This park is a great little spot for a quick walk in the woods. The playground is a favorite for the small kids in my family and I love that the simple splash pad is not too crowded and usually small kids who can play easily together.
What a great baseball diamond, lots of seating and lots of room for the teams to practice before their game. Tall mature trees give shade from the hot sun when needed. Path ways are well maintained and lots of parking.
Great park with a sizeable trail system. Good for running, walking, and also mountain biking. There are a few steeper hills that present a decent challenge for mountain biking, but this would be more appropriate for an introduction to the sport.
Other amenities include a good splash pad, playground, and picnic tables.
Great little park to splash around at or play on the equipment. Lots of shady or sunny spots to enjoy for either performance. Adults are doing well with social distancing and most children too (I know that can be hard for them when try to play with new friends) all and all it was a great time!
Recent landscape renovations are complete with new pathways, benches, bleachers and dug-outs for ball players at diamonds 1 & 2. More fan friendly and easy to get around.
Field conditions are always top shelf at Breithaupt Park. Now we need some tournaments!
Splash pad, decent amount of parking, walking trail through the forest that can be seen on the park map, and a kids playground. Good amount of green space. Nice little area for the kids in the summer. On the walking trail there is also a Little Free Library.
I had no idea that there were so many trails at Breithaupt park! Hidden behind the playground and splash pad are a ton of trails to keep you moving. Not as big as some other parks, but definitely more than I knew about! Nice little gem of a park in the middle of the city!
Breithuapt park is a great base ball venue and will be even better when the improvements I'm doing now are complete! New trails bleachers and dugouts coming! Weve got construction well underway now.
Nice little park in the heart of a city. Well maintained and there's even a map or two of the trails. There's a small splashpad and playground for kids, and paths for those that enjoy an easy hike. Absolutely ideal for dogs - lots of trees to sniff and mark!
We are attending swimming lessons in this place for my 9 year old son! The facility is good, swimming pool warm enough and the staff is really friendly and accommodating! There are a few more activities going on as well. The swimming lessons are 45 m for beginners and the price is really affordable! Thank you and keep it up please!
It's tranquil. The trails are kept up. You can sit at the picnic tables and have lunch. There's adequate parking. The entrance and exit were switched some time ago. The entrance isn't salted in winter and you can't drive up the steep grade, should you wish to visit in winter.
Went there at night to hook up with a girl, there were lots of trails off the beaten path, and there wasnt many people walking the trails. Spent an hour and a half having fun in the forest and never got interrupted.
I love visiting this place for so many reasons. It's close to where I live and I love hiking here with my dog. The splash pad is clean and we'll maintained and a great getaway during warmer days.
This park brings back childhood memories. Although things have changed, it does provide lots of space for a picnic and a family get together. You will find swings, wading pool etc. In addition it's a great spot to go for a walk through the forest.
