This place is amazing. I discovered by accident and now I drive here from Waterloo when I want some Portuguese bbq, because nothing else measures up. Delicious. Great people working there too. No waiting around. This couldn't be better.

The best BBQ Portuguese chicken in Mississauga. I have been going here for ages and can't get bored of the food. The food quality and service is amazing. The chicken is charred to perfection and is succulent. You can't forget the hot sauce which has the perfect level of heat and flavour. Their coleslaw is on point because it is balanced which consists the perfect amount of creaminess, sweetness and tanginess.

They get extremely busy and I can understand why. By far my favourite Portuguese-style BBQ chicken. It had great flavour and big portions. The meat was tender and juicy and their sauce is a must! The potatoes were packed with flavourful herbs and a hint of lemon. Even though there was a long line, their service was really fast. They had lots of servers tending to you and they were all very friendly. Highly recommend if you’re ever in the area!

This popular restaurant has been around for a long while now. And the stars aligned and I dropped in to try their food after all these years.

I ordered the half cuisine with rice and potatoes. I grabbed a whole chicken + 3 fish fillets as well. I even grabbed some custard tarts. When in Rome right?

The bbq and grill flavour were amazing. The chicken was fresh and delicious. The sides were done with care.

Everything tasted great. It is no wonder they have wonderful reviews after all these long years since their opening.

The service was helpful and friendly.

This is our favourite Portuguese chicken place! We've tried all the rotisserie chicken joints, but none compare to Brasas! Our fave is family pack #1 and drench the chicken with extra hot sauce. It's the best!

We take out from here a lot. It’s a good place with great hot sauce. The fries are amazing and the staff are nice. The chicken is great too. It’s a little on the high side of pricing for Portuguese chicken relative to other places around but it’s worth it in the quality of the food.

Outstanding! Their chicken is obviously the best but their service and care is out of this world. My daughter is celiac. She was diagnosed two years ago which needless to say changed the way we eat and truly limited our take out options. I reached out to Brasas as they were a regular take out options for our family before diagnosis and I am happy to say they were able to accomodate. I come in and place my order and they truly go above and beyond to ensure my meal is not only delicious as always but safe for my daughter. We have eaten from here multiple times since her diagnosis and she never gets sick. Celiac or not you have to try this place out!

This place absolutely lives up to the hype. Me and my friends call the potatoes little 'potato-timbits' and they taste divine.

I did read prior complaints about the chicken being dry, and it is a bit dry but that's Portuguese chicken for ya and I personally was a huge fan, even more so with the sauce.

There was thought put into every single ingredient/detail, even the rice paired well with the overall taste and presentation, despite being take-out.

Can't miss this spot.

Long line as usual and it's New Year's Eve. It didn't take long though to be served. Chicken is amazing! Very delicious, well cooked and juicy. Their sauce is still the best in town. Potatoes are well seasoned but I do like dipping it in their sauce.
I do hope you'll start having delivery service this 2022 too.

This was my favorite place when I used to live in Mississauga. I was one of their first customers and saw the business explode. Now I live in BC and every now and then, I dream about your chicken and the amazing baby potatoes. But the star was always your INCREDIBLE hot sauce which I would totally buy jars of endlessly if you sold online. Please sell them online PLEASE. I'll pay anything in shipping costs please please please!

Hidden gem, my go to! Absolutely delicious. The place is amazing a few weeks back I overheard management say to a new staff "I'd rather you give them too much then too little. " That's when you know the place is good and all about their customers.

Honestly just stay away. Definitely NOT Portuguese food, and very overpriced. Go to farol or marios if you want actual Portuguese food for half the price and way better portions. I have never felt so ripped off in my life. Portions are small and overpriced. No idea how people even go there. Staff has no idea what there doing and cannot answer simple questions about their price, like actually. Very unprofessional. Definitely will be my first and very last time there.

The real ones know that Brasas makes the best chicken. The chicken is perfectly cooked over an open flame. That spicy sauce is *chef kiss*. Bless yourself with a meal from here. Give your self time though, this place is always busy. Rightfully so when you hold it down the way they do.

