Brant County SPCA

Almost all of the lady’s are very nice but however one of them ruined my experience with them completely, she called me up being extremely rude to me acting like I was incompetent. She was acting like I was a monster because I chose not to put my cat down and he is actually doing very well now despite what happened to him. And apparently I was supposed to take him there instead of my local vet clinic when we wouldn’t have made it all the way to Brantford I was focusing on trying to save a life if that makes me a monster and I didn’t have time to sit there on the phone with someone that was just going to be so rude while I was already very upset at the time. And by the sounds of it they wouldn’t have given me the choice to put my cat down or not. She even tried to raise her voice at me over the phone!
I am very disappointed and it honestly saddens me that you have people with that sort of attitude working with animals.

Lovely people who deeply care about their animals even down to the little Guinea pigs, rats () and bunnies

Found two kittens starving and fading away, nursed them back to health and called Brant SPCA to be told that’s not there jurisdiction and I should call animal control. Not sure the point on this organization if they don’t help animals in need.

After our beloved dog had to be put down earlier today we dropped off some food, treats and balls we had left from our pet. The intake staff member that sorted our dogs things said to us that the loss of our dog allowed other dogs to live. To the wonderful staff member who said this…you made a huge difference in our healing and we thank you from the of our hearts for this perspective. To anyone that has the heart wrenching experience of losing a let…. Please give any remaining food or pet treats to the Brantford SPCA. It makes such a difference to these pets.

Staff is great and the animals look well taken care of. Clean environment. Very helpful staff, Emma was super helpful when we picked up our new family member.

Nice place, not wheelchair accessible. Doorways barely fit a below standard chair, and the entry has a large lip with no ramp. I was informed their was another door with "a smaller lip", but was behind a locked gate that couldn't be accessed.

If you need to get your pet fixed they are an option, as well as per adoptions, call them if you take in an animal you find.
There are lovely employees.

This is an amazing humane society! I got my cat from here and is now in her furever home… thank you for all you do, without you I wouldn’t have met this adorable feline! Nice and friendly staff as well, overall 10/10 experience here.

I called the SPCA this morning and spoke to a lady regarding a puppy (Baylee). We emailed yesterday with the adoption filled out. When I was speaking to her today she wasn’t really pleasant. I asked her if I could see the little puppy and she said there were a few inquiries regarding the specific puppy. I’m not sure what the process is for adopting but I found it odd that we weren’t considered. We went to see the dogs on Saturday but the SPCA was closed due to shortage of staff. Very disappointing experience!

Adopted our beautiful kitten Squeaks in January. They are fantastic there. It had been a while since we had a fur baby and I had some concerns and questions later and they were great. He was fostered well, good manners and litter trained. But most of all he makes us happy, he's a happy playful kitten

Awful shelter. ED has been in her position for YEARS yet has done nothing to get moving on their new location. Sure it takes time and money but it's ridiculous. Animals left alone from 6pm on with no night shift. Cruelty at its finest.

What great staff! This is a "No Kill" facility! They could really benefit from a new building. Casino money could go here!

Super friendly staff with people and animals. Help my brother take a dog he couldn’t look after anymore. Super sad but he did it for the best of the dog. The ladies their were super helpful. Desiel is a loving pup. Hope he finds a good family and a good home.q

Friendly, helpful staff. Feel free to drop off a donation of critter food. Etc. Animals in their care seem comfortable. Recommended. Adopt. Don't shop.

A great group of people doing a amazing job. I hope they get more donations to help them continue their wonderful work.

I love this place they are currently overvrowded and at capacity they're still so friendly are knowledgeable about pet care and helped me a ton to foster a kitten in need recently and they're always super helpful they do so much for animals in our community love it here
