Atrocious customer service at the front desk. I would explain further but why waste my breath. Avoid this location like the plague. WOW.

WARNING! These folks will rip you off.i purchased both hardwood and installtion service from this store.after I purchased the hardwood and paid advance for installation.they wouldn’t start the installation until i paid the all of the installation amount in full.

We typically buy additional 10% of hardwood to include wastage, however for the installation they charged me for the sqft of the hardwood that i bought (additional 10% of actual sqft) not the actual sqft (which is less). When i questioned about this, they made a pale face.their intention is to rip you off if you are not paying attention. Vandana was the lady i was dealing with and she didn’t like when i questioned and started being abusive towards me. At the same time, the installer did a terrible job on installation. Please be careful if you want any installation services from these guys.

I just came to browse options and was generally pointed in the direction of the vinyl floors, no offers to help at all. Plus staff who did pass me almost knocked me over to get by. Not even a polite "excuse me" I will not buy from this store just for that alone! Customer service is something to be remembered!

Bought hard wood flooring the old lady that owns the place tried to rip me off with extra charges My house was freshly painted. The Asian crew of installers destroyed my walls from the base board install. Miter joints were so bad I made them tear off And come back next day and tear every PC base board off and new boards back on,
They were to come back never came

The price is same as compared to other stores. They say the sale is final. No refund. Think before buy anything from here. Sub standard and defective stuff in boxes. That's why it is FINAL sale.

Great place, would highly recommend! The staff and the owners are highly knowledgeable and took time to understand my requirements. They got me a beautiful wide plank hardwood for our custom home and stained it to our exact shade.
The whole experience was very easy and smooth, not to mention- the prices are unbeatable!

Horrible customer service. Quite disappointing because I've purchased floors from them on 3 seperate occasions. Told me to deal with the floor supplier directly after I showed pictures of defects with my latest purchase and were unwilling to accommodate any sort of discount off the sale price. I explained I had 1 extra box and was advised I could complete a return with the original invoice. On my way over after work yesterday, I called in advance to ensure they would still complete the return since traffic was brutal. I was advised someone at the store would help out. I called again prior to arrival to advise I was around the corner, and some other sales rep told me the warehouse was closed and no one could help. I tried to explain the situation and she hung up the phone. I came in today to complete the return and the person assisting me didn't even say a word, processed the transaction and went back to her desk. They were super nice when I spent money to purchase the floors though ‍️.

Wendy is an absolute angel! She is so well educated on the different types of flooring and which type fits best for your needs. She is very informative and helps you understand the different levels of wood. She has made me feel so comfortable every single time I have interacted with her. If you are going here ask for WENDY! You will not be disappointed!

**BUYER BEWARE** DO NOT SHOP HERE! Kumar sales Rep and the GM Joe are the BIGGEST CROOKS in the industry. My elderly father showed up with a sample wood for a colour and size match. Kumar guaranteed that he could match it and the product would be identical. After weeks of lies and delays on when the product would be ready, we later discover through another employee that Brampton hardwood does not produce the size we requested (sample was 3 1/2", he invoiced my father for 3 1/4"). Kumar knowingly defrauded my father. Not only did he waste my time but they would not give us a refund even though the wood was not yet produced or delivered. Joe and Kumar used vulgar language infront of my baby brother and threatened to call the cops if I didn't leave the store. These guys try to squeeze you for every penny. They are also well over priced. I found another hardwood store with the same product for a fraction of the cost. I wish I had read these reviews sooner they are all negative.

Bought flooring material (loose bundle strip), ended up one strip short (3ft x 2in) Went to store to try and get missing piece. Was told I could only buy by the box. That’s 17.5 sqft at over $100. Absolute waste of time. Now I have an unfinished floor and refuse to pay over $100 for one piece and have 17sqft of material that’s not needed.

Kumar is the best. I've been dealing with him for years and he is just great. His knowledge and kindness go a long way

I have bought hardwood from the store 75 west drive. They have excellent service and product! I am completely satisfied with their products. I would highly recommend to others to go overthere and buy the floors because their prices are very genuine thanks

Don’t waste your time or money! Terrible experience. These people are thieves. They sold us the wood at $6.79 and I found the exact same wood from another place for $4.79. On top of that the customer service was horrible…the manager, an older Indian lady was quite disrespectful and impatient when I asked her for some samples. Perhaps the staff need some North American customer service training. There are many other good places to shop. The Brampton location is terrible. I design homes and I will never go back to this or any other Brampton Hardwood location.

