Brant Animal Clinic

We are very disappointed with this clinic. We had been paying the monthly fee for three years and there was always an issue to get any service. Over the last year we called in three opportunities and they’re couldn’t see our pet. We ended up going to another clinic as an emergency. Unfortunately the customer service is quite deficient and we felt treated poorly. Recently we call to take our pet again and we were told that we were not even in their system anymore however the money came out of the bank account. Very frustrating and disappointing for the community.

Dr. Ann and the care team at Brant Animal Clinic are always so friendly and welcoming. Spencer feels very relaxed, he’s made to feel like a prince and all of his care needs are taken care of efficiently. Dr. Ann offers a variety of treatment solutions so you can select the care plan you feel most comfortable with at affordable pricing. Dr. Ann also interacts with other specialists to keep Spencer’s file up to date on all treatment services. We love that we live close by so we can walk over to the office for our appointment which is always on time. Thank you Dr. Ann and the Brant Animal Clinic care team!

We had such a great experience. All the staff were kind and accommodating. They took care of our sweet boy Joey, and made him so comfortable. This is defintely the clinic I would recommend.

Went in with concerns about my mum's cat Kuro having lost weight rapidly and noticing lumps on her belly (yes, it is sadly the worst case scenario). They were quick to schedule follow ups, bloodwork/x-rays, and very understanding of my barrage of questions via e-mail.

Their deal where your first exam as a new customer is only $1 is greatly appreciated as well.

Took my puppy for her first check-up and 2nd round of vaccinations. All staff, from the receptionists, assistants and Dr Anne, were so friendly to us and amazing with Loki. I highly recommend Brant Animal Clinic.

I took my cat to the clinic because she was drooling, even though she was still active and had an appetite. Sadly, my experience there wasn't great. I felt like the clinic didn't have much integrity. The staff was friendly, but I didn't think they were looking out for my cat's best interests. The vet wanted to do expensive diagnostic tests that would've cost me $1300, and they couldn't do a full physical exam because my cat was aggressive. I had to convince the receptionist to book another physical exam instead of the full diagnostics, which I felt was excessive. It seemed like they were trying to make me spend a lot of money. To make matters worse, my cat's symptoms went away on their own after just one day! If I had agreed to the diagnostics, I would've wasted almost a whole month's rent. I was left feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. The clinic also prescribed me with Fortiflora and an anti-vomiting shot, which I thought were unnecessary and did not help her condition. I wish they had given me more advice on how to monitor my cat's symptoms or been more honest with me before suggesting the expensive tests. It made me wonder if they cared more about making money than helping my cat. Transparency and ethical service are important to me, but I didn't feel like I got that at this clinic. I hope this review is taken to heart. I'm sharing my honest frustration and disappointment, and I don't want to do any business a disservice.

Great place. It's Brant Animal Clinic however it mostly caters to just dogs and cats, but if you come in riding a moose, I'm sure they won't turn you away.

Dr. Anne is such a kind and patient vet. She answered all my questions. The whole team is equally as helpful. Michelle, the RVT, took the time to email us a bunch of helpful information about how to safely switch our dog's good, plus vet approved chew toys. She took the time to give portion recommendations based on our dog's size too. We also can't say enough great things about the front desk. They always respond to our emails quickly. I had to reschedule our appt because we were a little under the weather at home and they didn't penalize us and appreciated the head's up to keep everyone healthy. We have been going here since we moved to Burlington in September 2021 and will never go anywhere else!

The whole team is extremely friendly and helpful, and the service they provide is just outstanding.

Apparantly, lining their pockets is Brant Animal Clinic's only priority!

SHOP AROUND! They are by far the most expensive vet in the Burlington area. Each time I deal with them I feel nothing short of being price-gouged.

I am very impressed with the friendly staff and Dr. Anne in taking care of my new puppy Sasha and my older dog Darla needs! They really do care about my dogs and you don’t feel pressured in making an immediate decision everything is explained and printed out so you have an understanding on what is needed to be done! You don’t always get a good feeling if things aren’t explained throughly but I have received this from Brant Animal Clinic!

I was attending the Maples pet hospital and wasn’t very happy with several details. Went to Brant today and wow, this is what I expected of a Vet Clinic. They allowed us to come in as the maples doesn’t allow that and you can email, something else the maples doesn’t allow. I was well educated, felt informed and listened to and what a great monthly package they have. Thank you to the team at Brant, Connie and Pippi!

My dog Molly had some gastrointestinal issues. Dr Anne and staff at Brant Animal Clinic were very helpful. They listened to my concerns and were very attentive to Molly. The problem was solved. All is well now. Thank you!

First off, we made them aware of our dogs behaviour during the time of booking (to make sure they would be able to handle her - as her previous owners abused her she has some behavioural issues which we are working with a professional on).
Secondly, we brought our dog to get checked as she has a clear injury. We were told it was not an injury and likely a cyst. To wait and see if it gets worse or better. I knew it couldn’t have been a cyst so with that I got a second opinion. That being said, it is much worse then a cyst, and infact an injury which I had first thought! BUT instead of the vet saying we could do an X-ray right up front, she persisted that we wait.
And finally, the “hospital lead” as she calls herself, is very rude. She talks down to you. Doesn’t let you finish saying what you’re trying to say. Calls you names. Threatens you. She is very unprofessional.

We keep being told one thing from other reception clerks, and then get told another thing by the “lead”. So maybe, you should be a little clearer to your staff. If they don’t know the answer, or cannot answer it correctly, they shouldn’t answer it! Simple.

