Brar's Grand Buffet

Go for buffet not for dinner because they take from buffet and serve you for dinner. However food was good, but service for dinner was slow. Rest you can try it out but I suggest buffet.

Brar’s is a heaven for vegetarian Indian food. Service is quick.
There was long waiting being a Saturday night.
Service was quick and staff is very friendly.

We first ordered Malai Kofta for take away. They have accepted order, taken payment but later told that it's not available. They offered alternatively Shahi Paneer.
I don't know what it was? It was no where close to. Shahi Paneer.

Food of other outlet of Brar we had last year was much better

If i would have been to give zero rating. I would have given it. Probably one of the worst restaurants in Brampton. Overpriced with zero taste.

Management needs to take a time out and train their staff a la carte orders.

Great place eat with family, friends and relatives. Good sitting capacity, clean, well organized stations for delicious food, great quality, great service and good co-operation from all staff.

I'm changing the rating based on recent experience over the weekend. Since COVID started the demand for takeout has gone up and Brar's not able to maintain the quality of food, or quality of cooking. Ingredients are same high quality. What I mean is.pakoras are almost raw, Biryani spoiled within 4 hours, staff are stressed and became very unfriendly.wait time is 40 minutes or more. After 20 years of going there and spending literally thousands of dollars I'm done with Brar's. This is not because of 1 experience but over last 6 months we were there several times and every time it was disappointing. Finally figured out that our loyalty means little or nothing as they are just doing business. Another disappointed customer for Brar's.

I had bad experience really food was ok but customer service is really bad because I got my all food items in breaks even they didn’t provide me all my items they didn’t tell me even how it takes long I waited for 15 to 20 mints while eating for other item so I totally wasted my money and time both even I went their from Kitchener and I totally disappointed

The veg thali was delicious but I would not recommend trying maalpua at all.
The staff is very respectful but your order may arrive a bit delayed during peak hours.

I ordered chana bathura and rasmalai by uber eats. Chana masala is bitter, stale and stinks alot. It happen with me second time. Doest not expect this from a reputated chain of Brar's To serve stale food to customers

Tired there Puri-Channa and stuffed Roti. It’s was horrible. Not crispy, very oily, not well cooked at all. We were 8 people in the restaurant, very poor and slow service.
5 stars for presentation, 0 stars for taste.

Sweets and desserts section is good, that deserves 5 stars for sure.

New Review - I took a chance to visit this location again after the last experience a couple years ago. See my old review below. My suggestion - DO NOT go here. The place just seems to have lost its soul. Right from the lack of interest in serving their customers waiting in lineup to zero instructions on how to order takeout food and sweets when you arrive at this location. It sucks waiting in multiple queues and be bounced around. I cut my losses and moved on to another store Bikaner Sweets Factory nearby. Amazing sweets there please visit them instead!

Old review - If you are lucky you will be able to get good tasting Indian snacks and sweets. On this visit for Diwali I left home with bad batch of rasgulla. Overall I was 50$ poorer with sweets I couldn't possibly offer to my friends and family.

Amazing Diwali sweets. Yummy as always and well appreciated by all friends and family. Freshly prepared milk cake counter was a plus. It's always as we want more of it. This time even Punjabi Lehran was there Live.

I used to visit this place with my friends very often when they had buffet system, and used to cater their food from Brampton to Scarborough that's how much I loved their food as the food was soo good in the past. But now recently I visited this place on October 10,2021 and the food quality is the worse. The staff is really rude and have no customer service skills, got charged for the things I dint even order and when I questioned it, the lady dint even apologized and just went away and got me a new bill. The owner needs to change the whole staff including chef, managers and the other staff working there Or at least teach them the skills they need for their job. This used to be my favorite place to eat but now I wont even recommend it to someone I hate.

Food is alright, but service is the absolute worst, and it has been declining steadily the last few years. Try buying anything from their sweet shop, they will move you from one queue to another endlessly until you give up and go home. What's the point of multiple queues if you don't know how to manage them? The kicker is when you finally reach the counter and the person says, "nooooo you have line up in the other queue". Put up a sign maybe?

Have always loved Brar, I love their food but their customer service is negative. They never answer calls, after so many tries, one lady picks up and than puts me on hold stating that she is with a customer. After waiting for almost 20 mins, I had to hang up.
Guys please if you are that busy, hire some more employees.

I would leave zero stars if I could. I ordered thali and they served stale veg pulav with it. It was stinking when I opened the take out box. Had to throw the whole thing.

Such a worst experience with Mississauga location.ordered Chilli paneer, hakka noodels (paneer), chana bhatura
chilli panner was previously cooked and heated before server, paneer was too hard.it was like a semi gravy not as a appetizer.
Hakka Noodles tasted badly as it was cooked and stored for long time.channa was mixed with Dhaal Makkani.only Service is good.

Ordered pani puri and waited over half an hour. How hard it is serve pani puri. Bad service service has gone down. BRARs not the same better for takeout. Dine in was a waste of my time.

Snacks was awesome, main course was ok, and I feel 13$ for the takeaway meal was not worth it, quantity was too less and curries were not that great. It was not that I had a belly full snack before I tasted, I tasted while I was hungry.