Absolutely terrible customer service. You’ll get hung up on mid-phone call if they don’t want to answer your question about their product which you’ve already purchased.

They get points for upfront pricing. Probably, the lowest prices in the area. HOWEVER, poor customer service such as returning calls.

We made an order, had it delivered and the order was short 5 cases. Called them back. They promised to make up for delivery when a delivery truck would pass by my house in the next while and drop it off. We waited as our project was not due to be started. Waited a week, still no delivery. Tried calling back multiple times; no response; always getting the turnaround. Only after 2-3 weeks was there somebody who would take up our concerns. At this point, we had to go back to the store and pick up the last 5 boxes that were originally not delivered.

The only people who should or could possibly shop here are contractors or handymen who make frequent trips and have accounts: as they would be respected as repeat customers. Do not shop here if you are one time customer.

This could easily have been a 4+ star review if they had just own up to their error. Mistakes do happen: just fix them.

I don't often leave poor reviews, but this was one of the worst customer service experiences we've ever had. We were lied to on numerous occasions and essentially robbed in the end. We were referred to this company (previously Brampton Hardwood Flooring at 59 Bramalea) and Kumar was our point person on the floor. He suggested an engineered hardwood product by Vidar – a product we're happy with, so this review is only a reflection of the customer service – but Kumar was dishonest about the thickness of the top layer. He said it was 3 mm and we later found out from the company, Vidar, that it's only 2 mm – a small difference, but early evidence of deception vs.honesty. Kumar then pressured us to buy significantly more hardwood than we felt we needed, assuring us it would be no problem to return what we didn't require. When we picked up our order, we still took more than we needed (100 – 200 sq feet) and were again assured by Kumar that it would be no trouble at all to return any unopened boxes for a full refund minus a 15% restocking fee. We called Kumar several times before making the return to coordinate schedule and confirm details, and both my husband and I received verbal confirmation that this was no problem. We then followed up via email and text message to Kumar's cell with further details and confirmation; however, after my husband went to the trouble of picking up the unopened boxes and bringing them back, he was blatantly denied a refund. They owed us $535 ($630 minus the 15% restocking) and after things got heated, they reluctantly agreed to $315, shortchanging us an additional $220). We were actually in shock at this outcome and thus wanted to warn anyone planning to do business with BH Design Centre. They will try and lure you with competitive pricing and empty promises, and if your experience is anything like ours, they will swindle you of both your time and resources. Buyer beware!

Worst customer service ever encountered, the older lady claims to be the owner, and treating clients as garbage and when we ask to talk a bit nicer, she respond the door is wide open and she does not need any one to buy, can't really think why she is in this business if she behave like this

I wish I could give a BIG FAT 0! Worst place to purchase any material Vanadana Gupta (BNAIYAAAA!) sold us extra boxes of hardwood floor and a told us unused boxes will be returned at no cost. And upon return she expect us to pay 15%. For what? Peeps save urself a hassle and go somewhere else

Extremely unprofessional and unfriendly attitude overall. They are not willing to give the receipt for final payment. Just wrote it with hand that full payment received. Upon asking, I was told by the lady "this is the way we do it".
Don't go there. Their attitudes change after the sale.

Terrible company to deal with, they don’t stand behind there products. The sales team don’t know what they are talking about and it seems like there is never a manger on site which is nice for them when they are trying to not give you the proper money you are owed from a refund.

