Some teachers are very nice such as Mr Mundi and Mr kemrer. These two teachers helped me a lot and they care very much about their students. Mr kemrer’s class you don’t have to worry that much because he’s an amazing teacher and teaches very well! You can ask for extensions but you should give a valid reason to him so that he can give you more time. He usually doesn’t care about deadlines but if you don’t submit anything by the day you say then he won’t accept it. On the other hand, Mr. Mundi is the best math teacher I ever got in gr 12 because he explains everything so well and his test isn’t that difficult if you study the hw questions from the textbook. The tips can be challenging but it’s still okay! I remember I made one mistake in class for the assignment. So, I accidentally did the wrong chapter and he didn’t get upset, he just had a talk with me and I was worried about what he would say to me. But he’s very chill and makes sure you pay attention always in his class because sometimes he asks people what to do next for the word problems or about graphing! Another math teacher I had was Ms. Jain she’s okay but I don’t like how she makes her test so difficult! It wasn’t that I didn’t understand the material but she would make up questions for all tests. I would study a lot but I never got high grades in her class but on the exam, I did well! She wants you to focus and ask as many questions in class.

After 4 year of some of the hardest work I ever seen my kid do 5 honours plus 3 awards and the scholar award. You would think they could put aside my childs diploma and cap but instead I was given a hard time and they gave my child a cap that read 2017 along with treating me like a stranger.
Also the parking situation here is just awful to drop your child off and here's a 411 for you parents who like to stop dead in the street to drop your child off the side off the road. You're creating accidents and confusion and the reason why bramptons insurance is so high. And no one appreciates you.

Best School I've ever been to! I graduated in 2020 it has some of the best memories of my teens. The students, although wild are pretty chill as long as you don't start trouble. The diversity was great even tho its in Brampton, and in a bad neighborhood. The students were pretty chill (00-03) The later generations have a mental illness lol.

One complaint I have are the teachers, Ms Bourne for example is messed up she threw a Lysol bottle at a student and later bragged about it to us. Mrs Bertrand suffers from the favoritism bias. She will not help students struggling if she does not like them. She's very passive aggressive and will even embarrass you in front of the class if she really dislikes you.

Mr. Vale was nice and thoughtful even though he was a little creepy and cringe sometimes. Not that bad of a school.

Complete garbage school.

The guidance councillors are useless, majority of teachers don't care and most students are not really the most ambitious and caring out there.

The science department is filled with the most obnoxious, useless staff who have been getting too comfortable and need to be replaced ASAP. They reuse the same material every year (even exams are unchanged), and are uninterested in actually teaching.

The other departments aren't that bad, and it's great that Mr. Kidd cares and is actually trying to improve the school. It'll probably be a few more years until the school is bearable, but for now it's complete garbage. The main problems are:

1) Trash, useless guidance councillors

2) Trashy Science Department (Especially the teachers who have been here too long, new science teachers aren't bad)

3) Unengaged student body, no worthwhile extracurriculars or anything for students to do outside of the classroom

There are MUCH better schools around here and I highly advise those who are thinking about going to BSS and actually care about their future, to avoid this school at all costs, for now. Perhaps in 3-5 years assuming Mr. Kidd stays, it'll be better. But for now, schools like STA are much much better. I spent a year at STA and it was much better than this trashy school

I would give this school 1 star, but Mr. Kidd is actually improving the school and it may be better in a few years.

This school makes me feel uncomfortable, I don't know why, but maybe its because the school is super flat and smells like an old age home.
