I took my friend to try the food for the first time she really enjoyed the fact that we were taken such a great care by (Geeta) she made sure our order was ready on time meanwhile we had indian tea in this cold weather which was amazing. Butter chicken was perfect Goat curry and butter naan was very delicious. I asked for mild and it was perfectly done. I highly recommend all my friends.
The place is great with delicious food and snacks. Also the different varieties of sweets adds to the flavour of the restaurant. Would definitely look to visit again.
Always fantastic. Best Dal Makhni I've had. Breads are all great. I've loved nearly everything I've had from here. 5+ stars. (Bonus points because their descriptions on Skip make me smile)
Best place for Indian food. I visited the restaurant with my family today for dinner. The customer service they provide is beyond expectations and food as well is amazing.
These guys deliver you whatever they have in stock irrespective of what you've ordered. I ordered a couple of sweets of Diwali, keeping in mind the allergies that run through our family. Got sent the wrong types of sweets without any prior communication. And I ordered this in the afternoon for the Pooja in evening, so no use of returning the boxes too, after opening it so late. Disappointed and looking for a homeless guy now to give away the food. Got pulaav instead of Biryani. And a small single shot of chatni with 6 samosas
Samosas were really really nice but that was pretty much the only thing available at that time - probably being festive times, they were looking to close early too
Hands down best indian food in all of Ottawa, being a big foodie and have tried quite a few places in ottawa as I keep visiting food of this place is the best, and owner Ravi is amazing he is super generous and kind to accoomodate our needs. Thank you Ravi for the surprise it was really very kind of you
The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had in Ottawa. Especially the Tandoori Chicken and Goat Curry, Highly recommend!
I'm from Brampton, and this is no where near authentic. The butter chicken was a heavy tomato base and the other curries are clearly cut with a flour because they were lackluster. For the price I would expect so much more. The best part was the naan (which I waited an extra 10 mins for despite ordering in advance). Don't expect this to taste like home.
Speechless about the food! I had been craving samosa chaat and Jalebis for a long time and what an amazing way to satiate my cravings! The best I have eaten so far in Canada! So tastefully made. The Chicken Biryani and Tandoori chicken are to die for. I loved this place so much the first time I went with my husband that the 2nd time I went, I took my work colleagues along to taste this amazing food! And they are so happy too! You guys have definitely found a long term customers in us Sure to come again and again!
UPDATE: Sometimes the food here is P. E. R. F. E. C. T, like 10/10 pure bliss, perfection. And sometimes it's horrible (too salty, too watered down) 5/10. Brampton, you're breakin' my heart (I love you).
I have had wonderful experiences with these guys. I just entered their store and a lady offered me a glass of sweet lassi! First, I was shocked and denied to accept as I wasn't ordered that. But that lady told very politely to accept for free. I feel lucky to have that as it was too tasty! Thanks a lot for your great customer service!
Today one of my friends ordered the food from Brampton foods that was samosas and chole bhature. Honestly that was really amazing, the samosa was so crunchy and seems to be much fresh than others and the bhature was really soft and tasty, I love love love that.while eating samosa it feels like pure taste Indian samosas.
Had an excellent experience with this place so far. Food quality and hospitality is impressive. Every dish is authentic and gives you a mouth watering savor. The owners of the place also go above and beyond to give you a memorable experience.
Probably the best indian food I've tasted in Ottawa. Have recently tried their chicken tikka, veg noodles, chilli chicken and sweets. All of them reminded me of the top notch Indian fast food! They are serving momos as well with the authentic chutney. Also, you can't go wrong with their main course meals. Highly recommended!
The best restaurant in the town. I order quite often from this place and every time I have received my order with perfection. Amazing quality and the quantity is worth the price. Thums up, I highly recommend this place.
Just had an awesome experience with hospitality and care at Brampton foods. We had ordered food for 30 guests for a party. The owner Mr. Ravinder Singh personally took charge of menu selection, food preparation and also delivery (it’s generally pickup only). The food was great in both - quality and quantity (we actually had surplus). They made sure to treat us as if they were hosts, leaving us free to entertain our guests. I’ve personally not seen this level of service anywhere else. Highly recommended for catering orders and sweets. (Try dhaba chicken and Aloo gobhi if you haven’t already - we loved it).
