Update (Dec 01,2023)! We came for lunch today and ordered the traditional club sandwich and the chicken brochette platter.
My boyfriend loved his club sandwich platter which had a generous portion of my favorite greasy fries and sweet vinegary coleslaw. I had to taste everything!
My Greek chicken brochette platter from the lunch special was as good as any of the best I've had in Montreal. The chicken skewer pieces were generous. The tzatziki was dense and garlicky. The salad was fresh and crispy.
We will be back again!

Our first time here (spring 2023). We were seated and served very quickly by the server. She was very prompt with our coffee and our order. The cook brought our dishes. Very friendly chap. I took the vegetarian omelet and my partner took the meat lovers breakfast. I absolutely loved my hot omelet and the soft fried potatoes were fantastic, nicely seasoned. My partner loved his breakfast since he is a meat lover. We would definitely come back again!

Stopped here for the first time last Thursday on my way to Montreal and it was love at first bite. Food, decor and atmosphere were all first rate and authentic. Very friendly and welcoming staff completed the experience. Top notch!

Did the drive thru for hotdogs and fries as well as a perch roll. Food is good you just have to be patient at the drive thru. This is no mcdonalds so it takes time.

I was at the Flying J across the road and the restaurant there had been closed, but an employee recommended this place as very good. I had the "famous" perch roll platter. I've never heard of it, but why not try this local favorite? What I got was two hot dog buns (the rolls?), flaked perch in a secret sauce. The sauce was tasty, but overall, it was just average.

This is a very popular local spot and was very busy when I was there. Maybe it was just hyped up too much and I was expecting more, but I found it just average. Not bad, not great, just middle of the road.

HAD A SUPERB FISH AND CHIPS AT BOURDEAU RESTAURANT TODAY. CHIPS WERE HOT AND CRISPY AND FISH WAS PERFECTLY DIPPED AND COOKED. ABSOLUTELY NO GREASE! ON PAR WITH NEWFIE FISH AND CHIPS WHICH ARE BEYOND DELICIOUS! WILL BE BACK FOR SURE

Service is terrible. Employess, including owner, complain in front of customers. Club sandwich was dry and no mayo even though I asked.

Nous avons commandé 2 assietes de 2 perch Roll et au lieu de nous dire qu'ils en avaient pas.il nous on servie je ne sais quel autre poison, qui sentait et coutait vraiment pas frais. Et a la grosseur des morceaux se n'était pas de la perchaude.

Nous n'avons mangé que la moitié d'un et l'avons dit à la serveuse qui a simplement dit: ho sorry.ben ho sorry on retourne plus jamais la

For years my father has been telling me about the fantastic Lancaster Perch rolls, and finally we had the opportunity to stop in for lunch. I was not disappointed. We had two perch rolls each and fries and coleslaw. The perch rolls were absolutely delicious, especially with the fried onions. So good! The service was great, and the location is excellent. I will definitely be stopping in here again for more perch rolls.

The owners at Bourdeau Restaurant are incredibly kind and their food is delicious! We were driving from Toronto and wanted our poutine and hotdog fix as we are originally from Montreal. We were driving in a snow storm and called ahead to place our order knowing we would be there close to closing. The storm worsened and we kept calling to let them know we wouldn’t be on time but they insisted we come and the would stay as long as it took. We ended up being an hour late and sure enough they greeted us at the door with freshly cooked food and even invited us to stay and eat! Amazing people! Incredible food! Highly recommend!

In a time when staffing is hard to have and keep, the staff was fun and cheerful which was great to see. Just grabbed a small snack but 2 others I was with had full meals and enjoyed them greatly

Ridiculously overpriced. Average in taste and weak in portion size. I had the perch sandwich, my wife had the poutine. 30 bucks.

I highly recommend this restaurant doesn’t disappoint in any single way big quantities of food. The Poutine and burgers are amazing and don’t forget the fries too. If you’re ever going by Lancaster, hop off the highway and go, enjoy some nice burgers and poutine.

The breakfast along with coffeee was cold & the toast was crunchy with no service. When we tried asking for napkins & the elderly lady "waitress" was nowhere too be found. The restaurant wasn't busy now we know why I won't go back. Used too be really good years ago must've changed owners.

Saw the place last week in my way ti alexandria, told.myself id stop by next time to try out the perch roll.
I get there and the sign shows a nice appetizing roll with a full filet inside, told myself the 12$ was worth it for a nice snack like that. 15 minutes wait for the order (drive through) (one roll and one burger).
The roll is not even close to what advertised, maybe 10 tiny chunks of fish covered by a sauce which had a good little taste but not much, i was expecting something way different than what received. They should update the pictures to make an honest representation, especially considering the price asked. (Had I seen it what it really was i would have ordered something else)
Burger was good but had a hair in it.