Ordered a whole chicken for dinner from this place and it's taste so dry as though it's really really really over cooked.

Amazing food! I placed an order online for pickup. Service was on-time and the price was great! A family meal (1 whole chicken, salad, fries and rice for just over $30!) Amazing!

Very poor organization of when they are serving the food. They need to prioritize take-out orders for when people actually walk in. Whata joke and the taste varies per visit which is also disappointing.

The food is delicious but the owner is extremely rude and condescending. I’m a loyal customer. I live 1.5hrs away but when I’m in the area I always stop in for some takeout.

On my last visit they overcharged me. I only realized this when I got home. No big deal. I call them to let them know and they say no problem, we will make a note and take it off your next order.

I go in today and the owner chastises me for not having my receipt. Who keeps a chicken receipt? That’s why I called them right when I got home so they could verify their mistake and document it.

If you make a mistake, own up to it, apologize and move on. So disappointed by the owner’s rudeness.

Yes chicken is good but the attitude of the lady behind the counter and on the phone I cannot take. I used to live in this area and loved their chicken but we move to Guelph on 2019. I got married on 2020 and ordered a party tray of chicken bbq for my backyard wedding, I asked my best friend a favor to pick it up for me. Yes she is late as she is big belly pregnant and coming from Guelph just to pick it up. The lady said "We're about to throw it in the garbage". She should appreciate us from Guelph to travel that far just for their chicken. Geezz. Will never go back. Customer service is a must!

The food is amazing but the staff is lost. Instead of having a game of broken telephone that results in miscommunication and cryptic notes left on the backs of styrofoam containers perhaps have someone walk down the line like a subway employee instead of just handing it off to a bunch of kids who don't know what's going on or who's meal is who's.

It was horrible they weren’t focusing on preparing the food more talking. Another thing is the food was cold and drenched with sauce never again. I recommend not to waste a dollar

Just discovered this place, their Chicken sauce is amazing. I bought jars of their mild and spicy chicken sauce and made pasta sauce out of them, also sautéed some shrimp and they came out insanely good.

Wow not sure what system this restaurants uses but its pathetic as people who take the time to walk in get trumped by take out orders? I am guessing this place was not open during covid as there is a much better system to use! I also read a previous comment about macdonalds for faster service, well that explains the staff here may have been rejects from their especially management if they could write a response like that!

It's my favorite in Mississauga.expect quite the line up. Don't bother trying to call ahead, lol. I've ordered for my kids' parties a number of times. I found on the occasion that when I order for larger parties, the chicken is dry, potentially because they pack it ahead of time (which can't really be avoided?) but when you do a walk-in, it's right off the grill and still quite moist.

Very poor customer service and not sure who is actually writing responses back listed as the owner, as very unprofessional for any poor ratings. Not too mention the restaurant needs to be thoroughly cleaned and staff should enforce Covid guidelines. Also would you not think the staff wear some kind of gloves when serving, cutting the food? This will definitely need to be looked into by CFIA.

We were here today I just saw one of the guys used his feet to close the chicken drawer where they keep their chickens warm. And the boy who took our order, started to put a lot of coleslaw in a container it spilled and he cleaned our container with the napkin he just cleaned the counter with! So dirty and not acceptable in COVID pandemic! I will never come back here!

I ordered Family Pack#1 with full chicken, salad, rice and fries, The chicken so greasy/oily and also chicken is not barbecued, I have to throw everything. I liked only one in this is rice and fries.

Julio and staff run a great establishment. If I could give 6 stars I would. Chicken cooked perfectly, sauce is so flavourful. Huge portions

One of the only places that I know that is consistent with the quality of their food. The half chicken dinner, with rice and potatoes has yet to dissapoint.

Portuguese restaurant. You can order ahead of time. Take out. Chicken, beef, vegetables, rice, fish, pork, very friendly environment.

This place has AMAZING food and their chicken is top notch. Only down side is the back wall for their grill and the grill it self are sooooo dirty and unpleasant to look at while trying to order food and non of the stuff are wearing hair nets or even hats which they have to.
