Call in the morning for them to keep something for me (last one in stock)
I arrived and it was on a trolley at front door with my none on it!
Two young lads helped me load it into my car.
It was 300lbs.

TERRIBLE customer service! I had come in to exchange an item I had bought a few minutes before because the nozzle broke when I tried to open it. I was told that I didn't know "how to turn to the left" and could I not follow instructions. I said I had followed the instructions and asked if she would open the new item and even she couldn't after several attempts, so she gave it to a coworker to look at. When he and I got it to work, she very loudly said in front of other customers (we were now away from the cash) and from across the room that I had deliberately broken it because I didn't know how it worked.

It is a shame that when you are the only hardware store in town that you can treat customers like that. Would you speak that way to or about someone who was elderly or had a disability? As a customer I did not make disparaging remarks about the customer service rep when she could not work the item, why is it acceptable for customers to be spoken to and at like that?

I would recommend taking the extra commute and head to Rona.

Vraiment digne de mention. Plusieurs employés sont là pour répondre à nos questions et nous présenter leur différents produits. Le lieu est toujours propre et bien rangé. Beaucoup plus grand et plus de choix que dans l'ancien magasin.

Normally I am very happy with the service at this store however I would like to say obviously they aren't training staff these days to not judge people by how they look. My husband suffered a terrible work injury years ago and has trouble to lift anything too heavy. So when he comes to get a new bottle of water 5 gallon from your store and asks for a flat bed cart or help bringing it to the car he shouldn't be judged or questioned about it by your employees and then customers because your staff questioned him in the first place. Are you not training your employees now a days that not all injuries and disabilities are not visible. I am so disappointed and disgusted by the attitude my husband got from your young lady cashier. I love supporting local businesses but maybe we won't come to you anymore if that is how he is going to be treated. I am fully aware he could of explained himself but why should he, it isn't his job to have to explain why he asked for help or a flat bed cart. It is your job as a company to train your employees properly and you obviously have not done so. Also being told there are carts right there, hello my husband is fully aware that you have carts but lifting a 5 gallon water bottle in and out isn't easy for anyone let alone someone who has a back injury.

Very friendly staff and my go to place when I need something in a pinch. They also have a key cutting service here.

Local hardware store. Pretty good selection given its smaller size, bust just like any other store they can order stuff in. Lumber selection is small and they only have about 6 parking spaces however you can park along the street which makes up for it.