Now this review is coming to you with a twist. Question? How long do you think it would take to make a Club Sandwich, given you have all of the ingredients at hand! Well let tell you how long it took me once my order was placed…. Never got it! 45 minutes of patiently waiting and not saying a word, I never had a bite. Now when asked how long! I was clearly reminded that orders are placed as they come in. Do you know how many people come in to a fast food restaurant in 45 minutes! So yes I got my money back and a few choice words were said, and that’s that, never again.
Here’s the twist I like their food and yes it gets busy, I am sure they are busy but 45 minutes and then attitude I don’t except that.

Update we grab some fries on the way and it seems like covid hurt them what used to be a full bag of good fries that was well price is now crumbs over cooked half bag for extra money ya I won't make the extra miles for that any time soon

Friendly neighborhood dinner where you'll get good service with good food.
Their breakfast potatoes are the best along with the beans.
Well worth a try.

Fast friendly service. Their french fries were exceptional and I yearn to go back there just for them again. The perch roll was very good as well.

Should hire more friendly staff. Walked in and sat down and only got a dirty look from the waitress. Did not even acknowledge we were there for 20 minutes. Meanwhile there was only 3 other tables to take care of at the time. Which was around 6pm.
We left this place and will never return. Bad for your business.
Travels must stay away from this place. Very unfortunate because she will prevent this place from making a living in such a bad economy. I feel sorry for the restaurant owner!

Worst meal in the 4500 kms I drove. Waited over a hour for the food. My chicken club was so dry I could not eat it, no butter on the toast and no mayo. Fries were burnt. I had ordered gravy on the side it was missing. I asked for it they said I did not order it. The staff was rude to each other, and to customers. I paid 20.00 for a meal I could not eat. Just drive by, not worth the stop.

Waited in drive through for over 25 min with only 1 car infront of us. Food was standard yummy chip wagon style.

Stopped to fill up with gas on a road trip, and saw the Bordeaux restaurant next door. Had a delicious burger and fries. Lots of choice and reasonable prices.

Very affordable. Big portions of tasty meals. The clan showder is unique. Friendly service. Great breakfast and lunch. And, the neighbor has cheap gas.

Delicious! Great little restaurant. Everything is so fresh! One must have the date square.they are to die for yummy!

Great little independent dinner just off the highway with drive-thru. I always stop in when going to and from Montreal. It has amazing steamy hot dogs and fries. Quick and efficient. Like to support the local small guy rather than the chains.

Great coffee, great food and a awesome environment for a wonderful yet diner like atmosphere. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Absolutely none of the staff were wearing masks while preparing food, the restaurant was dirty and everyone was pretty rude too. Oh yea, when my food did eventually finish getting prepared after waiting 50 minutes in the drive thru, I didn’t have any because I was so off put by the conditions it was prepared in. Doubt I missed out on much though, it looked excessively greasy and low quality. Also, it was RIDICULOUSLY expensive given what I got. Wish I never went there, really ruined the vibe that day.

Quality and service, awesome. Put plainly I wouldn't hesitate to call again. Yes to dine in you will be asked to provide it, but it's the same thing as any place else. Keep up with the great work you do. Oh and please let Grandma her date squares are out of this world.

We went through the drive through and were met by a disorganized, rude server who proceeded to not only forget our order once, but three times. He kept asking me what my order was and when I showed him the receipt he told me he couldn’t read military time and forgot my order again. When I finally complained that about 10 people had been served before us, the cook slapped together the most nauseating, disgusting food I have ever had two bites of. The perch roll was covered in a mucus like mayonnaise that left a rancid taste in my mouth for hours. Please, avoid this horrific establishment at all cost.

As you drive from Toronto towards Montreal and you pass Cornwall, you have the chance to find this great little stop along highway 20 in Lancaster. You'll find the comfort food that makes you happy and a great group of people to make you feel that it was worth the stop!

Terrible service, mediocre food! I think this place may have been sold recently and the service, food & everything in general has steeply declined. We won't be going back ever again!

Best Lancaster perch on the planet. I would not be surprised if Besos would order some for his flight into space that's coming up soon!

Hot and freshly made after using the drive through to order. The garbage was overflowing and people had left a mess but the food was excellent and fairly priced.

This is hands down the best restaurant in all of northern glengarry. Boudreau’s has the best of everything. It’s too bad it’s not in the boundaries of Alexandria it would challenge ALL the restaurants. The food comes out fast and it’s steaming hot! Not to mention mouth watering. The cook and waitress (no matter who you get) are so sweet it’s literally like sitting down at grams while she fixes you your favourite food! If you’re looking for a sign from the universe to go and eat here— this is it. Head over!

I stop here every time I go to Montreal. Food is always great. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone! Steamies and poutine are just awesome.
