Braids and Wigs

Purchased two bonnets, last Saturday. I tried to return them a week later, unopened but was advised they only allow a store credit. The bonnets are poor quality so I’m forced to purchase other items I do not need or another poor quality bonnet. Unscrupulous business practices, I will not shop here again.

I ordered from this store and 7 items were missing from my order. I have called, email multiple times and no one is helping me. I'm going to make a tik tok video about this store stealing my money. Update: I was contacted by the store and they apologized and sent me the remainder of my missing items and also offered a discount to future purchases. Thank you so much for correcting the situation in a timely fashion.

The staff are absolutely lovely people, including the lady, Maria (I think) who installed my straight loc extensions earlier this year. 2 visits and hundreds of dollars and my locs looked great for a few weeks til the extensions started slipping, meaning a maintenance appointment, and another couple hundred bucks was necessary after only 2 months. I didn't realize til a few months into my loc journey that the reason my locs were slipping, and why they were all bumpy and nasty looking is because the tech actually just braided my hair into the extension, then lightly locced the bottom strands together to keep them from unraveling. As they slipped the bumps formed. Nothing I can do to save them, my choice is to live with it or start over. And who has another grand to spend on hair that was supposed to last a lifetime, twice in 8 months? ! I hope my experience was a fluke and nobody else has the same problem. Frustrating to say the least, especially because they're all so lovely and that makes it hard to complain, and because nothing can be done to fix it now

I’ve purchased a wig from here I really like their wigs because the quality is good and the price point is fair too. I’ve recently gotten some tape ins installed here which they did an excellent job. Plus it was frustrating that other places I contacted said they install tape ins but only if I purchased the hair they purchased from their supplier. Which is frustrating because this is my first time with tape in’s and I spent a few hundred dollars ordering some online that were made custom. I was frustrated that other businesses weren’t taking my dilemma into consideration just so they could money grab off their customers. I was relieved to find Braids and Wigs. This is a good place to go. I will go back again.

Great place to get varieties of items you need for your hair and also kids as well.

Good place for buying your hair stuff and good price too. Accessible by public transit, free parking for your car.

As an early 30ies woman with breast cancer I visited this store while struggling with my imminent hair loss. I was welcomed warmly and treated with kindness and compassion. The women working here where so fun and encouraging and told me I would love my wig journey. They helped me find a simple wig I felt represented me and would be easy to wear even on hard days. They helped me pick out a soft sleeping cap as well! The prices are great, and the service was fantastic, I would highly recommend this shop to any woman with cancer or hair loss struggles!

Love the store! My only issue was any wig I requested, they only had the display wig and if I wanted it, the discount was only 5%! Even though it had been handled and tried on by many people. If you do not have the wig in stalk, it seems only fair to remove the display wig or at least sell at a fair discounted price (15%)

I'm fighting cancer and these wonderful ladies helped me find the right wig. Prices are amazing, I will definitely be back

Imagine a store selling braids, wigs and hair products for all exotic types in Toronto, ON, especially the kind that you'll find in the Sheridan Mall and you have the exact store here in London, ON located at 1478 Dundas Street! Believe me when I say, 'you shall not be disappointed! ':)

This is the only establishment in London I’ve gone to. I love how the staff are knowledgeable on products and I also like getting their opinions on the styles I can do since I am indecisive. I have brought other friends here and they have received the same great service that I have. 10/10

First time at this location. Staff was very nice when I came in. They do have a wide range of items. Store was clean. I was looking for a hair piece extension. Lady that was working helped me match it (I had to match it thru the plastic and box), therefore upon getting home and being in natural light and out of the box the color was off. Went back to the store, same staff was working and I said I didn't even know what the policy was but I wanted to return it. She said she had to help another client I said ok she went to get the 'manager' who told me No Returns and shows me on the receipt. WHY couldn't the sales lady tell me that up front and in person? (Instead was dismissive and got her manager). I'm a happy go lucky person so I came in all smiles. I let the manager know I have never been there and I was never told upon the purchase that hair pieces are final sale. EDUCATE YOUR STAFF PLS! I even offered to purchase something else if they didn't want to give me a refund. NOPE, all the manager did was say sorry, while the lady that sold it to me didn't even bother to look at me. Nice ladies don't get me wrong, but when you get new clients inform them of your do's and don't upon sing up. Thank you
