The best place for those who love reading in a calm and peaceful environment. It has array of books of different genres, CDs, DVDs and not to forget: the staff is cooperative, patient and amicable by attitude. Everything is well organised and systematic and one will definitely find someone ready to assist if one needs any sort of help. I am happy to be its member.

Since moving to Brantford a few years ago I've come to this branch most often. Unfortunately it's location in the downtown core means there are times when the homeless come inside and have their "issues" and you feel you need to leave because you don't feel safe. They've only recently added more seats in the downstairs study are for people to use the tables. The Brantford Library could also use a better online system for their catalogue. It's not very user friendly when attempting to look up specific types of media. If you want to see if they carry a certain movie you have to look through every type of media (book, audio, etc) with a similar name. There's no search areas just for movies. They also don't separate TV series DVDs from movie DVDs like other municipalities I've lived in previously. If you're in the mood for a new British drama series to try you have to keep an eye out for them mixed in with the movies. It would be less time consuming if they had movies and TV series separately shelved. It's not that hard to do, Cambridge does it that way.

One of better libraries I have visited. They are doing a great job with every aspect of it.

Very polite staff. Had to print a resume here a month ago & the staff helped me figure it out since it was my first time. Printing is like 10 cents per page. Huge selection of books. Great place to relax out of the heat in summer too. Opened an entire box of digimon packs with a friend at a table a few months back. Overall just a nice community space.

Location is covienent as its downtown.
The employees are friendly and knowledgeable.
There are groups held here for kids as well as different events throughout the year.
They have a wide selection of materials to choose from, and if they don't carry a certain book or movie etc that you are interested in, you can check if they carry it at the library located near the North End and request for it to be sent down to this location for you.
Overall a great place to rent reading materials, movies, games, as well as a place to use a PC, printer, etc.

The Brantford Public Library offers a very good staffing service. I love the infrastructure of the library which provides a very good environment to study.

I like the library minus all the lgbt stuff they push. My kids still pick their nose and likely eat it. Think it’s a little odd we are pushing this agenda on children

Was just running in to set up an online account for e-books. Staff was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Was a quick and easy experience.