Never deal with KUMAR he is a liar, Brampton Flooring For the most part are a bunch of scam artists. Sent wrong floors and took forever to get the refund. I was told floors were from Turkey, ended up finding out they lied to get the sale and they were from China. This was for a custom build. Paid a couple hundred dollars for delivery and was told I’d be refunded and to say the least they LIED and am still waiting on refund. I am in dispute transaction with MasterCard. It’s just an absolute headache. Pay extra and save yourself a headache. I have given them 3 months to refund me the money. I was not going to bother with a review but if this stops one other individual from stepping foot in that store than I have done my job. Stay away from Kumar, in addition the owner obviously doesn’t care about customer service at all as I never heard from him once to apologize. This organization rather STEAL your MONEY than earn it. Disgusted and hope this company one day falls flat because that would be deserved

Umm.not sure why these guys are worth giving your money to. Price? If that's what you're after, go for it. Otherwise, dont expect any decency from their so-called service, and expect to be abruptly hung up on when they think the call is done. If your dignity is important to you, I'd suggest putting in a little effort and paying a few more bucks to source elsewhere.

Shopped at the old location. No samples so we purchased a box. Was not able to return it! Went to the new location on West dr, Saw some nice flooring. Asked for a sample. Lady at the desk said no samples were available. “We just moved” we explained we would need a sample in order to decide which floor we would purchase. We were told “too bad”. Well too bad for you as we will not be doing business with you. New location same old attitude. Plenty more flooring stores with nice staff.

Unacceptable behavior from the salesman (young boy) saying that he is the manager though he was not for sure as I confirmed from the other employee.
We were looking for the vinyl flooring we asked him if anything was on sale as we found the rates bit on the higher side he said that’s what we have, my husband said to me that other shop has better rates, this salesman jumped into our conversation and started saying that shop must be selling garbage my husband said no it was the same thing but at a lower rate this guy got hyper and started saying go and buy the garbage from the other shop why are we at their shop I again said it’s our right to talk about the rates he started shouting go and buy garbage. Then the old lady came in between and took away that boy and the other old salesman tried to make us calm by saying he is young let him go! Please stay quite. Bad bad customer service NEVER GOING TO SHOP FROM THERE!

Update: I feel sorry for the business if you are the manager now, I have been to this store before as well and that elderly man had deal with us before. We didn’t treated you bad your response and way you started on us was extremely unacceptable. No matter what stories you make to cover the unprofessional attitude I would highly recommend people to avoid going their and stay respected. There are better varieties and qualities with excellent customer care are available in GTA. For sure a No Go shop for us.

With all due respect I must say 5 star reviews can be purchased for few hundred bucks but the customers are wise enough to differentiate between the real and purchased reviews.

Very bad service. Illitrate people. They do not know how to deal with the customers. Pay them the money and wait for hours to pick your stuff. Moreover they do not give you the right information from where to pick it. All the staff blame each other and harass the customer for not delivering the stuff in time. Customer is nothing for them.

Some of the worst laminate flooring I have ever installed, and that's coming from a contractor. Most boxes had multiple damaged pieces. Bowing in the boards was horrendous. Looking at the floor would chip the edges. Spend your money somewhere else, people. Floor that was $1.99 a square foot should have been closer to $0.75 a square foot.

Update! 2 years after the initial installation and 3 failed attempts to repair the damages, we are left with what I guess Brampton Hardwood calls a"professional installation"

While every company recommends installing luxury vinyl on a flat surface, Brampton Hardwood seems to think installing it on uneven surfaces is "normal".

I strongly discourage anyone from selecting this company to supply and install your flooring. Broken promise after broken promise we are left with a nightmare of a floor.

We have decided to go with Home Depot to remove our disaster of a floor and install new flooring after they level the existing subfloor which Brampton Hardwood should have done to start with.

This was a VERY expensive lesson learned and I hope no one else has to go through the same experience.

I guess the next step for us is to contact a lawyer to get our money back.

I have been coming here for 10 years now.only one bad experience otherwise a great store. Nobody beats their service, price and selection. I am still going there.

I had a bad experience with this company. I found them to be unprofessional and rude, and their work was very bad. There are sanding marks, the stain is uneven, and the finish feels rough. Additionally, there was trash left in my house, and damage done. Do yourself a favor, save yourself a headache, and pick another company.

I went yesterday for purchasing tiles they took the money soon then mentioned us we ca loaf today co.e by tomorrow the I went again in the morning wait for 2hrs to load such a bad customer service people, such a waste service with bad behavior im storongly disappointed

Never every will buy from them!

