store now.

Excellent shop for home decor. If you are looking for curtains, they have an extensive collection.

The big opening after the COVID-19 epidemic, very well organized of the reopening to avoid crowds at the store. Friendly staff and helpful service.

Super helpful and considerate staff!
We were looking for a picture and after we decided and purchased it we realized that it was passed closing time. Not at any point did they pressure or push us to leave the store. This is how customer service should be!

Lots of great finds, but I dont like the umbrella at the front it closes everything in and makes me very closterphobic. The Kitchener layout is nicer.

Staff is very helpfull store is very clean and spacious but inventory have some issues for example on website different products shows available on this particular location but store have 0 in stock which is kind of disappointing

I went to several BouClair locations recently to pick up items for my new place. Brittany was extremely polite and knowledgeable. Somehow my blinds were even cut as per my specifications unlike the ones I purchased at the Ira Needles location. This level of competency and customer service is sorely lacking these days, and I found these qualities to be noteworthy.

Oh my! Worst experience in a bouclair store. Went in today around 5: 00pm picked up an item went to go pay and kid you not what an utter disgrace. The two associates were yelling across the store to each other because one had no idea of what was happening with a order was literally standing there doing nothing. Meanwhile when the other lady finally comes over she takes over looks like she has no idea what’s she doing, im waiting patiently I work in retail I know what it’s like when systems are down etc but then the other lady goes on the other register complaining about something starts ringing through another customer tells her to wait. At this point when they give you no explanation of the wait i just wanted to leave I put down my item calmly, walked out calmly meanwhile they yelled have a good day! No apology no nothing. The whole atmosphere and experience in that store was chaos. A location I will not be visiting again.

Unfortunately I will never go to the Waterloo store on King again. The female manager/supervisor spoke to a young lady who was her employee horribly. An eye roll, a sigh, a hand on hip after this girl at the cash asked for assistance. This girl had gone above and beyond to help me and it was wonderful that she did. This was an unfortunate thing to see in this store. Staff deserve respect.
