They purposely don't answer your phone calls, they don't want to help with anything and that's how they get you to pay your fine cause eventually you give up waiting. The red light camera system is a clown system, how does it take a picture of my car when I had 2 52 ft trucks, one in the left and 1 in the middle lane, they blocked the view of the lights completely and I got caught in a red light by a camera, traffic was built up cause Steeles is a disaster. Then don't even send me a court notice but send me letter of notice to pay or be sent to collections and lose my license that has a clean abstract from day one. Absolutely a money grab, corrupt city like many others in the GTA.

Organized system for setting the screening and hearing officers. The staff on-site are extremely kind as well

What an absolute joke. Hamilton resident who drove to Brampton to purchase items off of Facebook marketplace. Parallel parked on the bottom of the guys drive way with the front end sticking out due to the snowbank. Was on the driveway when bylaw enforcement came by and gave me the ticket, didn’t say a word to anyone before disappearing. I was only there for maybe 15 minutes giving the guy cash and loading the items into the truck.

Got half way home and noticed the ticket under the passenger side wiper blade right at the corner. Nearly didn’t even see the ticket in the first place, I guess that’s the point so I find out when I go to renew my vehicle reg? More money in the cities pockets…

Called the city to dispute the ticket as I was not parked but just stopped temporarily to purchase items. Lady set it up for 1030am on a Monday before telling me it is in person only. Well I am not driving an hour each way to fight a parking ticket I shouldn’t have gotten. So I am forced to pay this ticket.

Read through the other reviews of this courthouse and it seems I would have wasted my time and money attempting to dispute it as the judge doesn’t even listen to anyone’s side and automatically makes you pay anyway.

Seems to me this is all a money grab and just another reason to not visit Brampton again…

I got in at like 4: 25pm on a Friday. The Guyanese lady and the lady with an injured leg on a crutch. Were very helpful (sorry I didn’t get your names)
Very kind and understanding. Surprised to read some of these reviews. I guess it just comes down to how to approach and speak to a person.

It's sad because we're treated as numbers and not humans. People can barely afford to live, and you give fines to people for little things, even if it's not their fault.
Everyone has bills to pay, people to take care of, etc.

Hi my experience with the lady name Angela over the phone was superb she is so supportive and nice wish me luck for my speeding ticket which i dont have enough expectations but still hoping for the best

They do what they are supposed to do. Reduce fine without even asking you to, give you time to pay if you are not able to pay immediately, not sure why the ratings are so low. Parking is always available, hours are as mentioned on the web. All the traffic related offences and fines are dealt over the phone and in person.
No reason to berate this place.

If I could put 0 stars I would. Some of the most unhelpful rude clerks on the planet. Absolutely disgusting. The clerk was unprofessional unhelpful and when confronted awful service she had the nerve to get combative on the call. Get new staff who are trained to handle scenarios that actually require them to do work. As of now she put me on hold to come back with no resolution or help. Do better Brampton. Seriously. Thanks to this agent I’m no closer to a resolution. Had to escalate the matter after she refused to provide her manager’s contact information. DO BETTER!

Understaffed and Unhelpful.there's only 3 / 4 people working each day and wait times are very long.also need to do your own research if you have any question /issues. The staff will give you bare minimum answers so If you were supposed to do something extra or special, don't depend on them to let you know. Or you'll face major consequences later on.

Unprofessional staff, she hung up on me without any reason. Worse customer service experience ever.

It’s no surprise that this place has an overall review of a 1 star. Horrible online service and getting on a call to get a hold of someone takes over an hour, just to have them say “hello” and hang up. Sent many emails to see if my claim would get attended to or if it had been received the attention it deserves but still no response whatsoever and expect us to figure what to do when nothing is clear. The courthouse and system really needs a change, it’s ridiculous.