Very unprofessional, no work ethics or customerserviceskills. The older lady at store full of misleading information. I needed 10mm laminate for half portion floor. She was pushing me to buy 12 mm that she had in stock and saying just sand 2 mm with sand paper. I asked the lock pattern is different, she advised use glue. While selling she stated it will be non refundable. Once I checked with contractor, he advised s12 mm will not fit with existing 10 mm. And sanding 2 mm and glue is not option. Just be aware. Think twice before you buy.

Absolute frauds. Ordered $4000 worth of laminate flooring with a $800 deposit. Called in to cancel the order in a couple of days (two weeks before expected delivery). I was told that there is a 15% cancellation fee, the alternative was to speak to my sales rep, Kumar to make an exception. I have been calling and texting Kumar for the last two months only to be told to call tomorrow. I don’t think that tomorrow is going to come anytime soon. Absolutely unethical and fraudulent way of doing business. Next call is to report them, no goods or services provided for $800.

I came into the store looking for 2 pieces of wood that I needed to replace in my home. As soon as I told the guy working just that, he didn’t want to help us and told us to go into the warehouse. I went into the warehouse where so many people were around and no one asked if I needed help and ignored me. I helped myself around and found what I was looking for but only 1 piece and was looking for the second one. I approached one guy and he told me that there are so many and that I need to look myself. How am I supposed to know where that specific colour of wood is? There are thousands of different coloured wood. Overall, this place was not helpful at all and had TERRIBLE customer service. Planning to change the colour of my hardwood floors soon and I am not coming here ever again.

They have a great selection of wood to choose from at a very good price range. All the sales representatives are very helpful and kind.

DO NOT shop here! I was sold 250sq ft of DAMAGED wood. It was a sale item and when I asked why it was cheap I was told because it was thinner 3/8 wood and they were clearing it out for new product. These are the marks on almost every single piece. I went in today (Nov 27) with pieces to show them and the older lady at the desk said that I should be happy that I got it for cheap. She said all hardwood has marks like that on it? It was marked, scratched, broken, and most pieces had chalk marks scratched right into it. I have no choice but to use it because it was final sale. Also when I bought it they said to come back for the threshold piece if I needed it and it was included up to 8ft. Today they were going to charge me $56 for the threshold and offered a $5 discount. They were incredibly rude, incredibly offensive in the way they spoke to me. They are crooks and have ZERO customer loyalty or service. Do not spend your money here!

Rina was extremely helpful, courteous and professional when she helped me select the right choice of flooring. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I will recommend to all my friends to come here for new floors and different types of design.

BRAMPTON HARDWOOD FLOOR IS THE WORST. PROBABLY THE WORST IN WHOLE CANADA. THEY GAVE ME A DIFFERENT SAMPLE AND WHEN WE GOT THE MATERIAL IT WAS DIFFERENT. NEVER BUY THE MATERIAL FROM BRAMPTON HARDWOOD. NOW IT HAS BEEN WEEK I AM TRYING TO GET MY MONEY BACK BUT THEY ARE NOT GIVING MY MONEY BACK. I THINK I HAVE TO GO TO COURT. THEY ARE ALSO RUDE SPECIALLY THE OWNER.

I ordered 450sqft of select and better maple and they gave me 420sqft of #1 common maple. I'll never shop here again.

I have had a very bad experience with Brampton hardwood I bought a floor from the Bramalea location and it’s Brocken within a month I call and send an email to them they did not reply to me anything about this I want to the store they treat very rudely there was a lady she told me to do whatever you want to do.

Rena the sales women is a scammer she charged me $ 358.75 an additional $150 for bona satin when the north York location charges $239 per pail. When I called and asked why she put me on hold for 30 min trying to tell me the price increased due to covid and the other store should have it the same price. After telling her that she's scamming and cheating people she decided to argue with me telling me I'm wrong. Disgusting display of a sales person. Go to north York location worth the drive so you don't get scammed and cheated

Staff is excellent, Cooperative and understandable enough. Quality of flooring, Hardwood is really above expectations.
All the Employees were helpful. I recommend everyone to visit there for any kind of flooring & Hardwood.