I was looking for a new vet for my Chihuahua and I'm so glad I found Brant Animal Clinic! Everyone who works here is very kind and they do a great job of making your pet feel loved and comfortable while they're there. They're also very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions - and I had a lot! They truly do care about their patients - after a procedure they provide you with detailed take-home instructions which even include a breakdown of any bloodwork that was done (something I've never received before), and will follow-up with you the next day to ensure the recovery is going well. They also offer membership plans which has helped me save money already. The clinic itself is modern and very clean, and they're 'with the times' - providing text appointment reminders, emailed receipts with paw point balances, etc. I highly recommend Dr. Anne and her team!

Different animal clinic provide us with the best care for our cat Mr Singh who sadly will be passing soon but they made the end of his life comfortable and that's the best that we could have wished for.

Dr. Anne was so gentle with our dog. She was also very patient and helpful to me and answered all my questions.

Very clean office and super friendly staff. It was easy to get an appointment and I was given many options for my pets recovery. The vet and technicians were very gentle with my cat. Pricing is definitely fair compared to other vets. They actually have an awesome first time client deal which I thought was amazing.

Brant Animal Clinic is everything you want from a “family vet”. I take two dogs there and I feel they’ve gotten great care at fair prices.the staff are extremely friendly and timely which makes having to take your pets there less of a hassle compared to some places I’ve been. The vet is also very good at taking the time to speak with us about how to proceed with medical issues, explaining options and isn’t just rushing to the end goal of pushing you to the cash register which is appreciated. Would recommend to anyone I know with pets whose looking to find a regular vet.

This clinic is new to me however they were very professional and caring. After my visit, they were kind enough to follow up to see how my pets were doing.

I have been bringing my dog here since he was 11 weeks old, he is now 3 years old. I have always been very happy with the care provided to him, by Dr Ann and her team. I have before and will continue to recommend this vetinary hospital.

My Luna got sick and didn’t eat anything, but she kept vomiting all the time when I moved out. I went to the nearest Vet clinic, but the vet didn’t know the reason and told me to go to emergency. I decided to go Brant animal clinic where I used to go near my parent place before I moved out. Dr. Anne knew right away based on Luna’s history, and got me the pheromone kit with some medicine. Luna recovered right away, and I decided to take my second cat Lucas in this clinic. Even though, Burlington is far from where I live now, I always come to consult anything regarding my cats. You should go to the vet clinic where you can trust. It’s not about the distance or money, but it’s about how well the vet knows about my cats especially when they are sick!

Love that there is a pet wellness plan, the yearly dose more than covers vaccinations, and includes any visits I'd need and also nail trims. Fantastic idea!

Great staff, kind compassionate vet, I take both animals there. Good payment plans and good yearly plan, prices are reasonable and no pressure.

We have been going to Brant Animal Clinic since we moved to Burlington in 2017. We have a large breed dog who is very very protective and does not do well with strangers - especially people in her space. They respect my dogs needs and work with me to ensure she has a nice visit. Very Very friendly vet!

My experience with Brant Animal clinic has been since June 2020. Not the easiest to find a vet during COVID and yet when I called, the people there were welcoming and made the whole experience pleasant for both myself and my 7 year old Maltese / shihtzu who we had just acquired. In that time, we have had a check up, thorough exam and also a dental check up. The dental exam was under anesthetic and resulted in 3 teeth having to be extracted. Throughout this whole process, Everyone was so kind, professional and kept us informed every step of the way. I never felt “ pushed” to buy any services or product. I honestly felt that they cared about Tilley and myself, making sure we were comfortable with the COVID protocols that had to be followed. I would highly recommend Dr Anne and the team at Brant Animal clinic!

My parents have been taking their dog there and highly recommend them to me when I got my rescue dog this past Saturday. I was worried about letting him go in alone due to covid protocols (in case he was afraid I abandoned him) but they were so reassuring and came out to greet him with treats and love to put him at ease.when talking to Dr. Anne via phone for our consultation, she explained things thoroughly and answered all of my questions! They have an incredible membership program to make things more affordable.all of the staff was so lovely and my sweet Eddie came out looking happy and confident. I'm really happy we've started our journey with them and I know my pup will be in great hands!:)

First of all i went there because of the reviews, by people saying they are not trying to sell and they care about the dogs or cats. Probably all this reviews is from family members, because they only try to sell and never care about the dogs or cats. First time i went there with my puppy husky for vaccine and check and what i saw was that, trying to sell me products or plans and not a word about my puppy. Second time the same, third time the same, forth time the same. They dont care and don't give a damn about our puppies, they care only about how to rip you of. Shame of them, non professional and worst animal clinic.

Took my cat in for a second opinion. She was throwing up and not herself. The vet had the same diagnosis like the previous one. I was presented with my options, and asked about her previous vet trip. The vet agreed with previous vet about her having some sort of digestive issue. She offered be multiple ways of treating her, never did i feel pressured for expensive procedures instead she said lets give her some new meds with the ones your other vet put you on and see what happens. What I really liked is my other vet only provided anti acid meds and they were NOT doing the trick at all. Hence the second opinion. The vet at Brant provided us with another medication that not only help with her stomach digestion but also was a bit of a pain med and helped encourage her to eat. This is what we needed. She took half a pill and the next morning she ate a little, played and although not her regular self she was progressing well. We are on day 3 of meds and she is almost back to herself. Thank you so much as this medication that was not previously offered was the reason she is doing so much better. I highly suggest you bring your babies here, it is obvious they care and are not just there to steal your money lol.this was the cheapest option as next steps would be xray and ultra sounds. The vet herself said she would hold off until Monday Tuesday unless she declines. Thank you!

Dr. Anne and the team are fantastic! Compassionate, friendly and explain treatments in a easy to understand fashion. Will be taking my furry family here for many years to come.
