We went to look for Christmas decor and when checking out the lady wrapping the glass decorations would wrap them but clank them all together when putting them in the bag.

Also, went to use the washroom but didn’t as it was disgusting. Told TWO workers to let them know, as I assume others would not like to use the bathroom, BOTH looked at us harshly said okay and then ignored us. We asked if someone would be coming along to clean it soon, we were again ignored.

Super unimpressed. Horrible customer service.

It was excellent so much to see oh my beautiful Christmas things unfortunately Im on a budget I could have easily spent a few thousand I'd definitely return BUT YOU NEED BUS SERVICE THAT COMES THERE NOT EVERYONE DRIVES AND I AM ONE OF THEM I was fortunate to have a friend who wanted to attend the Soriee if not I would not have been able to attend PLEASE PLEASE look into having bus service that can at least drop you at the lights there

While I have no complaints about the quality of the product we recieved, if anyone were to ask for a recommendation the one thing I would say is buyer beware.

We were looking for eucalyptus branches as well as white roses and dahlias for a table runner. We emailed them with sample pictures and table dimensions asking for a quote. The amount they recommended seemed extremely high, but we didn't want to deviate too far for fear of a sparse table setting. We ended up ordering 33% less flowers than recommended as we had other table decor to incorporate and 20% less eucalyptus bunches.

Come day of we pick up the flowers and take them to destination for setup. Five minutes in it's obvious there is way too much. We used just under half of the amount of eucalyptus, a number we had already reduced. With plenty of time before the event I called to inquire about potentially returning the unused amount. I was told there was confusion regarding the table size. What confusion I'm not sure as it was never expressed prior nor had I even mentioned table size during the phone call. It felt like so much blind rhetoric to deal with cases of over estimation. I was then told that due to it being a special order they were unable to accept returns, which I accepted.

Credit where credit's due, everything looked amazing. I was able to find a single leaf that needed pruning. If like me however you're expecting your money to buy a practiced hand, I'd either look elsewhere or arrive prepared. We made the mistake of trusting in their expertise and we were sorely let down to the tune of $500 (over $800 had we stuck to their estimate). At best with an original quote 60% higher than needed, they're woefully inexperienced, at worst they're padding your bill. Buyer beware.

Edit to answer: We don't seem to have differing accounts, I agree we did give initial material quantities and table dimensions. That's what made the claim on your end of "confusion regarding table size" so puzzling and disappointing after we deferred to your judgment of drastically increasing the quantity.

To blame larger than normal product as the reason for your team's original estimation being two and a half times what we actually used strikes me as ludicrous. Ordering extra is prudent; only using 40% of the estimate is wasteful.

I have yet to buy a plant there that doesn’t die. When I purchase plants from Rona they fare way better. I’ve had plants from Rona for years that flourish and split. The decor items at BGH are great but I think they are supposed to be greenhouse first.

It is a large greenhouse with lots of options. The variety of plants they get in is quite good and a fair amount to choose from. The variety is always changing as well.
Both indoor tropicals, outdoor gardening and faux indoor decor is available. They have everything from birdhouses and soil to trees and Crotons.
The majority of plants are healthy and will do just fine, the odd one has issues.
I do not like the return policy, most greenhouses I have been to have a plant guarantee, they do not.
In the summer because the doors are open, it's hard to buy tropical plants without worrying about the bugs that have got to them.
In the winterer it is a plant paradise and a Christmas haven.
Overall it is a pleasant environment with friendly people and a selection worth visiting

Love going here! Sometimes just to walk amongst the flowers, ask staff on plants who are very helpful, and if they don't know they find someone who does

Overpriced pretentious store, all plants there have mites, bugs and mildew. Every time I bring a new plant home from here, it infests my other plants and I have to take action against the invaders. Today, a woman there was so rude to me, a bigger girl with mousy brown hair and a lip ring, she works there, not sure what she does but she is neither helpful nor polite. Better off to take your money elsewhere unless you like bugs and poor customer service.

Best place I know for trees and flowers but they also sell pea stone, limestone, triple mix etc.by the yard

Spent a long time selecting what we thought were great mums. Purchased 2 pots 60 bucks. When we placed them in car, a whole infestation of live aphids came crawling out. Returned immediately to store. Not good.