Worst service, bad experience.we came in to get some vinyl flooring as per our contractor's advice. We asked the saleswoman if there were different kinds, she told us they're all the same which is not true. She was so desperate for the commission that she forgot to do her due diligence. Then we randomly picked one out of dozens, paid. We brought home 37 boxes just to know that it's not the right kind. We came back to see her an hr later, asked if we could exchange it for the right kind, omg she really turned into a beast, rude and nasty. Obviously we cursed at her right back in front of other customers, people like her dont deserve respect. We requested to talk to the manager then another salesman step in to resolve the issue, and we did get the exchange at no extra cost. Horrible customer service.

Terrible experience at Brampton Hardwood Flooring. Their employee Vandana misquoted us initially and then kept adding on additional surprise charges which she confirmed before were covered. This company is very unprofessional. And are trying to manipulate and overcharge customers. This caused major delays in my
home renovations. Never come here

Called to ask about stock on a product. Lady who answered seems to be very nice until I was transfer and the woman who answered did anything to get me off the phone. She tried hanging up on me twice when the only questions I had was do you have this in stock and when will it be in if not. At the end of the call she ended up just hanging up on me without giving me a stable answer. Very unfortunate.

Update to the owners response: I was asked to call the store as soon as possible to discuss. I did and was directed to speak with Joe. After speaking with him he said he would discuss with his colleagues and get back to me within a few days. 4 weeks later I have yet to hear from anyone. Solidifies my opinion that potential customers should be aware if this is the customer service you receive.

I am certain this is not a fake review as per the attached invoice. I also find it very interesting that you respond within an hour of a public post but follow up communication from the initial onset has taken months and we are still dealing with the same issue. Please let me know what number to call and who I can speak to on Monday and I will be more than pleased to call.

Very disappointed with this company. They originally installed over 1800sq of luxury vinyl flooring using one of their preffered installation teams. After only 2 weeks of the flooring being layed we noticed several spots lifting. Upon further examination we notice their install team did not level the sub flooring which is crucial when installing vinyl flooring. After repeated back and forth conversations they finally agreed to correct some of the issues. After their second attempt of installation we are faced with even worse results. The baseboards that we had installed and payed in excess of $3500 are now damaged beyond repair. Our flooring is still lifting in multiple locations, and they did not level the floor as promised. I have attached pictures of their "professional completed job". I am writing this review to help prevent any other potential customer from making the same mistake of choosing Brampton Hardwood. You can see from these pictures what over $10,000.00 buys you. As a business owner myself, I can say that I am EXTREMELY disappointed with the level of customer services Brampton Hardwood provides. We have contacted the Better Business Bureau of Canada and will definitely do my best to make sure this company is not recommended.

I agree with comments posted by Paramvir below. Never ever shop at Brampton Hardwood Floors. I purchased and paid upfront approx $5,000 for hardwood including delivery charge of $150. The hardwood that was delivered didn't match the colour I ordered in store. So I told the delivery guy to take it back. To cut a long frustrating saga short, I called almost everyday to get my money back. Apparently only the accountant can issue a refund and the accountant only works limited hours. After few weeks, I went to the store and spoke to owner/Manager VANDANA. She was very rude and said we will do the best to issue refund but it could take TWO WEEKS or TWO MONTHS! I said it's $5000 not $500 and I need to payoff my credit card.she said I don't care, if it's FIVE MILLION! I eventually got the refund less delivery charges. I should have got the delivery charges refunded because it's wasn't my fault that the manufacturer packaged the wrong colour in the boxes. I gave in just to get whatever I could from these RUDE CROOKS!

One of the most rudest staff I have ever spoken to on the phone.wow.can't believe it.even if they give free flooring definitely not going to them.

Is their customer service the best? Probably not. But do they have the best prices around for really good quality Hardwood? Probably.
I went to about 8 different stores from Milton to Mississauga to Brampton, and when I landed here, what everyone else had told me was true. Their prices and their selection blew everyone out of the water. Yes the lady put some pressure on me to put a deposit on the spot (by offering a really good deal!), but in the end I got exactly what I wanted. Put a deposit and after a month or so, I went in, paid the balance and the product was delivered on the next business day. By far outstanding prices, stock availability, etc.
On the negative side, trying to get a hold of someone or get information on the phone is difficult as they seem to be too busy to operate on the phone.
I would definitely go to Brampton Hardwood first for all my future Hardwood needs.