Few important updates: use of oil and how often you gonna change reflects in the taste and taste is what Brar was famous for so don't ruin the well deserved reputation
Secondly, one quick example of sweets: Chaina Murgi; atleast one of your quality controller must check the taste, horrible and can't beleive that chef does not know what he is doing. Guys.pleaee check the taste and quality

Full marks for take out packaging. Haven’t found this sort of packaging anywhere. We ordered saag-makki roti and amritsari kulcha. Taste was good of both the orders. Better to order online if you don’t want to wait else wait time is around 20 minutes.

Good menu selection, food tastes good, and reasonably priced. We did a large take out order and the staff provided great service. Will definitely come back.

It was my first time when i order from your restaurant i hear so much about your restaurant then i wanna try and I ordered channa samosa, manchurian and milk cake. Milk cake was so delicious that’s why i gave one star. And manchurian was so salty and worst thing was channa samosa a piece of nail came out from my mouth when i ate it. Never gonnna try from new restaurants.

Ordered Gobi parantha and mooli parantha.worst order ever from Brars. Usually their food is good but this time it was very poor. Cant even tell this different in the 2 paranthas. Both tasted exactly same coz there was no sign of Gobi or mooli and was filled with ajwain only.please redo ur receipes for paranthas. Very disappointed

I had heard a lot about Brar and was excited to try it, but it was very disappointing.
I got the following:
Malai Kofta - Good taste. But 2 koftas for $12 is way too pricey. I expect 4 for that price.
Kadhi Pakora - It's alright, nothing special.
Jeera Aloo - Boiled potatoes with minimal flavouring and some coloring.

Got some Motichur Ladoo and Chumchum as well. Both were very average. I've had better sweets from other places in Mississauga before.

Their sweet pricing is very weird. They charge by weight but also for the box ($1.50 or more).

0.3lb of Ladoo ($10/lb) + 0.7lb of Chumchum ($8/lb) = 1lb * $9/lb * $1.50 = $13.50

Overall I wouldn't recommend Brar. It seems like because of their popularity their quality may have gone down and prices up. Many better options in GTA.

Amazing service and a large variety of options for vegetarians and vegans! Prabhjot was my server and she was super accommodating, loved celebrating my birthday here. Definitely worth a visit

Food was really good, the staff were really pleasant, especially Amandeep who was serving us. The smiling face and courteous behaviour will surely bring us back

We wanted to have Indian Chats today and got suggestions from our friends to try out this place in Brampton. We did not go for the buffet but went for the ala carte menu for the chats and sweets. No reservations or long wait for ala carte. We tried the samosa, dal kachori, Pani Puri, BHEL Puri and chole bature. The flavors were really good for all the items we tried. Fresh flavors with the perfect balance of spice. Definitely try their samosas. We also tried the Gulab Jamun with kulfi ice cream and rasmalai for dessert and both were good. The kulfi was the only thing we did not like and it wasn't giving the expected fresh flavors. Would definitely recommend this place for street food, chats, snacks etc.

Complete rip off this restaurant is. They are charging long weekend price $28 for the entire month of December and the excuse is Christmas holidays. Thieves, Christmas holidays starts from December 25. And do mention on your website when you guys plan to pickpocket customers.

The buffet at this place is it if you are looking for Indian and vegetarian. Specifically Punjabi/north Indian with few South Indian options like dosa and vada. I have never really counted but there must be at least 100 items. This is not your typical Indian buffet as well.dessert includes fresh fruit assortment, a chocolate fountain, 6-8 varieties of Indian sweets and half a dozen ice cream flavors. Can't go wrong with this choice!

On Boxing Day 2018, nostalgia took me to Brar. It wasn’t the same. The service was good, staff attentive but what matters most in any restaurant, the food, wasn’t up to par. Variety was there but taste was missing.

Gave it an another try. Yep quality is still low and proper customer service from managers is missing. It not the same anymore. Seems like Brar is buying reviews.

Four of us had lunch on Thursday Dec. 13,2018 and had a wonderful experience. Good food and excellent service by our server Amandeep and we were very happy. All the items well done and we give five stars to them. Thanks to Amandeep for good and kind services.

I have been here couple of times. Ambience is good, special shout out to navneet dhesi. Her customer service skills are awesome. Even at the busy times she is polite and patient.
Sweets are one of the best in GTA but Food quality is below average.

Food was not warm to the satisfactory level, ice cream conatiners were empty and not refilled, should offer more juice choices to kids kids complimentary drink. PLEASE learn to warm up your food, It was my dauthers birthday and she was excited to go, but the not so hot/warm food was very disappointing, for us all. But shivani did a good job serving. But after putting all the negatives aside if the food was properly warmed up it would have tasted DELICIOUS.

Great sweets and snacks! The buffet looked delicious but we were there only for a quick bite. The paneer pakora in particular was phenomenal. The service and staff were very nice and accommodating

Tried them first time last weekend on Saturday. Buffet was overpriced and the waiting was long. We ate from the menu. Did not serve water, had to ask for it. 2 out of 4 items arrived cold.
Cherry on the top - only Indian restaurant that charges for container if you buy sweets. Price is just under $2 for container. Expect to pay for dishes for food in the future as well and bring containers from home. Never going back and will not recommend to anyone.

All vegetarian and many vegan options! Great value for money (all you can eat). We came for lunch. Tasty and lots of options. Food was fresh. Nice decor and environment! Would recommend.

I visited the restaurant this Friday. It was one of my best experience dinning in an indian restaurant. Amazing service! My daughter was allergic to couple of things but meenu helped us alot she even served us food on the table regardless of buffet! She was a great help made us familiar with all the amazing indian food they had in their grand buffet even though The place was extremely busy
