We unexpectedly bought a new house recently and discovered Boxed Inn. Don has been such a pleasure to deal with. He has great tips, quality products and has gone above and beyond to make sure we have our products when we need them, even delivering them after hours.
Since we were impressed with the products, we decided last minute to have Boxed Inn come and do a small move for us to prepare the house for sale, on very short notice. Don accommodated us and his team, Steve, Fabian and Dave showed up Saturday earlier than scheduled and used every inch of the storage cube we rented. They were fast, very pleasant and efficient. We intend on using them for the actual move to the new house. Great service all around.

I use Boxed Inn when we have to wrap our costume inventory after we finish a show. They provide what we need with great service. Plus the name always makes me laugh.

Damaged half of my stuff during the move and refused to compensate. Terrible company and rude customer service. DO NOT TRUST OR USE THEM. Typical moving company that rips you off.

We used these guy 2 times now. They have fantastic service, hardworking and quick. Highly highly recommend. Excellent rates compared to other moving companies.

I feel compelled to write this review with all of the recent cbc marketplace videos on “bad movers”. The guys at Boxed In moved my wife and I a number of years back. There was absolutely no funny business. The price was quoted upfront, it was extremely reasonable, they showed up when they said they would, the owner swung by at one point to make sure the movers were doing a good job, they unpacked everything for us the same day at our new house, we paid the original quoted price and we were done.

We are very happy with our Boxed Inn moving experience. Don was very helpful in setting things up, attended in person and provided good moral support. The move happened in three parts: move-out (3 level townhome), move-in (apartment style condo) and drop-off at a storage facility. The moving crew was very experienced and efficient and respectful of us, neighbors, our belongings and the the properties we moved from and into. The price was very good and we recommend Boxed Inn to everyone.

The crew that helped us move were professional and very helpful. They made the move so much easier. Thanks to Don and his efficient team!

My husband called at 6: 00pm asking the store what time they will be opened until. The store replied 6: 30pm. My husband told them that he will be arriving at 6: 15pm. At 6: 15, we arrived at the store and found it closed. A store that does not commit to their business hours that THEY set should not be in business. And the fact we called in advance and they STILL left early is not acceptable. We went to the Uhaul next door with much better prices. 99 cents for 25 small boxes. Save your time and energy and go there and don’t even bother coming here because they may not be open.

I recently picked up some packing supplies from Boxed Inn. Service was quick. I rented three dollies and did not check ahead of time if they would all fit into my car. Was rushed the afternoon they were due to be returned and could only make it back with 1 of the 3 in time before closing.
Owner was very kind and said I could return them asap the next day instead as an exception.
Very kind as moving expenses rack up quickly.

I have used this company twice now and each time they have been great to deal with. Movers are very friendly (and funny), show up on time, and treat my furniture as if it were their own. I have another move scheduled for late-May and am confident that they will deliver once again. Thanks guys!

I contacted this company because I drove past it everyday and they had moving supplies.

I bought lots of boxes there and then I got a quote for my move. The first quote was by email.

The owner came over after the first quote and then re-quoted.

We agreed on may emails prior to the move that the price was correct and that I would pay him cash after the move.

The 3 movers arrived a little late and slowly started to empty our apartment. The trip to the elevator was about 15 feet straight ahead. In my opinion, it took way longer to move the apartment then it did to move to the apartment from a 4 bedroom house.

When they went to move our fridge, they said they needed to take the doors off, even though when the movers brought it in they only took off the handles!
There are instructions on the freezer door on how to remove it, but the movers didn't follow the instructions and therefore took it apart more than it was recommended!

Since we were moving out of town - a 6 hour drive - they wanted to pack their truck and then drive it up the next day. That just happened to be a snow storm day - as was mentioned by me to them the day before.

They arrived around the time we expected and began the unloading in the light snow.

When all was done they left me to put the fridge back together.

When I came time to pay, they wanted another 20% on top of the quote!

I told them I had a quote and that was all I was paying! That was all the cash I had.

They left.

The next day I went to put the fridge back together, and there was a missing piece. The piece the door actually swings on.

I contacted this company and they were no help. I contacted the manufacturer and they did not have the part any more. (5 year old fridge)

Now we do not have a working fridge.

We had to buy another fridge. I sent the owner a link to a comparable fridge for payment from his insurance company and was basically told to take a hike since I didn't 'pay my bill' - remember he wanted 20% more than agreed upon.

Be very careful people. It is companies like this that give the good movers a bad name.
