Total waste of time. There was no family doctor to see for months after Dr. Fueller left. My wife is pregnant for almost 7 months.only a nurse was taking appointments (after 2-3 week wait times). She never responded to the reports sent by various testing labs. She was unable to refer a gynacologist too. I would suggest not to go here unless only for walk in clinic only.

Dr Parmeswaran is super helpful and caring and it trickles down to the entire staff. Trisha and Pam are fantastic

The hours are not clearly communicated. I have been there a few times and each time had to leave with family & go to other clinics west of Bowmanville. My granddaughter was turned away due to volume yesterday 1 hr before the clinic was to close. I went back today at 8 am as posted on the website only to find they open at 10 am.
Please update your websites with the correct hours is all I ask. I am retired from health care & appreciate the health care struggles.

Went to see Dr. Luke today and had a great visit! Grateful to have a doctor like Dr. Luke. Reception personnel were very cheerful and pleasant and checked me in very fast.

I would not recommend going to this urgent care. I feel so much more stressed out than I did going in. The doctor barely let me get two words in and assumed what was right for me. It was only after when I was driving home that I realized he misunderstood the dates I was telling him. According to him all women get periods twice a month.

I was in pain and The receptionist completely ignored me, pretending that I am not there to register me. I felt like I am a beggar to seek medical help. Did not appreciate it at all.

4 yrs coming here for blood work and X Rays. All my visits were satisfactory, All staff friendly and helpful.re satisfactory.

Went in for a walk in half an hour before they opened and found 10 people in line. Had to pay inflated prices for a face mask because i forgot one. I had 2 ailments and was immediately told by front desk that only one doctor was working and only one issue could be addressed. Then got into the waiting room and my phone rang and the attendant was quite rude when I went to go silence my ringer, she also felt like she was rushing get through my medical history and I did not appreciate that. Healthcare is about caring for people and everything about my visit initially indicated that this office does not care. To make matters worse i overhear some staff in the hallway outside my waiting room having a loud conversation about how the workplace is unenjoyable. The actual doctor who looked at me was the only saving grace as she took the time to listen to my issues and it felt like she genuinely cared.

I wish I could give 0 stars. This place is an absolute JOKE! I’ve been going to this doctors office since I was born. 1995. My doctor retired and had a different doctor take over his practice. You would think that doctor would just automatically take on all his old patients, right? No instead they call on a no caller ID phone number to do a phone interview to see if she will take you as a client. First of all who answers no caller ID phone calls now a days? So I missed the call. I’m pregnant and In need of a family doctor and this office rejected me because I missed a phone call. They won’t take on new patients. How am I considered a new patient when they have my files since 1995 and I’ve never had another family doctor? I can’t believe this place, leaving a pregnant women hanging, how disgusting. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. Especially Dr Gordana Popovic you should be real ashamed. What a great health care system we have.

First of all, I understand there’s a limit to how many patients they can take.
Second, in my situation that shouldn’t matter at all. When dr. Burke retired I was told Dr. Papovic (or whatever her name is I personally don’t care because she likes to leave pregnant women hanging) took over his practice which means to me she’s taking over his patients. I was told to get on her roster I need to answer a phone call from her, (why? I’ve been a patient there since 1995 you can clearly see all my files but sure I’ll answer your phone call) but how am I supposed to know the doctors office is calling when they call on a no caller ID? Who answers no caller Id phone calls? Maybe if they told their patients “we call on a no caller ID” I wouldn’t of missed the phone call. So I missed the phone call and was told I need to pay because I missed the phone call and never heard anything back? Also, why would a doctor take over another doctors office and already have patients and not be able to take on the original patients? That’s not how it should work. I’ve been a patient with dr. Burke since I was born, I’ve been going to that clinic for 27 years and this service I experienced was absolutely disgusting. I will NEVER go back here and will be leaving a bad review for Dr Gordana Popovic.

Great experience. Wait times are posted online via medi maps. Health center was bright, clean and modern. Wait time in the clinic was very fair. Most importantly the doctor I saw as a walk in was excellent.

This is the best hospital.their new fast tracking is awesome.in and out around 2 hrs.good job to the nurse and doctor today.very professional and great bedside manners

I recently had to attend the urgent care at the Bowmanville health centre with my 3 month old. First thing- I just wanted to thank everyone there, reception to the doctors, that have the very tough job of dealing with sick and often worried people.
Romana, the person that was my first point of contact at the front, was absolutely lovely to deal with! She was compassionate, kind and efficient. I cannot thank her enough for easing the nerves of a parent that was quite upset to be back in urgent care after spending 6 days in the hospital over Christmas. Thank you so, so much Romana!
Then, the nurse, Samantha, topped that off by also being great to us!
I think it’s important to make note when you are treated well, not just bad. These people are working in an extremely high stress environment and I’m sure regularly treated poorly. I get it- it’s scary and upsetting when you or someone you love is not well, but we should feel lucky to have people like this there to help us when we need them.