This is the only Legit kitchen to get best Indian Food in Ottawa. On top of it they always give extra food. You will find the Quality and Quantity both at same place.
I ordered 2 Chana Bhatura yesterday night, first of all it was not ready on time even after giving them the exact timing for pick up, secondly instead of bhatura they made puri's and that too very hard that we couldn't eat, I still have pictures of them, full waste of money, as last year I visited here and got chiken biriyani and it was the worst biriyani I could ever eat, I had no other option at night to order food from nd thought I should try once again may be last time was just by chance but no, will never visit them again.
The food is fantastic. Karahi Chaap is really delicious over there. Staff is very friendly. I would highly recommend it to the people who want to try Indian food.
My friend and I eagerly were going to get something from Brampton Authentic Indian Food. When we reached the restaurant and used precaution to open the door the owner shook his head in disapproval and said there's nothing wrong with the door. We felt we had to justify taking precautions for no reason. Their food is ok but the encounter left a bad taste in our mouth.
First of all they are extremely rude and overpriced. The sweets were all old and genuinely inedible. We threw out an entire box of sweets because nobody was willing to eat them. The “Hakka” was just noodles and soy sauce with some pepper. Again— not one person who tasted it was willing to eat it.
Hi I would recommend the lamb biryani at most although the other stuff is delicious but, cos its so amazing, brings me here every other day. Must try dish. A genuine thought of consumer
The food is amazing. Very authentic and delicious. The kindness of the staff was my favorite part. I called asking for vegetarian recommendations and they were patient and generous with their time and suggested the most delicious dish with cauliflower and potatoes. Thier Naan is soooooo good! I can't wait to go back. It my new favorite Indian restaurant
Never had a single issue with the food here and for the price it’s pretty reasonably priced compared to other places in the city. I usually get a biryani or butter chicken. You can never go wrong with either or tbh.
If got negative stars or less than one star i will give them the food was so bad. Oily food even the chana sab ji was tasteless they do not give to spoon as well with food can they explain how i can eat food without forks Nd spoons my experience was sooo bad do not waste your money guys try another restaurant please
My wife an I love this place best in the west end for sure there butter chicken is to die for and the staff is so nice to me when I come very welcoming hand down best place for Indian food
The worst biryani i had in my life time. Biryani is just rice in red oil with preboiled chicken. No masala base no nothing. Its just waste of money and 45 minutes of wait time.
Tandoori chaap - It was not good and price is high Sugarcane juice - too much ginger, tasted like ginger juice Kulfi Falooda - hate to say this, but it was just disgusting (it's not even a falooda, kulfi is supposed to have smooth texture but it has ice crystals) Samosa & chutney - tasty Green chutney - tasty
I took the special chicken bone biryani, and was really disappointed! Not only was the food VERY salty, it just didnt feel like biryani, was more like chicken mixed with 'salty' spiced undercooked rice. Had good amount of chicken, but not enough 'salty' spiced rice! Amount is not too bad for the price, but it just didnt taste like biryani, or i could say it didnt taste good to me!
They added carrot pickle for me though with my order (sweet gesture), which was good! 2/5 only for the amount of chicken, and the pickle they added!
Had my first experience today and tried Chhole Bhature and it was really good. The Aroma, perfect blend of spices everything was great. Bhature was soft and fluffy. Overall, a great experience. Will definitely try their other specialties.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Food is way OVERPRICED for its quality. It was TOO OILY with little flavor and TASTED TERRIBLE. If you are looking for quality food for a good price, this place is not it. There are much better places to eat in Ottawa so please do not waste your time here because you will definitely REGRET it!
Giving it a 1 cause there is no 0. Absolutely horrendous food quality, ordered goat karahi and chicken korma. They gave me butter chicken instead of chicken korma and when I called she said "Must've been mixed up" to her co-worker but insisted that the order was in fact correct. Too much oil was present as well, would never visit again. Waste of money.