I always have tons of flowers on my huge deck and grow my own also to put in baskets. 5 of my hanging baskets that I purchased from Bradfords have died mid July once again this year! None of my other hanging baskets or flowers I planted in containers have done this and are all still growing very well. When I tipped the dieing ones over to put in the brown bag I noticed a very important thing which caused my baskets to die from Bradfords. They didnt included again this year the little bottom tray that fits inside the bottom of the basket to help with drainage when watering which would then cause root rot in their hanging baskets. I am so disappointed! By that since my other flowers with last until the end of Aug because I take great care of them. I guess Bradfords have been cutting back on costs for not including this very important piece inside their hanging baskets. I did call them about this last year! I had forgotten all about that and now remember! I will not get my hanging baskets from Bradfords ever again! Terrible they do this.

We did a design and install with Audriana of BGG for our remodel. From start to finish Audriana was professional and polite. The final product was amazing and when the installer started to fall behind Audriana came out and helped finish the job (was a really hot day)! Would recommend the service to anyone looking for a pro garden starting from scratch!

It was one of my best experience ever! Beautiful place! Very polite people! I wish I knew about this place earlier! We bought strawberry plants and orange tree, but I went back and last minute I bought also one hydrangea - it is best hydrangea ever! Also I had a chance to chat with Customer service, and it was so amazing, before this I would never believe that you can speak with customer service with zero stress, only with pleasure!

I definitely will come back and recommend this place to everybody!?

Two stars because most of the employees were very nice. However, I am not sure why people love this place. I bought two hanging baskets and as soon as I came home they were dying. Tried to return them the next day, and they told me they were over watered, well it must have been them that over watered them. But they would not give me a refund. So I brought them back home. And ended up throwing them out a few days later waste of money. Also they are over priced, and besides the hanging baskets, the other items I bought weren't that great either. My impatients are stunted and last year I just got them from elsewhere cheaper and they bloomed so big, in the same spot. I don't think I'll be returning here.

We contacted the landscape design team in the Barrie store and requested a consultation to help with garden planning. Audriana arrived and drew up a plan for us, which we loved. Work began Jun 27 with an amazing crew and we couldn’t be happier with our new gardens. Many thanks to all. We love our gardens Audriana and we especially enjoyed meeting you! We will highly recommend you and your team.

Excellent prices on air plants. You can find lots of decorations for outside living and gardens, gifts and of course, plants and flowers of all sorts. Very pleasantly arranged store!

Very poor customer service from the Store Manager in Barrie location. Patronizing attitude and comments, completely rigid on return policy, and apparently willing to sacrifice customer satisfaction and any future business to ensure he’s “right” and following policy to the letter. We will not be shopping at this business anymore. We like to shop local so will go to Ego’s, Kell’s, or Springwater Garden Centres instead.

The wife and I were looking to buy some fruit trees for our yard. Visited BGH and were very impressed with the service. From the ladies we asked general questions to, to the gentleman in the tree section. All were knowledgeable and very eager to help. Very patient and helped us through the entire selection process.
Customer service was an A+.
We recommend this location.

Have been buying my plants and Christmas urns for over 10 years and have been a very loyal customer. I was given a credit note just before COVID in the amount of $25 and when I went several weeks ago to use this I was told there should have been a gift card with this. I explained that I was not given that at the check out only the credit receipt. A manager came over to discuss and told me the same thing I then explained that I was not given that nor did I know to ask for that. I said that this should have been the staff's responsibility to supply this and if they were not trained to do so the how is that my fault. I was then told by the manager that I should not disrespect her staff that way. Really!? She then took the receipt and told me should would investigate and call me by Friday the 20th of May. I did not hear from anyone as I suspected would happen so I called and left her a message. Of course she has yet to return my call. It is not about the $25 is is about fair customer treatment and not blaming the customer. I will make sure I tell everyone I know not to shop there as they could care less. Really disappointed in the treatment I have received.

So many plants! More plants than I've seen at any other gardening center! Nice covered greenhouse and SO MANY PLANTS.

Always “the place to go to get the things that grow”. It is like an adventure from the time you enter the front entranceway. Not just gardening but home decoration, clothing, and more. So much to see, endless variety.and well presented displays to catch your imagination.

It was so relaxing tonbe surrounds by aall the plants. Truly, amazing variety and helpful staff. We always look forward to our Bradford Trips
